But the one wich has the fix by removing Init_Tray.lnk from /windows/startup, I don't have that lnk there. So what are other options?

No No, not this one.
You need to change some registries which you need some tools (eg. Resco Registry editor which you can search registries and TotalCommander).
Make a search in this forum on tray icon & registry.
On my 8525 (and my old TyTN as well), the connection manager icon used to be visible in the system tray. But since the Kaiser has no dedicated connection manager button, I want to put the icon there for easy access. Yes, I know I could map a button to it, but I've already got my mapping where I want it.
Anyone know what the registry entry might be? Any help is appreciated!
try PHM traylauncher.

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping for some kind of registry edit. I also want to get the battery icon down there too. There has to be a reg edit for both of these, I just can't find it.
PHM Traylaunch is your best bet for doing both of the things you've mentioned.
You can find it here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=26692&d=1141536332
Have you tried using the HTCHomeplug under start > settings > today > items? It's not the tray, but its what you are looking for.
Does anybody know how to set up a softkey to Manila Contacts (those that show after launching "phone"/ left key, not those in start menu)

The registry setting is located;
HKLM\Software\HTC\Manila
Here you will find LSK (Left Soft Key) and RSK (Right SK) path and text.
You would set the path to Windows\ContactAgent.exe.
You can set the text to whatever you want.
Soft reset and you're done.
Thanks.
Just before reading your answer I found a hint for a solution in an old post.
Actually I used the following expression under LSK path:
Manila://people\browserlayer\?.page
and it works as well.
Thank you very much anyway!

Oh yes, you did say "Manila" contacts didn't you. My apologies.
You can also use BsB Tweaks to change it to what ever you like.

The possition fix works for any program. So if there are other programs that have an overlap problem, here is a simple fix.
I have been trying to do this using xtasks for swype without any luck. have you managed to add the swype window class using this.

I'm sorry but I don't use swype. It seems to do a pretty good job though for any class name. Give it a try (although I don't think xtasks or for example ameba uses another mechanism) But hey, who knows?
haven't tried xtasks but Ameba is good. only prob is that u need to disable the position fix when running Garmin.
showcase 1.01 in the 1st post is known to crash / freeze in the new WM builds.
u can't position fix the swype keyboard unfortunately. there's a general registry setting to adjust the SIP display area but swype (2.0 at least) seems to ignore this.

Although the hack is from e-natives, it isn't showcase. Just a little hack.
i have trouble with wm6.5.x when installing programs... i tried to install pocket player 5.3.5.. when finished the installation, have to press OK button in the right angle, on top, but is not visible (hidden under the small clock) and can not touch it, as there is the titlebarlist from wm6.5.x (an other thing that i hate) .. or other programs have a button to the right corner, to the bottom, hidden by the large bottom bar.. it is any solution to automaticaly resize the windows of the programs to the size of wm6.5.x ?

Total Commander
Hi All,
Anyone know of a way to position fix Total Commander on 6.5.x?
I love this program and use it all the time but the toolbar overlaps at the bottom. I've tried both Ameba and e-natives position fix but they don't do it.
Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks.

Steve,
Thanks, but it still has the tools at the bottom rather than the softkeys. I was hoping to get the Start and X buttons still in place while using TCMD.
