Some Please Help!

I tried to update my rom with a jester rom RUU-Prophet-G4-AKU2.2-2.20-2.47.21-Jester-r1.exe i wasn't sure if i had g4 or g3 but its a newer qtek. The install finished 100 percent but my phone is stuck on 3 colour bars red green and blue, it says IPL 2.09 and SPL 2.20.001 when i plug the USB it detects it and displays USB at the bottom
CAN SOMEONE HELP!

and during the update i get a red bar at 80% and it tells me that i have the wrong nk.nbf
What else can i do?! can someone suggest another rom or something else

Thanks for the help man! okay heres the scoop, i just tried a really old rom that used to work on my qtek s200 if you guys remember its this one: RUU_Prophet_2151327_21513121_021921_DOP_ASIA_WWE_S hip-NoVendorID.zip
The result of that was it got to 80% the bar turned red and then on the computer it told me that i had the wrong NBF file
What scares me is that this one actually used to work!
I just left the house for a while and i will try the above rom and then report back...
Does anyone have an idea why it keeps giving a red bar then saying i have the wrong NBF?...

I just tried the rom you suggested....i get a vendor id error. My qtek doesn't even know its a qtek anymore whats going on here, when i tried the above jester rom the installation completed is it possible it thinks its something else still?! please help
Also is there away to charge the phone while in the bootloader...it doesn't charge anymore and once my battery is done im stuck!

vendor is the person who sold it to you...
just get a no vendor id update tool on the ftp site under tool and replace the update tool from any rom you wanna try

Hi,
however im also new to upgrading etc but heve got some exprnc from forum, so what im going to suggest u may help.
Whatever u mentioned in ur first post, conclude that u had G3 prophet before flashing to Jester's -r1 for G4( it was ur unlucky mistake). Because Jesterz-r1 for G4 do not include ipl,( if u extract it using typho5.exe u find spl file with other OS,GSM,Splash etc but not ipl) thats y ur ipl remains unchanged after flashing, and ur spl changed. so for recovery first u get Jesterz -r1 for G3 from ftp and then try 2 alternative.
1)Extract Jesterz-r1-G3 using typho5 and get only OS, GSM, ExtRom portions
and dont select it ipl or spl files. After that make a fresh nk.nbf file using
nb2nbf_tornado.exe with OS,GSM and ExtRom files.(be cautious to use
nb2nbf_tornado.exe, if ur not aware of its correct use for prophet).
then flash ur device with newly created nk.nbf and Prophets RUU.
2)Just flash ur devce with Jesterz-r1-G3.
Im sure with first alternative, u wont damage ur device further, but i cant say about outcome of second alternative.

Can someone confirm if my prophet was a g3 or g4 prior to flash? and if flashing with a g3 rom will damage my prophet further.

Your IPL/SPL ends in .001 so that means you have a G4 prophet. I have no clue if flashing with a G3 ROM will be bad.. I'm assuming it will. But I'm just a fellow newb...

Dont confuse, U had G3 Prophet before upgrade and it will remain so. For ur other question, i'v PMed u answer.

problem with with 5._Underground_edition_Crossbow_ROM.exe

hi all,
I installed 5._Underground_edition_Crossbow_ROM.exe
on qtek 9100 for tmobile.
Before installing this rom I installed custom_ruu_wizard_1050412....... bin and unlocked CID and phone.Now after successfully installed 5._Underground_edition_Crossbow_ROM.exe, I cannot make a call and I cannot sync with active sync v4.5. What should I do? How do I make activesync work sothat I can try another ROM? Whenever I try to goto phone or activesync setup it gives me error "a problem has occured with device.exe".
Please help me out.....

my mistake was I didn't update my 9100 to 2.26 before updating to Crossbow.So looks like communication cab has been not installed.Is there any way my 9100 can communicate with Activesync?

u shd hv read the threads here and then updated it..to upgrade to wm6 underground edition u shd hv SPL greater than 2.xx..due to which GSM is not flashed as it has 2.47 version..u need to upgrade now to a rom which has SPL 2.xx and then do the underground edition

but how do I upgrade ? ,because when I connect usb cable to the phone nothing happend. i.e. activesync cannot start.

