Help: SPV M600 - JAMin, XDA Neo, S200 Software Upgrading

Hi guys,
Bit of a weird one this... my phone has been working perfectly normal for some 9 months now, but all of a sudden it has decided to play up when turning on the phone.
If I turn the phone on with battery power it hangs on the boot screen (which shows the version information) on doesn't get any further. If however, I boot with the USB cable plugged in (hence charging), the phone eventually comes ob after around 5-10 minutes!
I have tried installing a number of different ROMs (Qtek, Dopod etc.) but every ROM gives the same behaviour.
Would I be right in thinking that this is more than likely a hardware problem?
Thanks,
Stig.

if you experience the same behavior with different roms, it sounds like its an hardware problem indeed...
When the phone is on and running, do you have any problem ?

No problem when the phone finally comes on. Its certainly a weird one. I have since got it sorted via the insurance.

Recover HTC Touch Cruise

Hi!
I have a HTC touch Cruise for about one month now. Starting with last week it started to say that the "main battery is low, device will close" even if the battery is charged (even pluged in). I tried soft reset, battery out, hard reset, nothing. So I decided to reflash it. Now, it gets to the Windows start up screen but after I can hear the sound for turning off device, and the phone turns off for no reason and without a message.
The original language was french, and it was flashed with a english version and olipro spl.
Does anyone has a idea how I can recover my phone ? I have tried to load several roms, none of them worked.
Please help,
Thanks
I have the same 'Main battery is very low' problem on my TC, even when the battery is almost full. I have this issue on Bepe's ROM, ASerg's ROM and also on the official HTC WWE ROM.
It occurs frequently when I soft-reset. When it happens, I can only succesfully start my phone after completely charging it (LED turns green).
I think it must be a hardware problem in my TC. Switching the battery with another TC-battery did not fix it.
Can't you use your phone at all?
Seems like I got the same problem as you guys http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=402765
Any solution yet?
Is it the same on your side, that when you boot up with the Charger plugged in you don't get past the first splash?

[Q] Blackjack II White screen w startup & shutdown sounds

Hi all.
I'm here because a guy at work gave me his phone to fix.
He bought it off the street, unlocked, and it stopped working a couple days after.
From what I've read, whoever unlocked it messed it up so the screen only displays white, and I can hear sounds when it starts up and shuts down.
I have a data cable for it, so how do I fix it?
Can I just get a program to connect to the phone and reflash the rom, like on a router?
Or will this require disassembling the phone and replacing a chip?

battery voltage low

Hi:
I have a HTC sensation 4G. I really like the phone. However, about 3-4 months ago, my phone suddenly switched off. When I restarted my phone, it got stuck on the HTC logo and wouldn't go further and switch off. It would start again, show the white screen with the HTC logo and switch on again. It wouldn't go any further and kept doing so in a loop. I thought there could be 2 possible reasons for the same: 1.) software issue or 2.) Hardware issue. I was pretty sure it was not a software issue as I had not made any changes in the software. I took it to a HTC repair center. The repair charges they were asking were freakingly high (300$!!). I didn't get it repaired from them. However, they gave me the exact reason of the problem. They said that it was a hardware issue and often happens with the phones when battery of the phone is removed while the phone is running. If this is done multiple times, such an issue can arise. I had done it multiple times before the phone had stopped working. I then got the phone repaired from another shop paying a third of the price. He didn't give any guarantee if the phone works. But the phone started working after the repair.
Very recently though, I was using my camera and as soon as the flash came on, the flash light got stuck. The phone was, however, working. But I couldn't get the flash to switch off. So I thought of restarting my phone. The phone switched off and when it turned on, it had the same problem. It is stuck in a loop on the HTC logo screen. I think this could be a software problem. What can i do to repair it?
Another thing I want to mention is that I am unable to go even in the recovery. When I try to go in to the recovery, it switches off and shows the HTC screen again. On one occasion when I tried to go into recovery from the boot screen, it showed a message that the battery voltage is low, please change the battery immediately. So i thought it is a battery problem and I looked up on the internet to find a solution. Somewhere I read that sometimes the gold plated contact points on the battery get scratched and corrosion happens. One solution was to clean the corrosion and try again. I did but didn't work. Also, when I try to charge the phone (because the battery voltage is low), even if the phone is switched off, its starts up again automatically without pressing the power button. Then it keeps going in the loop.
I don't know what the problem exactly is. Do i need to change the battery? I am running official HTC ICS ROM. Please help me with a solution.
It will be of great help. Thank you!!

