Hey guys... I recently bought an eten m700. I needed a Greek keyboard so I downloaded one... Paragons Sw or something... the thing is that the moment I installed it, the OS crashed and the only thing it does is showing a white screen... is there any way to undo that??
Any help would be appreciated!

Try to do a hard reset and then install tengo keyboard software.

thanks for the reply... I already did a hard reset (which was hard to find how to do, since no one is saying that after the power button/reset press you must hold down red key for about 15" and then it asks you what to do...). Anyway... i'll check out your keyboard. I've already installed Resco Keyboard Pro 4.35 which seems nice. Btw is there any chance the slide keyboard to use any other keyboards than the default?

I have tried to upgrade my i-mate jamin with pdviet 4.0.0.0.3a, and the only thing that seems doesn't work is the contacts. Does anyone has the same problem?

How to make a PROPER Hard Reset?
Method 1:
Press Camm & Comm button simultaniously. Keep them pressed.
Punch the little hole at the bottom with the stylus for a second or two.
Release the stylus (keep the buttons pressed!)
A white text-message appears on a black screen, telling you to press the send button
press the green button(the one you press to make a call).
Now, release the Camm & Comm buttons
The message on the screen tells you some more about formatting.
Release every button, you are done!
The OS has been reinstalled on your phone (it's like formatting your hard drive and install a new Windows).
Method 2:
Open "Today => Settings => Clear Storage"
Enter "1234" as instructed
Hit "YES" in the bottom-bar

Well yeah.. I think I kinda screwed up in this stuff by flashing my HTC Touch Pro in the first place. Onwards to my problem.
Sins im from sweden, I have a swedish keyboard on my touch, the problem is that when i press and hold fn and then press 'p' there should instead appear a 'å' and 'o' results in 'ö'.
So, my question is the following: Is it somehow possible to enable this by installing something else or can i revert back to my old software.. Or am I completely ****ed?
Iw installed the Hard-spl and on top of that I installed DCS-Touch Pro - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=421609
I was abit hasty into all of this and shouldn't have done this in the first place, i guess i could just return it and ask for a software re-installation maybe.

i was working yesterday and my phone was in my pocket and was squished against my keys! the screen is cracked... but it isn't, i think its the touch censor screen or something as i can see the screen fine just with a crack in the middle... anyway i cant use the screen to touch
i am using wm 6.5 and i accidentlly pressed the lock button in the start menu and cant seem to get passed the wm6.5 slide2unlock screen!
i try'd a soft reset but it is there as soon as it turns on
i dont want to hard reset because i would need to use the screen calibration (plus i havnt backed up my contacts and have some important messages!)
it is really frustrating i try'd deleting the files in the windows directory but it says it is read only and i cant delete it!
and im a bit broke and cant afford a new screen!
could someone please help
i would very much appreciate it

I'm no expert in this field, but have tried to sync the phone and unlock it from there? raspberry tru connect is an excellent program and if your d pad still works you should be able to install it and use the mouse cursor to do what you need to.
I have also heard of booting in safe mode, although I have no experience in it, but I'm sure if you check the wiki of your device you should find an answer.
Hope one of these help.

Not that I know of because of the installation needed on the device. If the ROM you are installing does not have the setup features and are already calibrated then you can install the program like before and be good to go.

Sure thing. I should be flashing this weekend if not sooner. Trying to get a few programs to play nice together and not having any luck.
I'll let you know when I do and we'll see if it works and go from there.

hi friends, it's nice to see people helping each other on this website.
now i am in trouble. i am using htc touch. not sure which one, as there are so many touch phones available. it's not first generation touch. i bough it in Feb 2008.
it's on windows mobile, not sure on version. this phone's screen has normal opening lock where we enter some numbers to get into screen. this screen is forzen I am not able to click anywhere on screen - i mean it does not respond. i tried restarting phone, reset with red button and remove bettery for 2 days... nothing works... looks like the screen alignment is disturbed...
there is nothing major important in this phone, can somebody please suggest on how to reinstall OS or ROM(dont know what is this ROM thing) or anyother help?

If you can not access phone you are unable to change the registry. Have you tried performing a hard reset? Are you able to access bootloader?

Hi Fallen Spartan, I really appreciate that you wanna give me a hand of this problem.
Actually, I almost perform hardreset, (pressing the softkey and press reset using stylus) a grey screen show up to confirm but then I cancel it and I decide to go to this forum to find a better solution before I do a hardreset. Because I want to save my email dan especially SMS.
About Bootloader, I've never try it, could it do something to access my PDA's registry? Would you mind to explain me how?

Unfortunately if your device does not boot up your only option may be a hard reset or to flash another rom. I only asked about bootloader as you need to access it to flash a rom. What happens when you try to reboot?

My PDA is X1 with WM 6.1 (original ROM), after I press the power button it shows Sony Ericsson and Xperia Screen then it just get blank so I have to cut off the battery to turn it off. (normally Windows Mobile Screen)
Flash a ROM? doesn't that also unable to save my eMail and SMS, right?
Sorry if I am asking too much because I'm very new for something like this on PDA.

Yes flashing a rom is similar to a hard reset in that it wipes everything off your device and restore factory settings.
As I don't own a X1 I cannot comment if anything else could be done. But from what you say, it looks like a hard reset may be your only cure. For future reference, its always best to backup your device (contacts/emails/sms/settings etc etc) for instances like this
Okay I think the solution is only hard reset.
I'm sorry for the 2 threads because I am new member and I didn't read the rules.
Actually I posted 2 threads because yesterday I posted my problem in X1 discussion, but after a day waiting, there's no answer too. Besides, I really need my PDA back on early for my med college thing back.
