Help Wanted Registered Programs - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario ROM Development

Don't know if the answer is allowed to this question but here goes
Could someone tell me how\where to find the registeration details for these programs is stored? i am looking for including some in a custom rom haven't decided which programs yet but the answers i receive here will help me decide
the programs i am looking at are,
GPS Dash
GPS Gate
Highcalc
Resco Explorer,Regeditor
Maybe with this answer i could find my own details too

Be very careful how you phrase your query - I suggest that you rephrase. Asking for warez/serials is a bannable offence - and kills puppies.
However, if you're asking about just where the registration details are stored - try using SSnap to snapshot your registry before registering (hard reset or use an emulator), then register, then resnapshot and compare.
The registry details may be in a database, but if they're in the registry, this will show it up.
BTW, if you including warezed software in a custom rom, we will have to take it down and lube you up, so use caution.
V

try checking www.imserba.com

Not Looking for warez. The rom i want to build is for personal use only. all i want to do is save time after hard reset not always near my PC when i hard reset.
If I was to release the Rom I would Remove the Registeration details and owner info anyway, this would let people register progs for themselfs.

When I slide out the keyboard and type the lights go out on the keyboard within a second or two of a pause. Is there any way to make the lights stay on longer ??
I know your happy about your new wizard. But its enough with the questions.
Use the search function, like everyone elese.
About the keyboard let me say it is possible, do a search
Thanks for your kindness Weezy; I do not know about you but My job keeps me very busy, you know-job? Weezy? I have limited time to play here and I looked for a wile but thought that's what this forum was about- to ask for help. How do you know how much time I spent looking any way? It's possible I missed the answer to my question, then what-? Not everyone may have the time you have decided what is propper to search here first before asking questions. I hung out on Treo forums for 18 months and saw tons of others and myself ask many questions and never saw any one told to stop with the questions. I do not like you to much Weezy, you have taken a very fun experience for me and others in my office who are keeping up on this with me and have tryed to turn us all off about this forum and our new 8125's. Three of us bought them but only I am doing the research for us all. I could have all the others ask questions to, would that make you happy? Sorry to the others about being gruff but I thought we all had a common bond to share here. I'm not going to stop asking questions. I do not like being pushed around.
I own my business so I have to sit down and get on the computer when there aren't any customers I need to take care of.
And what your doing is breaking the FIRST rule of the forum. Let me make it faster for you, and paste it here for you.
1. Check if something hasn't been asked before
Some questions just keep popping up over and over. Please use the 'search' function in the menu above each and every page in the forum. Try entering a few keywords to see if your question has been asked before. If it has, please read the topics and see if you can figure it our from there.
(We acknowledge that part of the problem is that we never created a well-organized system of FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) documents. But then we're doing lots of cutting-edge stuff, and we'd rather build cool tools than work on perfecting FAQs.)

Talk about waste of bandwidth, weezy you are a waste. I guess 41 posts make you the big man here. I sure hope you have no interests in this web site or I would never have donated money. You are clearly wrong and to rebut as you did instead of offering help shows your integrity and willingness to help. It seems you are trying to be big man on campus, maybe in hopes to get some ware. That is not the way to do it so grow up. So when it comes to me and my posts let those that I give my money to tell me what to do here not you. As we tell people at work that try to have a say ware they do not belong" you do not sign my pay check". So weezy mind your own business.
You can get tempermental huh. I been here before you heard of Windows Mobile. It just that I switched to Treo because I was dealing with Palms at the time. I was just like you and doubted the search button. I didnt post the first I signed up here. Hey, if I didn't tell you about the search button, so one else would.
Hope you get your keyboard working
Hint, its with include in your search keyword : registry
zac123- have you found fix for key light timing - have a refurb 8125 for month and have same issue - pain in neck on train to work at 5am - have many questions and find no answers, need to post when have more time - have done extensive search on this site and others and find no fix - attempts to call phone mfgr from number given to me from my service provider are waste of time, calls go to S.Africa and have constant disconnects - keep up good work with questions, they bring out the insane and every site needs a good laugh - ask many questions and do not let the insane bother you, just laugh - need to register with pay pal when have time, want to donate - please reply
It right there in the wiki

HKCU\ControlPanel\Backlight\QKeyLedTimeout = 30 (DWORD decimal)
(This key only works on Wizard and Universal)
if you'd used the time to UTFS instead of flaming on weezy correcting your ignorance of forum ettiquete, you would have found the question had been asked dozens of times, but anyways, it won't work:
Change the keyboard backlight duration
To change the duration of the keyboard backlight, you can set (example is 30 seconds):
HKCU\ControlPanel\Backlight\QKeyLedTimeout = 30 (DWORD decimal)
Please note that this may not work on some devices. One such notable exception is the HTC Wizard.