[Q] Acer Cloudmobile S500 Doesn't stop vibrating

Hi there,
I bought my ACER CLOUDPHONE S500 2 months ago.
Everyting worked fine, I didn't root the phone, nor did I try to. I used the phone for a coupple of weeks until yesterday, all of a sudden it started vibrating constanly. I pulled out the battery and memory card + sim and put only the battery back in. When the battery touches the contacts it starts vibrating again. So even when the phone isn't booted yet, it just start vibrating constantly without stopping.
Pulling out the battery and plugging in only the USB charger does the same (vibrating constantly).
I tried to restore factory defeaults but that doesn't help.
The phone works normally and can be booted (so no black screen or stuff) but just vibrates the whole time.
I normaly live in Belgium, but I'm on holiday in Thailand for 3 months, so I guess returning it back to the store isn't an option now.
I guess it's a hardware problem but if anybody has a sollution, it would be very welcome!
Is there an other way to stop the vibrating?
anybody has a clue?
I posted this yesterday, does anybody know what is wrong?
I guess it's a hardware problem as the vibrations start from the second I plug in a powersource (battery and/or USB-charger)
IS there any way I can stop the vibrations or is it more like a shortcircuit on the vibration part?
It gets very anoying having a constanly vibrating phone in my pants, I guess I'll could give the phone to my GF..
Hi, I never saw that kind of issue on the cloudmobile but I guess you'll be stuck until you can send it back to service. Seems to be hardware related...
Tought it would be a hardware problem... still 2,5 months to go in Thailand before I can turn it back...
Thans anyways!
Dead pixels?
About problems in this phone..
Did anyone note dead pixel on the screen? I read about a lot of users that have this problem...

Coolpad E501 will stuck at COOLPAD screen when charged on a tab charger, and more.

So,, first of all, hello everyone! I'm new, I'm not a device-proficient, and I'm in a problem with my phone.
This might get complicated.
So my problem starts just some days ago. When I am charging my phone with a tablet charger, it now stuck on the COOLPAD screen when plugged in. It bricked itself, but if I restart boot the phone it will turn on and goes normal, so I turn it off again then charge it with an appropriate charger. And it works and charges. Although that usually the tab charger didn't do this to my phone before.
But then.... That's just the start.
When I booted it on after charge fully and then turned off for some hours, it will boot, but no sound coming when booting on COOLPAD screen, which indicates a problem. The booting on the screen of that takes long, very long then when it's On, surprise surprise the wifi can't connect to any nets suddenly, Sim card cant be read (indicated as No Service) , SD card not detected as well(also indicated as No SD card) . Seems like a malfunction. I had experience the same before 5 months ago (and it goes semi-perma so I asked Coolpad center for software reinstall).
So what did I do? I restarted the phone through the Chinese recovery mode. Booted up right, and back to normal. But this happens just when I boot it on morning now. I am scared this might get worse and will completely bootloop or brick my phone in the future (just like the same problem I face some month ago).
So should I never turn my phone off again or is there a fix for this? Tried factory resetting it in the past, the problem just got even worse so I won't do it again the third time my phone is broken again after software reinstall again. Please help, can't really switch phone until able to find a very reasonable priced ones.:crying:
NOTE: Some day before, my Coolshow app got disabled by Play Store because of "danger" reasons. It is a system app that comes with Coolpad. I can't enable it again because the enable app isn't there, just a greyed out Disable button. I don't like to reset the preferences of apps because it'll make me need to set everything up again. Problem already occurring 3 days ago, till now.
