What device do you have?

I have Audiovox SMT 5600 and the supported WM version in that cellphone is WM 5.0. Do you know from where I can download the WM 5.0?

I think that's HTC Typhoon, so try to look in Typhoon forum. However I am not sure, so you should make sure you really have Typhoon (otherwise you will brick your phone). It should say what phone you have in bootloader.

How to install a new os on a MDA Compact II

I want to install a new os like Windows Mobile 5 or 6 if i try to do this with the rom updater. Then my MDA is going off. Have some maby got a solution for me?
I have now Windows Mobile 2003 installed on it.

If you have an MDA Compact II (an HTC Charmer), it would already be running WinMo 5, unless you've flashed it with a newer ROM.
The original MDA Compact was an HTC Magician, and nothing short of a miracle will get anything newer than WinMo 2003 running on that, as although it looks the same, the device contains completely different hardware.

Windows Mobile Stock ROMs?

Hi Guys,
do any of you uni fans have stock roms of;
Windows Mobile 5
Windows Mobile 6
Windows Mobile 6.1
Windows Mobile 6.5.x
i would much appreciate these stock roms (you can find them/get them)

just checked the wiki, and the download link for WM5 form teh 02 website is broken (as its propably out dataed =])

To be honest, the only real true Stock roms are WM5 roms. WM6.x never made it to the Universal officially.

But could u try n find a nearish stock ROM.
i know the Artemis as a WM6 stock rom with a little RMA differnece.
but i like to uni to work... so i ant gonan try flashing it =]

The closest thing to a stock rom on here now is thingonaspring's 1.2 rom on WM6.1. no video call of course but its very very good. Loads of ram left over. WM6.5 is a bit of a non starter for the 64mb machine as it eats to much ram.

I have just purchased a new Samsung Omnia Pro B7320 with Windows 6.1 installed on it. I want to upgrade my OS to Windows Mobile 6.5. But unable to get an appropriate solution from anywhere. I can purchase the OS, if it is available in the market. But if it can be solved without purchase, I would be highly oblized. Kindly someone please guide me.
