I feel so happy I could dance.
Oh and I'm guessing someone from this community will write a reg-hack to enable it before HTC do!
In fact, this reminds me of the time the HTC Wizard was shipped with 802.11g disabled.
This isnt directly confirmed, as theres a link in the TyTN upgrading forum pointing to another source saying the claims are bogus.
two things to consider
1. Why would HTC release two GPS devices to compete with each others?
2. What sort of message would HTC be sending, given its only just taken its first steps directly into the market, to release an unfinished product?
If it is true then the P3600 is going to be one hot seller, especially that black possible finger print magnet version, but im skeptical at this stage.
All I remember is back when it was revealed the next few HTC phones were to be Artemis, Trinity etc, it was mentioned the Trinity would have a GPS unit.
I don't see them competing since one's a higher-spec model but obviously more expensive. I guess they have to create a cellphone for everyone's budget.
Still, I'm hopeful and I wouldn't be surprised if the disabled-GPS claim is true because they did release phones with G-mode Wifi disabled even though they were supposed to have them out-of-the-box.
i have no real need for gps but i know for a fact the day i do get one is the day where the following day gallieo will take off and stuff it to me how much better it is then gps
You gotta love those people holding back technology with comments like that; "I don't need a faster computer", "I don't need a phone with more features". Awesome. I just hope no-one from HTC reads his comments!
See I would be inclined to agree with you if the models were in a different price league, but look on: www.expansys.com / .co.uk. Both models only have a 50 pound price difference. So they are not really in different leagues, I cant see too many people not paying the extra $50 to get a nicer unit with 3G/HSDPA and whilst its debatable alot would weigh up an OMAP 200mhz versus the Intel one and side with the faster intel one, so HTC would really be shooting themselves in the foot in those regards.
But hey over the coming weeks I guess we will find out
I wouldn't rely on expansys.com's pricing, they've listed TyTN for even more than the Trinity.
I think that Artemis being slimmer may also be a factor (at least it looks that way in the photos).
You're right, I guess we will find out in the months to come.
Hi to everyone, I bought one HTC P3600 last monday, so, how can i verify if it has GPS and Wifi b/g activated???
if you need more info, please ask

Hello All,
Which is the best between these 2 machines? What are the main differences? Please help....
I have a choice of these 2 PDA's and have no idea which to choose....
Many thanks.
Jimmy
One vote for Universal
407,592 votes for the Hermes
So far from my experience with both the Hermes has been the easiest to work with in terms of size and suitability for use as a primary phone.
EDIT:: Check the wiki pages for the main differences.....take into account the sizes however.
It all depends on whether you really need the VGA screen. If you don't, go for the Hermes.
Well I couldnt let the Universal go... I picked one up off Ebay for £45.
It was an old couple who had received it as an upgrade and didnt want it... It is in perfect condition, and has a 2GB SD Card.....
I have just got to learn how to use it now...
I have posted this somewhere else on this forum, but can anyone tell me about the GPRS? I need to ensure that I don't use this feature on the phone, otherwise I will get a massive bill....... Wifi is free and is almost everywhere so I can use this. Can the GPRS be turned off, or does it need this to work at all.... If it cannot be turned off, how do I make sure that I dont use it, and only wifi or the normal GSM...
Once again.. Many thanks... And I am a total beginner to PDA's and the likes.. So be gentle..
Enjoy your Universal! It's been my first cellphone ever and even until today one of the most sophisticated handhelds ever produced in my view. It misses a few things like builtin GPS, HSDPA (normal 3G is quite ok though), a 3D chip (purely optional at least for me) and the RAM is a bit on the skimpy side. But there's still one of the best hardware keyboards I've seen and the VGA screen that always made me wonder how anybody can still use QVGA (and how HTC didn't make the switch a long time ago). So many things (from PDFs over ebooks to webpages) are totally unusable with QVGA and only performance reasons are speaking for this resolution.
Apart from that swivel format was and is probably not the best choice. In the beginning there were lots of programs that totally didn't get along with the inverted screen (or the landscape factor) and even now that that is fixed the hinge sure is one of the weak points of this device. And while I haven't managed to break mine so far it sure is not as sturdy anymore as it used to be. What's more is that the Uni definitely is one bulky device, but I actually never minded when people stared incredulously at me holding "the brick" to my ear ;-) With a 4.800 mAh battery attached it's beyond good and evil anyway...
I just realized how many weak points I mentioned and how I actually couldn't care less about them. The Universal always seemed a bit like a case study and an experiment and it might very well end up being a one of it's kind in HTCs lineup if the Omni proved indeed to be vaporware. But like all good things it just gets better and better (I'm pretty sure that it is the perfect candidate for an early Android release as well) as time passes and I can hardly imagine myself replacing the little bugger before it has lived through its third year. So once again, have fun starting out with one of the greatest and most prominent WM phones on the market!
ok price is not an opition as long a its below 600 us dollars.
Im am looking at buying one of these:
HTC Advantage x7501
HTC Kaiser(the one with video calling)
XDA Flame (maybe)
Right now i want a device with at least 400mhz or higher and some kind of video chip. So kaiser is a maybe because of the acceleration driver missing and VGA, 3G, and GPS is a plus
If you have other devices even if old please post suggestions.
I have a HTC wizard and typhoon so i need to update to a faster and newer looking device
Thanks
Thanks everyone for your help use this thread for device discussion if you wish or mods delete
My son has a Kaiser, Awesome. The GPS works great with TOMTOM
I personal use the Kaiser, (AT&T's version) I don't mind it because I don't even watch videos on mine, so the driver don't really matter to me, and I love it.
My girlfriends use the Touch Dual, I really like the form factor, and for some reason, the touch screen feels more solid. It's a hard plastic piece. The only thing is that its missing WiFi.
GPS is a must, not for directions, but I love for Windows Live Search, Turn-by-Turn directions is not so great even with third party software. I believe my car's GPS is alot faster and accurate.
thanks im looking to buying then a kaiser even a att one if i dont find a cheaper one with the camera in the front.(i just want to stand out from the rest)
for the x7500 i lost my chance to get it for less then 600 and only see x7501 above 700
the flame does not have gps
but started to look at the i-mate spl looks cool but limited
i will sell you my kaiser if you want a cheaper one? its slightly marked but i can forward some pics if you like.will do it for £200 (about $400) its not locked at the min but i will get it unlocked for you before i ship it. I live in the UK but i assume that it will work over there. Let me know what you think
i'd suggest the HTC Touch Cruise very nice phone. not sure about WiFi, but has a 3 megapixel camer, GPS & 3G