You should take time to read and search the forums. There are numerous posts with similar issues...
You need to get to the bootloader. Turn off your phone, then hold down the camera button while you turn it on, and you will be at the rainbow (bootloader) screen. Now you can flash.
Read the thread by Dr. P in the Wizard Upgrading forum. You have to follow every step exactly as it says (the last step is to upgrade to a 2.x official ROM).

Major help needed upgrading to WM6

Hello and good afternoon, I'm a beginner and i've read a whole lot and decided today i'd take the plung and upgrade my qtek9100 to wm6,current status of my phone=NOT WORKING(sorta).
Rom version = 1.1.7.5
Rom Date = 9/22/05
Radio version= 01.01.10
Protocol ver = 4.0.13.16
ExtROM Ver = 1.1.7.105
downloaded TNT 1437 Series Pro+home and i ran the upgrade (oh my phone was brought unlocked) all was going fine it went to 99% then exit with communication error, i followed the recovery info and tried again and again, then i tried 3 other ROMs and still the same error occurs, my phone is now stuck at the 3 color bars from the recovery process and it wont upgrade to wm6.. update i then downloaded XDA_Mobile_6_r2a_Lite and installed it and all went fine, the thing is this isnt a wm6 it's wm5 so i'm back to where i started.. can anyone please tell me what i've done wrong and how i should go about getting my phone upgraded to wm6, i actually want to use the TNT roms..

Wm6 Roms can only be upgraded if you have an IPL/SPL 2.xx,as I can see from your present Rom version 1.1.7.5,you must be having IPL/SPL 1.xx,therefore,it's not possible to upgrade to wm6,untill and unless you upgrade your phone to IPL/SPL 2.xx.
First flash T-mobile 2.26 to upgrade to 2.xx and then flash any wm6 rom.

be sure that unlock means both "cid and sim" unlock, because sometimes it is network unlocked only, you can use your device with different networks using different simcards, to flash a rom you need the device cid unlocked, read the guides

Hi , thanks for the reply, i must mention that my phone is a QTek 9100 please tell me if the T-mobile 2.26 will install on my phone. if it can please can u give me a download link to it.. I've been searching the site but i haven't found any..

Are u sure your phone is CID unlocked? use the wizard service tool to be sure. U can download the t-mobile ROM here: http://www.t-mobile.com/wmupgrade/ You need to have a t-mobile phone number. If u dont know any, PM me, and ill let u use mine, u dont have to pay, its just to make sure that ur a t-mobile customer.

XM6R2a is NOT wm5...if you "installed" it and you are still on wm5 then your phone is NOT cid unlocked which is probably what the communication error (302?) was trying to tell you in the first place. Follow the "how to flash a wizard" guides that are a sticky at the top of the forum.

Hey thanks to everyone who have been offering information, my progress so far, i've CID unlocked my phone and i reinstalled the pro+home wm6 and all is working, except i cant use my camera, cause i dont have enough memory as is replied by the os, i'm going to try the t-mobile updated as pointed out in a previous post.

Problem with flashing rom

Hi, i have a problem with my qtek 9100.
I want to install a touchflo rom with a cube, i have tryed with a lot of roms

to flash my wizard and unlock CDI and that worked fine, so i can install a rom.
Everythning has gone fine untill step G3.7, i have ipl/spl 1.01 when i trying to install "T-Mobile 2.26 rom" from the link: http://rapidshare.com/files/38880130/ruu_prodigy_226102_22610105_022511_tmous_wwe_ship.exe.html but an error message comes up after the instal has
reached 1% i think its "error 326: this NBF file can not be used for your PDA phone, please check your PDA file" and then the instal does not continiues.
i restart my PDA phone, then i came to the 3 colored mode again and my IPL is 1.01 and SPL is 2.26. What it wrong? how do i fix so i can install a wm6 touchlo rom? Most of all i want a swedish wm6 rom.
Please help, it would be so nice, i have serached on this forum for many days and many many hours and i have reinstalled the roms and begin from the beggining at the guide many many times but i cant find a sullution that works please help me.

i would flash back down to the button rom to get your ipl/spl back to 1.01, then try the Xda_MiniS_LaunchROM_v154102 that is listed in the guide if you havent already. were there any errors when you were doing the CID unlocking?
download the wizard service tool if you dont have it (Wizard Upgrading forum) and see what the CID Actions button says when you choose read CID block.

