New ROM for Qtek S200 WWE

I finally got my hands on the WWE version of the Swedish ROM that's been available for a couple of days. (The one lvsw used for his latest upgrade?)
It's now uploading to the ftp..

Emailed them since I'm swedish, but bought an english version, but the only updates I could get were in Swedish.
This made them post it to the qtek.se site, so yes it's from their site..

Could I ask you for a favour ?
I'm looking for a ROM which includes an IPL (version 2.15 or 2.20) I've only found one ROM so far (the dutch one on the FTP site) that contains an IPL version (old 2.10) could you ask the qtek.se site if they have an ROM containing and IPL update ?
It would help me building a complete update ROM

How I change the Rom Version 2.15.13.27, ExtRom 2.15.13.121, to a new Rom S200 2.20.7.114, I have a problem to change, [error294] INVALID VENDER ID.

- Decompress and run de exe file. Don't close your grey installing window.
- Locate the just created temporary directory, something like:
C:\Documents and settings\username\local config\temp\rarXX , or pftxx or the like (look by time/date, it's, something created one minute before your current time)
- Copy the full directory and contents to somewhere else in your PC.
- Close the still opened grey window
- get ROMUpdateUtility_NoID.exe from the forum, and copy to the directory you just moved to your pc
- from this "new" directory you copied in your PC, execute ROMUpdateUtility_NoID.exe
It worked for me. Good Luck

The extended rom of this rom is only swedish specifiq or does it have other mobile carriers defenitions from other countries????

For those of you that are uncertain about this new ROM. The installation did go fine, and with Sprite upgrade program I did not loose any files or programs in the process. Stable, and I have my Qtek splashscreen back!!
Please note that since not all S200's are S200's, I had to use the NoID utility to upgrade.

Faria WM6 with arabic support?

Hi All,
I upgraded my k-jam to WM6 (NBD 9.2) but when i try to install the arabizer files that came with the original iMate ROM it doesn't work. I googled n i came accross this http://www.ce4arab.com/vb7/showthread.php?t=84741 it says that there's a Faria from with arabic support but the link to the ROM is not working. Can someone point me to how i can i install the arabic files to k-jam with WM6 or point me to the arabic supported Faria ROM.

VOX Swiss ROM Update

I have just got my S710 from Switzerland. Actually i do not have any branding or SIM-Lock, except start-up and shutdown logos from ORANGE CH..I have 5 languages on my WM6 (German, French, US-English, UK-English and Italian).
Here my device info:
CPU: TI OMAP850
Speed: 201Mhz
RAM: 64MB
FLASH: 128MB
ROM Version: 1.28.72.2
OPERATOR Version: 22.128.5.722
Display Resolution: 240x320
Color: 65536

Now I see there are new ROM files 1.34 version. Can I update my Vox with for example, RUU_Vox_HTC_WWE_1.34.405.1_4.1.13.54_03.10.90_Ship?
What kind of problems may occur after ROM update?

If you have qwertz keyboard then use german version of rom "RUU_Vox_HTC_GER_1.34.407.1_4.1.13.54_03.10.90_Ship.exe" It is here on ftp.
But I thing that you must use Vox USPL- CID BYPASS because it is Orange branded htc, you have instructions Sticky on top of VOX thread.

Yes I have QWERTZ Keyboard, but use my WM6 as US English.
A couple more question..
My WM6 Standard Build is 17745.0.2.3. If I update my ROM will it also update my WM6 Build to the latest one?
and will i lose any of pre-installed programs after update? like Windows Live Messenger, Adobe PDF LE?

this update include adobe pdf le and windows live. And you should be able to select English in the rom while still having your QWERTZ keyboard.
And yes it will update your OS version to the latest one

Thanks all the helps and informations. I have applied German ROM without any problems, just losing French and Italian on Phone, but not important at all
Now I have neutral HTC branding and no signature from Orange anymore.

I have an i-Mate SP5 no brand, buyed in Italy, with all his original CD-Rom (n.2).
I want to try some customized roms, but I don't want to lose the original WM5 rom because, in case, I want to restore it.
Where I can find this original rom?

I believe I-Mate has it on their website. If not, you can check on the XDA FTP. Look for "Ship ROM". If you don't know how to get to the FTP, go to the WiKi and you'll find instructions there. Good Luck

at 4pda you can find lot of Russian ROMs.
oops, i forgot.. Cotulla is Russian ROM maker (his roms run fine on G3 Uni's, on G4 broblems with flash disk)
