Bluetooth Problem after "ALL-IN-One Guide" - JAM, MDA Compact, S100 Software Upgrading

I finished doing the "ALL-IN-ONE Guide" by toomuchdogfur and it worked perfectly. The problem I have now is that my car now does not communicate with my phone. It use to work perfect before the hack. Does the 1.13 upgrades and big storage hack mess around the bluetooth capatability with a car? (I thought it was suppose to make it better)
Thanks in advanced.

nothing
this is a test

you have to install BTHUSB_PATCH_AKU26.CAB or this. These are the bluetooth driver that you need to make it work again...
...BTHUSB_PATCH_AKU26.CAB can be found if you have a backup of your extended_rom or just look at the FTP..

works perfectly thank you

I've no problem selecting the Bluetooth GPS with W2003 SE installed (2.02).
Currently using GPS driver V3.00 not upgraded to newer versions yet.
Regards,
Mark
This is great news. Been waiting/searching for this for months now!
Do you two both use the 2.02 SE, or is it also proven with the 2.06 SE?
What brand is the BT GPS you're using?
Did you test with / without creating a serial port in order to try to choose 'Bluetooth GPS' in TT GPS?
To help ppl that do not want to upgrade, could you possibly post the registry setings of Bluetooth here?

Which key do you want me to export?
By the way have also tried it with TT3 GPS driver 3.03 and this does work too.
But the issue BTGPS together with a headset is partly still there. As it sometimes works and sometimes not. haven't found a way to make it work all the time.
Regards,
mark
I use ver 2.06 SE and a Holux Gr 230. Only tried it with serial port profile.
TomTom is 3.07
Wohaa!! Since youre using the Holux GR-230 means my DConnex DC-230 will probably also work with 2.06 and not have the TomTom lockup when theres no BT connection available!!!
This made my day!
Have to think fast to put together an T-Mobile ExtROM for 2.06SE now . . .
BT without spp don't work.

Since v1.60c my bluetooth second binding is distorted

Since v1.60c my bluetooth second binding/connection is distorted.
In the car, first my TomTom gps binds and connect perfect and then my carkit Parrot 3100 binds and connect perfect. But when i make a phonecall, the line is very distorted. Some buzz is on the line.
And if i change the sequence, by first binding the carkit, and after that trying to bind the TomTom gps. The gps will not bind at all.
The last version that worked correct was the version 1.60c
Somebody with the same experience?
PS. is it possible to extract the Bluetooth files from the v1.60c version and save on the latest versions?
Gps & Parrot Together With Wm2k5 : Bluetooth Incompatibility ??
Same happens to me.
I'm experiencing this problem since I upgraded from WM2003SE.
Every WM2K5 ROM I've tryied does the same.
If once gps and parrot both are binded, you go to bluetooth settings/devices/and you disable hands free service, wait for few seconds and enable it again, then the parrot should work with no trouble.
It's the only that works to me...I have to do it every time I get in my car.
If somebody has the solution I would apreciate.
FRANCESC
Yes, it works for me too. But it isn't a beautiful way to connect!
Somebody know what this could be?
hi
could the both of you with the parrot 3100 please tell me:
.) does it sync the phonebook with pda's contacts?
.) does it show the name of the incoming call?
.) does it show mobile providers net status (=strenght)
if not: have you tried www.jetwaremobile.com ? does it work with that "enhancement"?
thanks!

I will try!
Thanks for this information, I'll try.

Not working for me!
I think that I'm suffering with the same problem. I used to use a Nokia CK-1W for hands free and a iBlue BT GPS with Tomtom6 on my Jasjam/Dopod/Hermes and had no problems whatsoever. I've just changed the car and have fitted a Parrot CK3100 (FW 1.6C) and I can no longer connect to hands free and the GPS at the same time.
If I bind to the GPS first everything is fine until I attempt to pair with the Parrot. Upon pairing synchronisation starts and then for some reason the bloody thing starts to make a call!!! The phone doesn't recognise that it's calling, it's just the kit doing it. Once paired and synched the GPS connection is killed.
If I bind to the Parrot first I have no bizarre calling issues but I am unable to locate the GPS device.
What the hell? Have I bought a turkey?
Anyone with a suggestion as to how to fix it?

so. none of these three questions is answered with YES? does it work out-of-the-box?
so if i get you right: there is no way to sync my contacts with the 3100?
thanks ize|man
I mean it's not solving my problem
Didn't solve mine either. In fact, it made it worse! I still have all the connection problems but in addition, the battery meter no longer shows on the Parrot. Uninstalling jetware returned the meter.

