I saw some thread was upgrade the magician(O2 mini) 1.13 version but is not in ENGLISH version and a lot of them seems like a bit regret after upgrade and would like to ask for help for changing back to English version. Here's the file which im found and share with you all. Hope i did make help to those who need to scroll back to English version since cant get the NL_11300_131_11200.exe so just replace with MA_11300_128_11200.exe ^^

I already found this one. But I downloaded MA_TMNL.....ship.exe.
It has 132 in middle no. I think 132 is higher then 128 and I don't think UK is English and NL is dutch.
So I must my download from the start.
I have only very slow internet link about 2k or 3k download speed.

I have a brand new JAM with ROM 1.03.00WWE which I used on O2.
most things work: can't get it to synch remotely over VPN, photos appear snowy. Is the a point to upgrade to higher ROM version? what advantages can I exepct and if there are any can someone pls point to a location that explains the in and outs of upgrading and where the upgrade file is?

From my understanding the new WWE Jam Rom is not that stable, but I may be wrong
Help! I need the imate generic world wide english 1.06.00 rom. I upgraded to 1.11.00 and have to many problems. The older rom is no longer on the imate site. Can some one please give me a download link or upload to a server for me.

Same here, I'd love to go back to the v1.06 Rom which had behaved perfectly for me, none of the commonly reported problems. Since putting 1.11 on I now get the GPRS re-connect problem and sometimes the hang-up (or not) call problem. I did have a copy of this when I upgraded from the original rom but I managed to leave it on a PC in Oz which has now been re-formatted.
I can provide any imate phone edition roms or v1.11 jam rom if required.

I logged in to imate ftp server and found following three files appearing to be 1.06 ROM. Anyone has an idea, which one, if any, is a right one for US 850 version JAM?

Judging by the current file names I think the versions are as follow:
_169_ is either the US or Portuguese version
_168_ is a Spanish version
_172_ is not listed

You'll be able to find that dll if you extract the shipped rom you have downloaded.

Are you sure you have downloaded a Magician ROM. There are a lot of WWE roms in the ftp. If yes, the only thing I could suggest is to search for topics regarding upgrade of the 128mb versions.

Just a question; where did you buy your device? If from the US, that's the reason why the upgrade succeeded.

There's no difference between US english and WWE english.
What I can recall is that your device is a s110 and it is exactly the same like the s100, the difference being the s110 has 128 mb ram and the s100 has only 64 mb. I also recall that some users have successfully upgraded their s110's rom. Why don't you search for these threads? Another possibility is to ask support from imate.
Hi, I'm new in all this. Recently I get one MDA Compact (Magician). It all works but I have one problem. It's Germany version, and I don't know German so I want to switch it on English. Can somebody tell me how can I do this exactly (some links, guide, which programs I need to use), because I'm new in all this and I don't want to brake my gift I read some tutorials but I didn't get it all and I'm scared that I will burn ROM.

Hi,
The best solution for You is using .exe files provided by operators like T-mobile (Germany) or Era (Poland). These ROM versions are usually WWE (World Wide English - Edition) and can be found on operator web pages usually as "support".

Ok so my friend gave me a herald with the russian version of WM cant understand a damn thing. So reading here a little bit i am guessing that I need to flash an english version.

Ok so first I flash the Aserg-Hard-Spl.4.70.yan then do the upgrade to the russian software? Or do I flash the SPL after the upgrade?
Also I have no idea of what buttons control what. for example getting to bootloader etc.
Im not new to this I have hacked my G1 several times just a different phone throws me off a bit. lol

getting invalid vendor id when i try to upgrade. is this an issue where the rom has not been signed? if so can someone point me to one that works.
