I have one problem with my Qtek.... It loosed the sound.
I have opened and do not see any problems, i have downgraded the firmware. But the problem persists... can anyone help me? what is this problem?
Where can i find the portuguese Lang ROM?
probably it's a hardwareproblem. It happens a lot the the earphoneplug gets stuck. Perhaps it helps to "priegel" a bit...

Hi all. Sorry for my english. It´s bad but I try it .
I´ve got a qtek s100 with spanish rom and the volume of internal speaker (not hands-free) is too low. Of course, I put phone sound to high top...
One friend has got the same qtek and the volume is higher than mine...
I´ve upgraded to ROM 1.11 and the problem is the same...
Anyone know if can I do something to solve this problem?

my suggestion is try upgrading to 1.12 and radio to 1.13.
According to my experience the higher the rom version the higher the audio output....myself upgraded from 1.06->1.11->1.12. 1.12 seems to be the best in terms of audio output. best of luck

I´m a beginner in pda world and when I upgraded my qtek I used an auto-executable file (one exe). I´d need an upgrade like this, cause I can break my pda if I use a very difficult system like others that I have senn in internet (ej. editing rom using several programs, etc.)

I bought a second hand imate K-JAM a couple of weeks ago and immediately upgraded the ROM to WM6 (BlackDiamond 2.0). Ever since, everyone I talk with tells me they can barely hear me - my voice is too loud and they can hear even the faintest background noises. Because I had just bought the device and upgraded the ROM - I can't tell the reason for this problem - is it a hardware fault? Is it a problem with the ROM? Maybe I should upgrade the radio version? Or is there perhaps a software setting solution?
Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Are you using any BT headset? That can cause some problems...if not try changing to original radio, or the radio of your service provider.

Thanks for the quick reply! No, the problem exists only when not using a BT headset...(When using a BT headset the sound is clear).
The question is what is the most probable cause to this problem? The ROM, the radio, a hardware issue? Has anyone else encountered such a problem? I would try changing the ROM but there is one piece of software that is tied to the current version, ID-wise.

OK - tried upgrading to the latest radio version - and no change.
Is there any way to play with the microphone settings - sensitivity, volume, etc.?

You should first flash a rom from your provider before flashing a rom from this site.

Thanks for the reply. What I meant was that the new radio had no change to the sound issue.
I've recently installed a different ROM on my HTC and I can't hear through the ear-phone, the speakerphone works though. I've tried 4 other ROMS, on only one does the ear-phone actually work (the Raphael O2 UK 5.12.206.1 with Radio Sign 52.63.25.34 1.14.25.05), but on that one my wifi is disabled. Did anyone else experienced the problem, and if so, did he solve it?

I bought my XT720 and watched two serious problems.
First: It restarts at any time. Without doing anything it restarts.
Second: For a few calls he is mute and does not end the call. Just removing the battery and putting it back to back to normal.
Anyone know what can be and how we can solve this problem? Thanks in advance for help. Sorry my bad English.

I using Dexter's Froyo 2.2.1..but in Stock rom I have the same problem.
Anyone know what might be causing this problem?
did you install a lot of apps to the phone?
did you try another SIM card?