The HTC Touch Cruise has wifi but i cant find one on ebay for less, but here they dont get them until feb 1st http://www.mobileplanet.com/d.aspx?i=159609
aye paypal would be be the best way. i will take some pics now, can you pm me your email address for me to send them to you?
got to go to school will check later my email
ok. i have emailed you all the pics
i am looking at a new phone too. I want to be able to move up to the sdhc standard, so I can put video on it.
I was eyeing the cruise, but there is something going on with the cruise. They keep pushing back the dates. Does this have something to do with the video driver and video playback on the kaiser?
I had the utmost faith on the xda forums gods....but now i have seen a 4k bounty to someone who can fix it, and the class action lawsuit post. I hate to say this, but shoot htc didn't even support wm5 on my ba, i have little faith they will fix the kaiser for the above issues...unless that is what is causing the delay of the cruiser.
Should i look at competitors? who are they? i found the eten glofish, are there others?
well i put my Kaiser on ebay now. but the deal still stands, if one you guys on here wants it then can have it for £200

Hi all,
Like Matt on ZDNet, I got a hold of the X7510. It's final hardware but not the final ROM (seems pretty close to final though). Here's the review: http://www.mobiletechreview.com/HTC-Advantage-X7510.htm .
Personally, I wouldn't upgrade from the original Advantage since the improvements aren't that huge. And gamers will hate the lack of a joystick on the new version. But the flash drive is nice-- better battery life and no fear of crashed heads. And Opera 9.5 is to die for!
Qualcom Chip Set
Hi Guys,
I've been waiting to see when the x7510 would be released on to the US market. At te weekend i read on one of our "sister" review sites that the x7510 has the chip set on board that is the subject of the patent dispute between Qualcom and Broadcom. Hence if correct, the x7510 will be subject to the current retail ban that the US courts imposed on all products with that chip set. Have any of you guys heard anything similar and can confirm or deny?
If it's true, then perhaps that does not preclude some of the e-seller importers bring them in, but at what sort of cost premium?
rom dump?
Rory
It's true. HTC says they will not offer it in the US due to the Qualcomm dispute and injunction. Importers will surely offer it. At what sort of price premium? That will probably depend on demand and what folks are willing to pay.
Buy x7500 now or wait until x7510 is imported.
Hi again Guys,
Had this topic in my mind overnight so the first post looked perfect to add my comment to. I see now that the attached URL takes us all to the review that confirms what I had read - my post was not necessary - sorry about that.
May I ask for one piece of advice, however? I currently do not own an Advantage of any type. Given that the price you are suggesting is very comparable with the current pricing on x7500 and x7501, if you were in my shoes would you wait to buy the x7510 or jump in now with a x7500 purchase and upgrade it with AP 4.0?
Thanks
Rory,
Probably a good idea to wait until the final ROM is out-- which I imagine should be in a few weeks. The one I have mostly works very well but there are a few issues. For example, Bluetooth and WiFi step all over each other right now...

The 16 gig flash drive would lean me toward the 7510. However, if you're a d-pad/joystick person... say you like to play games... then the original version would be a better choice. Opera 9.5 is really great and a leap forward from the version on the X7500, but sooner or later that will be available for sale for all WinMo devices.