BT GPS does not work / function

Installed Helmi Himalaya ROM but now I can not get my BT GPS to work. If I discover I find the device, but there is a questionmark for the BT GPS text.
I have TomTom 6 installed but it will not see / connect with the GPS
Someone experience, because this is 70% of the use of my device??
some people report that they have to turn off beam
in connections to free a comport that some gps's require
not sure if goes for bluetooth devices too
Found it, the BT stops working when combining 2 BT devices. A headset and a GPS do not funtion together.
I'll have to look for a solution, but in the meantime I can "switch" betweeen them. Anyone a suggestion??

They do.
You have to connect GPS first though.

This is exactly what I said: you have to connect GPS first, then handsfree/BT audio streaming not in reverse order.

GPS and COMM ports please help

Maybe I`ll get a respons in WM6 maybe everyone is here now !!!
Hello,
THis is probably posted some where, but I cant find it.
When I pair my GPS using bluetooth I only get an option of using port 6 or 7 and my program wants to use port 8 or 9 where in registry can I change so it will give me an option for any port that I want. Thank you.
sorry I can't help but I would be interested in the answers since I am having some trouble getting my phone to pair (data, handsfree works fine) with a TomTom 720. What GPS are you using? I have a thread going called Wizard, DUN and TomTom or something like that.

[SOLVED]BMW bluetooth - an expensive accessory does not work :(

Hi, I am trying to get my BMW bluetooth to work with TG01
only the phonebook transfer work correctly
Jetware 1.4 did not improve anything
Please help anyone has their TG01 working with BMW?
UPDATE 2010/03/29
a half solution is to start the car, then turn the BT on the phone, then it works perfect.
the reason why his is a HALF solution only: next time you start the car you have to start BT on the phone again ( I am used to have my BT working 24/7 )

Not BMW, but I have it working perfectly paired with my Ford car system. So I'd suspect is most likely a settings isue one side or the other rather than anything fundamental.
well I have noticed that it works well with newer idrive models, but mine is 2005 MY so no idrive and no luck
ive also heard alot of complaints like this ... not being able to read phonebook
ill try today in 2008 toyota

maybe u should try bmw forum ?

Yes, I have tried 2 bmw forums, but they do not know about WM 6.5 much
this is my first WM phone, all the other phones worked in the same car.
I managed now to get sms to show on the screen of the car, but calls is more important
people here in HD2 forum said they exange some big (5-6 digits) number in the registry and it works for them, but I am pesimistic about this because they have different BT stack, right?
HD2 - widcomm
TG01 - MS
well it never hurts to try , just make sure u can undo it .. tho if the regkey contains "htc" somwhere it most def wont work
I have downloaded a utility for enabling rSAP profile on our phone - it did not help...I then disabled the rSAP and a miracle!!!
I managed to place 2 calls already. I hope on next connection with the car it will still work
what is this miracle program which lets you enable the rSAP? I need it too!!

search this forum "rSAP"...but before you do a short update:
of course on next connection, nothing worked ...and I have updated to the new rom and did not install rSAP and I was able to obtain the same result...this means it has nothing to do with my previous success
this situation is driving me grazy already...I do not know why sometimes i can get it to work perfectly by just switching BT on and off.
today i have wasted many hours just turning it on and off trying to find the rule, working combination - so far it seems to work at random
and if I get it to work it works for the next call and the next...until I get out of the car. when I start the car again it does not work r-r-r...how can I take a "snapshot" of the phones state when it is working and somehow replicate this state every other time I am in the car?!!
please help me
try resetting ur phone , sometimes it wont pair with my bt headset nomatter what i do but a phone softreset fixes it

a SR does indeed fix it, but only until next disconnect...when I came to the next day it is the same story again
I refuse to believe that this just a normal thing for WM (although having for the last couple of years only blackberries, I miss their stability and auto on/off function) ...even WM cannot be THAT glitchy
anyone?
I think I am onto something here:
if the BT is switched on after I start the car, everything works perfect!
the only inconvinience now is switching BT on/off for each jorney (especially annoying during short trips with short stops - to the local shop, post office etc)