I don't think it work on the 1.8 rom, what rom are you using? And Thank You Marcski
Weezy you are pretty smart, you new just ware to go with this. Zac123 should listen to you. I'm sorry about my post to zac123 about insane people. I wish i would have come back sooner to try your fix out. I been working on this for a month now, I will do it now. I alrady have PHM reg edit installed, this wll be easy. I chose New DWORD Value / value name I made QKeyLedTimeout and value I set to 30 and chose OK. Then it showes up under name as QKeyLedTimeout and under Data as 30(0x00001e) Unfortunately this did not fix the issue. i see that Marcski says it wont work, you guys are pretty smart. I guess it is time to give up. O well.... Maybe I will keep pestering cingular instead of you guys. Thanks any way weezy and Marcski.
Thanks, but I didn't find this registry edit. I remeber I used a cleaned rom, and it work, but I haven't applied the hack since I upgraded to the official 2.6 rom
I have a wizard with the 2.26 Molski ROM, but on earlier versions it didn't work either..
Thanks marcski, I made my self known at My service provider with this issue. We have a very large corporation that uses them so I have my corporate tek support rep checking for a firmware upgrade or something to fix this problem.I'm going to search here more now for a firmware upgrade, I read someware else there is an unofficial release of one. I hope I can find it, there is so much on this site and I have trouble with the search engine.
here's a hint to a good rom, its by molski.
Here's the link
http://www.molski.biz/
Or just go the Wizard Update forum, plenty of roms for the wizard and 8125. Search for mr clean rom to, its pretty.
I myself use the official t-mo rom 2.6
You can update the rom and do a hard reset, and when it get to the part where it say's "install customization" press the reset button on the side, and it won't install those ugly carrier customization

It's been a wile since my last post but i want to have some info so I could contribute something to this web site. I have researched extensively the keyboard light timing issue with the 8125 and I do not have good news. I have some phone numbers here that any one may use to call and check on there own about the info I am posting. I was on the phone for 65 minuts with a few different tech support agents wile they tested there own 8125's and researched the issue. They all said the light timing is controlled by a capassitor that once fired has a discharge rate of it's own that can no be controled by any firmware upgrade or registery entry. They said this then is a hardware issue therefore it ca not be addressed. These are the phone numbers; 713-774-7888 is for the main offices and 877-878-6944 was for opperational questions and 888-354-2375 was for repair and technical support. The last # was ware I got all this info today. So now I am going to put this issue to rest and just get used to the phone the way it is. I have been customizing it with different software, such as Handy Switcher- PocketPC Batter Monitor- Phm Registery Editor- IM-Pluss- SPB-Backup and WiFiFOFum wi-fi sniffer. I find all these programs very helpful, some I have already purchased and some I am waiting for another pay day. My next two projects are to find out why the first Hot Sync never works and comes up with an error making me unplug the phone and start over, then it syncs up fine. Then I need to find some king of Java application to install that will allow me to watch my live traffic cams like I did on my Treo 650. This has all been fun work so far.

need help with very small program for myself.. plz help

im trying to get a very very small program runnint, however im very lost when it comes to programming windows mobile device, i have a database online, and i want a small dialog box to show up on my wm device and alow me to type something in , then it search the online database.. and return the information, or even just take me to where the online listing is, that's all no bells or whistles.. could someone help me with this please?
i have even added a search feature to my database, soo i just basically want this little program to relay text to that search feature, then take me to it.. so i don't have to go to all these links and whatnot
Well,
it is quite hard to advice you anything without actually knowing about the file structure / database format. Maybe the easiest way would be to simply set up a search option online as a WAP2.0 page - if you don't want others to access this section, simply password protect it.
If you really have a need to generate the 'search string' offline (which I just can't understand since you want to be taken to your DB online) then simply use something which generates the search string for you.
For example you could have a "results.php" online which simply needs the search terms 'attached' in order to list you all relevant records. Now, the question remains how the database is structured. If you have 2 fields in your database, containing firstname and lastname, then it would be simple. You would need only something that adds your search terms to the string and then navigates to your server. For example you search for SMITH as lastname, it would have to transfer the string as followed:
www.mysite.com/results.php?lastname=smith
For sure your results.php needs to be programmed first!
However,
this has nothing to do with your device, you better join a programmer forum - in this case I would suggest you look for web development forums since this can be done entirely on the server side!

