how is making a hard and a soft reset on Qtek S200 ? which button combination ?
Soft reset is just putting the stylus in the little hole. (It's like a reboot on a PC)
Hard reset (deletes all data and restores factory defaults) is done by holding power + camera + comm manager buttons while pressing reset.

Hi all,
Dialpad input is not available after I installed WWE rom on MDA compact II. Can anyone help me with this?
Also I am not able to hard reset the above mentioned gadget. I press pwr and reset and it simply resets.
Any ideas?

To hard reset, run Clear Storage in Settings>System or hold down the camera and voice buttons on the left side then push the reset button. Keep holding the 2 side buttons (not the reset as well) until your asked to reset by pressing send.
Hi, what do you mean by NOT AVALIABLE?
It is missing?
what kind of Rom is it? Is it a big storage WWE rom?
If it is the case, you will have to find the CAB file of dialpad in the extended rom.

OK, found it : Press the two softey (up to Windows and OK button) and reset.
im using duttys wm6.1 offical realease. it has been working great for a few months and allk of a sudden today it started turning itself on and old but it never loads past the att home screen. UNLESS if i hold the two soft keys it will load all the way to the today screen, stay there for about 1 minute and then reset it self again, it keeps resetting faster and faster after each time. ive tried numerous hard and soft resets. i dont know what to do. please help!

put it in boatloader by holding down the camera button and reseting and flash a new rom

that is a possibility .. if reflashing deosn't help (that is if u can as if soft reset key stuck it won't stay in bootloader) than take it in for service.

the soft reset key has to be stuck because it wont stay in boot laoder and as soon as i put the battery in the phone it starts resseting again, and if i try and do a hard reset the i only have to press the 2 soft keys not even the soft reset button. will they service it even if the rom has been changed?

Well as i see there is no one answering me the question....
I found my own solution:
Hard Reset:
On the 02 Orbit2, make sure the phone is powered on and then press AND HOLD the Windows and OK buttons down at the same time, THEN use your stylus to press AND RELEASE the reset button (while you CONTINUE to hold down the Windows and OK buttons). You should get a grey-ish/white screen explaining how to complete the hard reset or how to cancel the operation.
If you cannot see anything on your screen due to the OS being totally messed up (in other words, as long as it's not hardware failure), then you need to put your device into bootloader mode (4-color screen) so that you can flash the ROM (either what you already are using, or a newly cooked one - either way you need to have a ROM image file on your computer to complete the flashing process).
Bootloader Mode:
To enter bootloader mode, press AND HOLD the camera button and then press AND RELEASE the soft reset with your stylus. When the screen is showing the 4 color bands, plug in the USB cable between your computer and phone flash the ROM.

hi guys having problme on my xda zinc it has user lock i m trying to hardreset but not let me do it what to do?
To perform a hard reset, use the stylus to reach the reset button found besides the device's camera button. Keep the stylus on the reset button and press the Up Navigation button at the same time.
*Note: Hard resetting the device will cause the device to be reset back to its original default settings and all data will be lost
