My O2 Orbit goes to the Today screen after it goes to the standby/backlight of mode. If im in a call or if I have a program running if I press the power button I see my active program for about half a second before it reverts back to the today screen. Any Ideas?

My 750v has these quirks
- when i want to put on standby by pressing red button, the screen goes away but lit after several seconds. No matter how may times I press it again it goes away and lit back again. Only when I soft reset, would the screen stay unlit when I press it.
- when I activate the Today screen the touchpad locked message appears. It takes a longer time for the message to go away when when I press the center button.
Mine is stock Palm ROM WM 6.0 from the corporate site. And I don't have a lot of apps on it.
Advise?
Turn your device brightness to 50% or above. It's a well known WM bug....

Hey guys, I started experiencing this weird problem yesterday. Basically, when the phone is turned on from sleep mode, whether I pushed the button to turn it back on, I get a phone call or text message, whatever...it doesn't show an image on the screen. I can see the screen itself light up (backlight or whatnot), but nothing else. Just a blank, black screen. It happens randomly. I've found that if I hold down the enter key on the d-pad, and turn the phone on, it works fine again.
Any clues, suggestions, advice?

You may want to try a program such as S2U2 and see if your phone will wake correctly.
So I've had my fuze a little over a year now, no major issues. Used mostly energyroms, but about December time I switched back to a simple non-bloated stock rom for the stability.
Anyway today at work I was texting, and I press the power button to put the phone in standby. And the screen remains on and usable. I tried again and it would not go into standby (power button physically feels normal, it does not feel loose or abnormal.) So i let it sit for a few minutes, then i look at it and a message poped up asking if i wanted to turn the phone off (like as if i was holding the power button)so i press no, then it comes up again a few seconds later and aagain and again. So I soft reset the phone.
The phone resets but takes a LOT longer at the att/htc splashscreen, then it hangs at the htc screen and does not make it to the wimo screen, but instead an error screen saying:
"The device is unable to boot because you have either turned off the device incorrectly or tried to install an applicationa from an untrusted source, press SEND to reset your device or press any other button to cancel..."
I think it went through the hard reset this time because when it restarted it asked to calibrate the screen and install stuff. it resets again sometime after that, still takes forever at the splash screen and comes back up to the error, only this time no matter what button i press it wont go away and boot into wimo. It seems like none of my buttons work (they wont light up now) when i slide out the keyboard, it is not lit up like normally.
And heres the kicker, my only way to turn on/off the phone is to take out/put in the battery. As soon as I pop the battery back in the fuze turns on. Is my phone toast? Ive tried to hard reset and the phone does not reach the bootloader, it goes straight to the splash screen. Same with trying to reflash it from my comp, raphealwrapper cannot find my phone.
I've only recently encountered the exact same problem on my Touch Pro, but stock ROM and everything. As far as I can tell, our power buttons are busted and probably need to be serviced. One of the contacts must be stuck in the 'on' position somewhere inside :\ As a temporary fix, I've been using AEButton Plus and remapped double tap end call key to turn the screen off, and removing the stylus to turn it on.
I have a HTC Tilt 2 and the backlight in my screen does not work. When I power the device on the backlight would come on and the screen would be working perfectly but when it goes in hibernation mode or i press the power button for it to go in hibernation mode the backlight would turnoff on the screen and would never come back on. at times after a numerous amount of button pushing it would come on and sometimes if i continuously slide it up and down it would come on. I thought it would be a software problem so i installed the rhodium ram on it and the problem still occurs. What can i do to fix this and why is this happening?

when I try to start the phone the following occur:
the display light turns on, shortly after that the phone emits that startup vibration, the backlight remains on for aprox. 85 seconds then the phone aparently shuts down. that meant, the backlight of the display turns off.
problem history:
I was at work and as usual i was listenin to music via handsfree. while my phone was in poket it seemed that somehow my poket pressed the sleep button and turned the screen up. no prob here. i got the phone out of ma poket. reverted the volume @ maximum and then locked the phone and turned the screen off and putted back in pocket. after some time i wanted to change the song. got out the phone, turned on the screen but nothink apeared except a horizontal line in the middle of the screen. I tried to shut down/up the screen but nothink apeared. after a couple of tries the screen turn on but it was unusual what i saw on it. I saw a sketch of the energy rom home screen with diferent colors.
Meantime i was tryng to get the screen outta sleep the music still played in the phones.
I thaugt that a reset will do but it didn't. got out the battery and got home. reasembled it, powerd up the phone and voila! the phone started up normaly. got out the battery, introduced the sim card. powerer up the phone but bad luck. the happiness was short lived. the problem camed back. another thing i noticed is that when i powwer on the phone i let it on but it wont output that energy rom bootup sound.
Can someone elude me with whats the problem with my phone?

UPDATE: LEFT IT OVERNIGHT WITHOUT THE BATTERY AND NOW ASSEMBLED BACK. IT'S WORKING BUT I THINK IF I GIVE A RESTART THE problem will come back.