[Q] Samsung Focus S = Not hack friendly

So, I have the feeling this isn't the place to post this, but seeing as how I was unable to find a section for the Focus S (yet there is one for the HTC Titan, which isn't even out yet) I figured I might as well post somewhere.
I've interlop unlocked and loaded a few different .xap's onto my device and have found that most either will not work (they close shortly after loading up) or they allow you to navigate around, but not edit anything. Advanced Config, Registry Editor, Samsung Tools, etc. will not allow for any kind of registry changes. Is there anyone who can point me to the right place for solving this issue?
Give me, oh, another hour. Reverse engineering the Focus S DLLs now. Already have registry, provxml, quite possibly filesystem, and a few other things (including the interface for call blocking, which doens't seem to exist in the older phones - sorry people with first-gen phones).
The new SecProxyClient.dll is super-useful. The new FCRouterProxy.dll looks to be amazing too, with lots of new APIs, but they obfuscated the function signatures, so it's going to take me a while to figure them out.
Of course, I don't have Focus S or Focus Flash, so I'm going to need some testers to make sure I've reassembled these APIs correctly. Any takers? I make no guarantee that these functions will work correctly, and if they don't it could mess up something, but I'll try hard to avoid that.
EDIT: Of course, the apps will need to be modified to use the new APIs and DLLs. It's not like I can publish my results and eisting apps will magically just work. I'll include the source of course, though, so it should be easy to build on my work. If schaps were willing to distribute the source for his own apps, I could fix them myself, but no such luck. That's what you get for closed-source, I guess.
I'm right here to test what you need.
I am more than willing to test. Just post it here or shoot me an email: [email protected]
I'm western time, so ill be up for a while
Yeah, I'm not.
Ill leave the testing for you, hope you guys have **** worked out by the morning.
i'm also willing to test as well, but please don't break my phone
All right folks, have at it. I'd like a few testers from each device, if possible, but mostly I just want good reports. PLEASE read the first post carefully - yes, I know it's long, but it will save both of us time.

Moved to WP7 Q&A
You are correct there is no focus s forum. There are some posts relating to that phone there, but they are different so i will not move it there. As it is a question it has been moved to WP7 Q&A. Hopefully if and when a focus s forum is created you can request the thread is moved again.
Take it easy
O_G
You know, I'm beginning to wonder of the reason that the call blocking app is struggling so much is just because there's a problem with this DLL that it is (and I am) trying to use. Sigh...
Speaking of which, if anybody can get me the XAP for the Call Blocking app, or for any other Samsung Gen2 app, that could be very helpful.
Here you go

[Completed] [Q] General overview & terminology for noobs

What is rooting as opposed to flashing as opposed to unlocking the bootloader, what is the ROM vs recovery?
How do exposed and gravity box fit in?
When and why would you want to do these things and how do they relate to each other?
Why are they (and which ones are) required just to do a full backup of my device?
How should I back up if I want all my configuration tweaking and settings to migrate but not the apps data?
How should I back up if I want to restore to a similar model device as opposed to the exact same one? What if they are running different versions of Android?
How should I back up if I just want all my apps and their data on a completely different model device?
How can I sync settings, apps & data between multiple devices whenever on wifi, without requiring user intervention - automatically, constantly and in the background?
Thanks in advance. . .
Hi,
Most of your questions are covered in this Android Dictionary from XDA,
http://xda-university.com/as-a-user/android-dictionary
You can click the colored words for more info.
That is a general overview.
As far as more details go, I can only suggest searching xda, or Google (adding the word "xda" to your search words) for more on your questions.
Xda Assist is here to help navigate the site, not for support or discussions. Unfortunately you've asked a "tell me all" type question... And that's a little more than we go into here.
If you need help finding your device section, let me know your device make and model number and I'll point you towards it.... There you can read more or ask further questions.
But really, if you're completely new to this stuff.... Spend some time researching all this before doing anything. And things will start to make sense. ?
Good luck!

