What device do you have?
I have Audiovox SMT 5600 and the supported WM version in that cellphone is WM 5.0. Do you know from where I can download the WM 5.0?
I think that's HTC Typhoon, so try to look in Typhoon forum. However I am not sure, so you should make sure you really have Typhoon (otherwise you will brick your phone). It should say what phone you have in bootloader.

There is actually no wm5 for the majician or any of its many variants at teh moment, who knows in the future though.
I am looking for Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition installer ROM. Can anyone please tell me where can I find it?
A friend of mine is going to help me migrate my WM2003 4.2 Magician to WM2003 5.0. As some of you know WM 6.0 is soon gonna be released. Its still in beta, so I don't wanna try 6.0
So if anything goes wrong with 5.0 .. I will revert back to 4.2

hitu: if you manage to get hold of WM2003 5.0 or 6.0 for your Magician, I'd be very interested to know how it goes. You're right, I wouldn't want to try the beta either...
Do remember, there's a difference between WinCE, PocketPC and Windows Mobile. AFAIK there has not been any release of Windows Mobile based on WinCE 6 yet.

I have windows mobile 5 on my phone. I just upgraded the ROM to v 2.0.8.0 (in system information).
Is it possible to install v6 straight onto the phone, or will it not be possible on this phone. It is the hurricane - or the Qtek 8300.
If it is possible, then I would like to do it. But I dont know much about smartphones, so I was just wondering whether or not windows mobile v6 is even compatible with my phone.

I want to know that can convert it from Windows 6.5 to Android 2.3 or later OS
also if its possible can you please share the links where i will get the files of Android.
And by any chance if that procedure dose not work then how to restore the windows back so atleast phone can work.