Edit: now i have installed the Xda_MiniS_LaunchROM_v154102 but i get stuck every time in the customization "installed signed_discobutton8.sa" i get stuck there, does it matter? Can i restart my PDA and it works as i schould do?

Now i have installed wizard service tool v4.2.1.. and it says that is CID unlocked and SIM unlocked. What do i do now to install wm6 touchflo with cube. I have download this rom: Artemis Touch 3.01 full. How should i do now?

2.03 TX WWE to Win Mobile 6.1

I want to upgrade my good old Magician from ROM 2.03 TX WWE to the new Windows Mobile 6.1. But it doesn´t work. Tried also to downgrade to 1.13 ROM (with no extended ROM) but had no success. Has anybody any idea what can i do to get 6.1 to work on the Magician? That would be great !!!

I have the same Problem. But it's not just that I can't upgrade to 6.1... I can't do anything. I tried to get different Roms on my Magician. The original Rom too...but nothing works. All that since I tried the 2.03TX Rom... The 2.03TX is working nice at the moment but I would prefer the original one or WM6.1 Please help!!!

I had no problem switching between tx and 6.1 - both directions.
The only thing I had to be aware of is the radio version. 2.03tx doesn't install it's own radio and last cotulla rom requires radio 1.12.

my O2 mini can't upgrade any WM6.1 ROM. It's 64MB RAM and 64MB flash.

Check following 3 points:
1. Make sure your device is a "Magician"
2. Make sure the downloaded ROM is one of Cotullas WM6.1 (O1 , O2 or O3)
3. Befor flashing make sure the Radio on the Magician is version 1.12

Yes, it is a Magician, the ROM is Cotulla´s 6.1 Beta 7 (03), and my Radio is 1.12. But my PC says no USB! A problem with Vista, perhaps?

Flashing the Magician on a Vista PC does not work, this is a very old stuff.
Use a PC with XP-Pro and everything will be fine.

I have xp, and many problems with connect magican to the pc in bootloader.
maybe i can change bootloader or reload it? where i can get some bootloader to the magican?

Maybe you have a problem with your PC, maybe you are doing wrong, or maybe your Magician is corrupted.
I don't know much about the bootloader, guess it is on his own chip and not changeable at this time, otherwhise it could be a part of the rom but i have never seen a Magician bootloader-file for itselfs.

try to change the usb port to another....
or make sure u have the newest activesync...

I try update on other magican, and was succesfuly. I think I cant update rom after instaling 2.03 tx that something was broken or its something wrong witch magicans software. I have this same model of magican ,and other rom, and I can flash it.

wiuh,my services i-mate jam dead after upgrading.
i got in bootloader mode n upgrade radio rom to 1.12 use this rom NL_11300_131_11200.exe.
i deleted nk.nbf, and ms_.nbf, so just radio.nbf
upgrade success!
then i try to upgrade with the same rom(NL_11300_131_11200.exe) without radio.nbf. fail it say error id country.ok then i try the other rom.

i deleted just radio.nbf,because i just want to upgrade the rom.
at ext rom upgrade it success.but when maybe about 30% uprade rom,it fail. and say error.i forgot the error.
and my i-mate dead. :'(
if i put usb cable n open the back case(baterai still in side or not) the lamp red is on.
but when i closed the back case.it turned off.
nothing happen,no indicated the pda was still connected.activesync has no sound.usb on device manager didnt indicated there was a pda connection.
so??
what must i do now?

i Have flash my jam with 2.03 TX WWE and then downgrade to original i mat jam
after a month i flashed it again and can't downgrade or upgrade or do anything for 1 1/2 year
i tray many things like sd flash and many roms but it didn't work
may be Mr.Cotulla have a solution for it or any one have it share it to us
the only thing we can made is to inter the boot loader mode