Hello,
The Galaxy S7 has multiple variants and builds. Normally when asking this kind of question, you should include the model of your device. That way anyone wanting to help you actually has the knowledge to be able to do so. Phones have different internal parts, memory space, and so on. You can find your model number by doing the following:
- slide down the notification bar, sometimes you may have to slide down twice depending on the device. Click the gear in the upper right hand corner. "Settings"
OR
- Access your app drawer or all apps section and find your "settings" section/app. Most of the time it will have a icon of a gear, or three lines that resemble on off switches. Older androids sometimes use just have three lines (as the settings icon)
- Find the section labeled "About Device / Device Info" its usually labeled something similar if not exactly. Open this section
(Galaxy phones usually have this section at the bottom of your "settings" section)
- Somewhere within this section, there will be a label that reads "Model" and that is your specific variant which is needed in device specific situations.
* Take Note of this for future reference. You might think okay ill remember that. But when you come to realize your devices model number may be XDA-2017T1 and you look for something pertaining your device. You will also find something like this:
XDA-2017
XDA-2017YP
XDA-2017YP2
XDA-2017T0
XDA-2017T2
XDA-2017T10
Assuming that you will continually update and/or customize your phone. You will probably just memorize this, along with other important information. Some important things you should include while researching is as follows (the top two are very important)
1. [Model Number] ex) XDA-2017T1
2. [Android Version] ex) 6.0.1 Marshmallow
3. [Baseband]
4. [Kernel]
5. [Chipset]
6. Is device "rooted?"
7. Is the bootloader unlocked?
8. GSM or CDMA. Older devices even use IDEN
Those are only some.
* I also want you to know that im not trying to lecture you, or give you a hard time. I am honestly trying to help you and in order to successfully help you I have to ensure that you know things, or mention things, that is important to do. So your device isnt broken, or you get information that is correct but incorrect for your specific device.
But back to the topic originally referenced.
Q) "Is the program Dr. Fone able to bypass the screen lock security measures on the Samsung Galaxy S7?"
A) Based on limited information that is device specific, and the current Supported Devices section from Dr Fones documentation
"No"
• Dr. Fone doesnt have the capabilty to bypass your screen lock. They will probably include the S7 within a period of time due to it being a main stream phone though.
• Remember this; locks can and will be broken. Just because a vulnerabilty hasnt been exposed or discovered doesnt mean that its 100% secure.
• Keep current with OTA updates, keep in tune with tech type news.
• Encryption is vast subject, but I can refer to it like the "invisible magical ink" That was popular in the 90's. The light that reveals the ink to the naked eye, is your password. The inabilty to see the ink normally without a specific tool, would be encryption. So if someone cracked your password, your encryption would also be disabled. I linked more information below, for you to read. I still dont fully understand encryption myself, nor do I believe or trust it.
I based this information assuming your device is the SM-G930. It is accurate as possible but not guaranteed. Do realize with the information I mentioned and with the question you asked. I was able to do a simple Google search and almost immediately found the answers. Try to figure things out before you ask in the future. You can repeat the process of not researching prior to posting but typically your post will die. If you get stuck and have put forth honest effort, the great people here at XDA will probably help out greatly. I hope I have helped you, and you now feel better about your concerns. please pay it foward.
If you feel ive helped or gave a honest attempt to help. Hit the thumbs up, that is the thanks button.

I'm sorry, I completely forgot to mention the model of my S7, it is the SM-G930F on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, thanks for answering me.
On the other hand, I'm disappointed that a commercial program can unlock a phone.
I hope that this way of circumventing the locking of smartphones will be solved, because malicious people could use it to unlock phones that do not belong to them ...
The only way to protect yourself from this program is to install an application that protects personal data.
Thank you again for answering!
Wondershare Dr. Fonefor unlooking thr screen.
Wondershare Dr. Fone is a powerful instrument to regain iPhone lost information, it can help scan and recover them from iTunes or iCloud copies in case you've got backup your iPhone into iTunes or iCloud, or it helps you regain contacts directly from the device. Besides it's harmonious with iPhone 5s/5c/4S/ / 4/3GS and it might recover 18 kinds of content such as pictures, videos, contacts, messages, notes, and phone log, voicemail, voice memos, calendars, reminders, etc.. :good:
I agree with you. A commercial program available for a few dollars can unlock a password protected phone. What is Android/ios waiting to solve this threat?
