hello,
is there a dutch rom for my mda vario.
if there is a solution can some one explain ith in dutch.
because my technical english is noth so good.

It's useless to make an dutch translation of a rom becouse there are so many updates of the existing roms that if you make a dutch version it gets outdated. Mayb if there's a good working, fast and stable rom out there i will make a dutch version of it, but that will be a very basic rom. All the experimental roms such as NBD and XM6, wich evoluate every day to a newer rom, i will not translate becouse then i will be on a every day task of translating.

Het is stom een nederlandse vertaling te maken van een rom, omdat die rom dan veroudert. Als je een goede vertaling hebt gemaakt is er van de originele engelse versie alweer een nieuwe verschenen. Misschien als er een goede, stabiele en snelle rom is wil ik best een vertaling maken, maar dat zal wel een basis rom zijn met alle standaard functies van wm6. Een vertaling maken van experimentele roms zoals NBD en XM6 zou tijdverspilling zijn omdat die roms bijna elke dag een update krijgen. Ik zou er een dagtaak aan hebben die roms te vertalen.

Because y wonder are all those extra function nessesairy .
My older rom version from tmobile wm 5 was perfect form me.
Y think that a loth of persens can do without the exstra's.
So if there is a translation to make from a standert englisch wm 6 rom that will be fine for me.
Y also wonder if y can make that my self but cold not find a sort of tuturol
(vertaling) in dutch hou to do that.
because if its not so mutch work y try to do ith myself.

I could give it a try this week, but i'm not certainly sure if i could manage have it finished before monday(i'm going on vacation).
I think it's going to be wm6 build based on the current version of NBD 7.9, It's very stable and fast, plus there are some cool features in it.

We would take this as the core, so we can add software afterwards. Anybody who has experience with it?

Hi Maarten,
Do you have that core, ore do you mean the dutch language pack for wm6 sdk? Becouse if it's a full rom and you have it, then it would be easy to add software to it.

You can download the official WM6 versions over here. You download a kind of emulator. But the all the official Dutch-**** is in it. This program will create several bin-files on your hard disk of your pc. So basically this is the 'core,' but unfortunately I don't know how to convert it to a usable format for the rom-kitchens.
Moreover, when writing this, I have a 'unofficial' Dutch WM6 Rom working on my MDA Wizard. I took a very recent experimental WM6 Rom (I don't know the exact rom) and did this tutorial. But this not working properly An other possibility is written down here:
**Edit: When Molski was alive, he was kind to make an special ext-rom for the dutch. You can download it over here. You can install it on your favorite WM6 release. Note: it will override your current ext-rom!! After installing the only things you have to do are:
- Delete the file \Windows\initobj.dat and rename \Windows\welcome.lnk to something like welcome.bak.lnk
- Delete the folder "\Program Files"
- Delete the folder "\Windows\Fonts"
- Delete the folder "\Windows\Favorites"
- Delete the folder "\Windows\Programs"
- Delete the folder "\Windows\Start Menu"
- Delete the folder "\Windows\Start Up"
- Remove all English folders in \My Documents (EXCEPT THE TEMPLATES FOLDER, in this folder the Camera Templates will be stored!)
I'm not responsible for any damage to your device, use it on your own risk. In my case it worked partly, because some soft-buttons are not working. For instance the one in file explorer/verkenner. I think this is caused by the new functions in WM6 what weren't available in WM5 at that time. But for the people who really can't wait, try this and you have your own favorite Dutch WM6 ROM!**

Its a good solution for those who don't want to reflash, but for me it's not good enough. I'd like to cook a fresh dutch rom. I'll look over the msi package that you were talking about. At first glance i think its a package for the sofware development kit(SDK) for windows mobile 6. You can only use it with visual basic and the SDK. I'm gonna sort this out!

Hi Bram. Yesterday I spend almost the whole day on this problem. But in the evening is was that close... I got a Dutch-emulator binary extracted and separated in ROM and SYS directories. These are basically the 'core' for a rom-kitchen. I made several Dutch roms myself and I could flash them on my MDA. But after the second boot screen the device got stuck..
So if there is somebody who has experience with cooking roms, please respond

Help!! i can not flash any rom (yes i read wiki and other newbie info)

Hello i can not flash any rom i would like to flash the orginal htc 6.1 udate(dutch)
i flashed many roms but yesterday the troubles started. some times flashing thing stopped. i found a solution to recover from bad flashes (THANKS XDA FRIENDS!! for doing so much work for a stupid phone) but today igive a new try but i got an error 226 flash write or something(i forgot because i am angry) someone can help me and tell me whats wrong?? i used spl... 3.29 or do i need hard-spl 1?
Tool i used to recover from bad flash :KAISIMG.NBH and KAISDIAG.NBH
extra tool to flash and chanche pagepool: PagePool Changer.exe(it is in a kaiser kitchen i found here on xda)
this things make me mad.
is there a tutorial to flash from SD card?
can someone help me please???

if you have buy from ebay or from somewhere else your mobile and not from your country is deferent language so you must unlocked first..
you must found super CID
after unlock you must flash the "Hard SPL 3.29"
now if you have stuck now with no windows try your solution with KAISIMG.NBH and KAISDIAG.NBH or try to flash HTC 3.28 WWE

but, the poster mentioned he wants to flash back ( or forward i.d.c. ) to the orginal htc rom in his case( dutch, eq. Nederlands ) and he has flashed a few roms as stated also. so plz help this poor guy to fix/unbrick his kaiser phone

je kan proberen op je sd kaart te zetten.
noem de NBH file : KAISIMG.nbh
zet hem in de root van je sd kaart, zorg wel dat je sd kaart Fat 32 is en nie 16.
als je dat hebt gedaan, druk je de camera knop in en tegelijkertijd reset je hem houd de camera knop in totdat hij vanzelf zegt druk powerknop in om te flashen
door de camera knop inte houden bij een reset kom je in de bootloader, hier is ook info over de spl te zien.
als je in de buurt van eindhoven woont, kan ik hem ook wel fixen voor je als het je echt niet lukt (hoop ik)
als dit allemaal niet werkt, probeer gewoon een custom rom te flashen, zodat je kaiser tenminste weer kan gebruiken.

you can try on your sd card
call the NBH file: KAISIMG.nbh
put him in the root of your sd card, make sure to format your sd card to FAT32 not FAT16
if you've done, you press the camera button and hold it reset it and wait for the message to press power button to flash
if all this does not work, try just a custom Flash ROM, so you can use your kaiser.

May sound dumb but try this........When the updater just starts and right when your phone turns to the bootloader mode (the 3 color screen) unplug your USB cord from the phone wait a 10-30 seconds (usually mine will work if i wait only 5 seconds) and plug it back in and wait and see if it starts.
Is your device Security Unlocked or have you recently done so?
When you get this error did the update progress go to 100% or stay at 0%??

nothing worked for me

a tried all the things here.
in the past few months iflashed allot of roms and no problems until i flashed...
throttle diamond 2 rom. i still not able to flash something.
even from sd card.
some text light up in red telling me that something is wrong(grmmbl)
i unchecked the option on my phone: advanced network connection in connections tab USB TO PC connecton.
i can boot up and use my phone thats not the problem. i cannot flash back to the official rom update 6.1 because i would try Navigon 7.
it give me installation errors so i thought it is better to get an orginal rom...right?
hope you have more tips.

Flashing my Dutch Touch Pro

Hi,
I have a dutch T-Mobile ROM on my MDA Vario IV (HTC Touch Pro). I want to have a normal HTC stock-ROM installed, because I hate the pink touchflo stuff and I've tried some other themes with the TF3D tool, but they just don't work right and slow the phone down.
I've searched all over the forums but I just can't seem to find a step by step tutorial on flashing my phone. I did find something on the web. Can somebody confirm this is the way to go?
First I backed up all my data and did the HardSPL thing, that worked (checked it with the reset to the three color-screen).
Then I wanted to flash my ROM to the stock Dutch HTC ROM. I downloaded two files from the wiki page. But with both files, the ROM I'm going to put on is older than the new one. Is that right? Is there anyone here who might have flashed his/her dutch T-mobile branded Touch Pro maybe who can tell me which files were used? What is the latest dutch stock HTC Pro ROM? Is that the one in the Wiki?
Sorry for all those questions, I'm a Touch Pro flashingvirgin

Ik heb ook T-Mobile en ik heb hun recente update met widgets uitgevoerd. Hier baal ik enorm van, want er zijn veel te weinig widgets en andere programma's zoals Weather is er uit gehaald.
Ik zou graag zoals jij naar de originele versie van htc terug willen. Hoe heb jij dit gedaan?
Waar heb je de bestanden vandaan gehaald?
Krijg je met het netwerk, zoals GPRS en mms etc. geen problemen? Zo ja hoe heb je dit dan opgelost?

Help onlangs heb ik een Htc diamond gekocht bij vodafone niet wetende dat dit soort toestellen "branded" waren. Hier zou ik graag vanaf willen en het schijnt te kunnen maar ik weet niet hoe. Wie kan en wil mij helpen???

Hi liamhere tnx a lot for the link when you are a noob like me it is hard to find.
I read almost al the threads but there are stil a lot of ?????? in my head.
Like: is it usefull to update spl to hard spl?
do i loose warrenty?(i realy do think so)

Yes you loose your warranty, but you can always go back to the opriginal ROM to make it valid

Question "Your Language is not suported on this device" Google Assistant

Sorry that i bring this Problem here again, but i have no Answer: How can i bring to work the Google Assistant on GW4?? i see, the Assistant is on the Watch, but, when i connect to the Phone, it says : ""Your Language is not suported on this device"..I live in Austria and my Watch is German Version.