Thank you for your comments
Great comments - I think that I'll wait. I'm not planning to buy it for the games potential - rather the opportunity to genuinely leave my laptop behind when I travel and still have much of operability and connectivity that an air card equipped notebook affords.
I plan to retain my HTC TyTN and swop the sim card between the two as the need arises.
As far as seeking out the likely genuine importers to buy from, I'm constantly reviewing "HTC Advantage x7510" on the Google shopping link. There is already an abundance of sellers out there professing to have the product when they really do not. Do you have any suggestions on how to spot the genuine importer's offering when it appears? Is there a better way than the Google route?
Thanks again.

Not just the gamers need the buttons. If you prefer to use it tablet style without the hassle of the keyboard, then the joystick, ok buttons, and internet explorer buttons etc are very necessary. When using the email for example, the joystick lets you move from mail to mail and from account to account while the ok buttons lets you move from mail to the list of mail screen speedily. Similarly, for MP3 players, you could use it to move from song to song, change volume, pause, etc without having to take it out of the belt pouch. If you intend to use it notebook style, then the missing buttons should not bother you, as you could do the same with the keyboard, except when playing some games of course.
x7500 vs x7510
So would your recommendation be buy the x7500 and upgrade it with AP 4.0? I'm thinking x7500 rather than x7501 simply because the front camera might be useful o/seas or in US one day.
Can you confirm whether x7500 supported SDHC - I did read one review suggesting that it did not whereas x7501 did? Other reviews indicate that it does, so some confusion here. Also is there anything of consequence when comparing USB x7500 vs x7510? Is it a case of ver 1.1 vs. ver 2.0 or are they both the same. Does this have any implications on using an external flash drive with the product?
Finally I know we are taking about double the size in HDD but how much of an advantage is a flash drive vs hard drive in your opinion?
Thanks guys again for helping me out here.
I myself will be purchasing one too. As of now I am leaning towards the X7510 because of it's keyboard and 16GB SSD, not to mention that the current price difference of the X7500 and X7510 is only $100 to $200. To me, if the difference is $300 to $400, then I would have definitely already bought the X7500. But at such a close price, I can't reason out to myself, why I would lean towards a year old device. I own a Universal, so I plan to use the X7510 mainly in clamshell mode as I am already used to it.
I'd stick with the 7500/7501. Domes membrane keyboards aren't as nice as real keys, and eventually the plastic tops will crack. The lack of 4-way and other buttons on the main unit is a real head-scratcher. As someone already mentioned, when using the unit as a tablet (I use it both ways) those extras are a real help in navigation everywhere.
pdagal - do you know if the new vibrating haptic feedback is based on something in the main unit, or the keyboard itself? If its in the main unit maybe they can finally offer vibrating ring as a (much needed) feature.....

just on the keyboard.
< rant >
What morons (HTC). From a market perspective the new Advantage only fixes one of the few - but large - problems the original had (delete HD, add SDD), then they created a new one by taking away the extra buttons & 4-way.
And then one of the glaring omissions that doesn't make it competitive on the market, the lack of vibrate alert, they sort-of fix by adding it to the keyboard but not to the main unit. Now with no HD there was no reason to omit a vibrate motor. Especially if the insides are essentially the same, since there is a space for the motor already there!
I love my 7501 and it will probably be years before I move on to something else, they almost got it that perfect. I just don't understand their redesign review process. Heck, some of the threads I saw around here 6 months ago would have completed the first step - finding out from the user what could be improved. How many people here said "give me vibrate", "give me VGA support from the factory", "let me talk on it like a normal phone". We put up with those faults with work-arounds we found here on XDA. Imagine what the non-techie says when they are comparing models on the open market? "What, no vibrate and I must use a bluetooth after spending $$$$$?" They move on to Nokia, fewer units are sold, and eventually the 75xx line is discontinued.
< /rant >
To be honest, I don't believe any of the designers of the Advantage are actual users and owners of one, otherwise they could have done a better job. Secondly, they already lost big time by doing it this way, because if I am a current owner of an X7500 or X7501, I wouldn't upgrade my device especially with little difference between the new and older model.
Actually I was hoping that the price of the X7500 to go down once the new one is released, hopefully...
---
Let's me try a different spin on this
I am currently an owner of the X7500 with AP4 on it. AP 4 did bring my device to a new erra and I love it even more than before. I could only imagine what AP 5 will do with additional functionality.
The X7500 and X7501 has an issue with the Micro drive disappearing and unreliable. So that is 8 GB that I can't use and I am using my SD Card for everything. AP 4 took away some internal storage and program memory, nothing that affect me greatly because the device has a lot of them. The AP team is great at pushing the devices beyond their limits and this was needed in order to deliver some of the functionality of the X7510 to X7500 and X7501 (Go AP Team).
Okay, I did not have the Micro Drive issue and until I dropped my device recently. So I was one of the lucky few for while. If something else happens to the device and I end up needing another device, would I get another X7500, X7501 or the X7510?
I was spoiled with the 5 inch screen and I love the capability of the Athena. I will find it very hard to get anything less than 3.5 inch screen as my main device. Most of the PPC now these days are 2.8 inch and I realize very quickly after I got the Athena that 2.8 does not meet my requirements any more and I would not have known this without getting something better. I am saying this because most people who never had or had the Athena for short period of time (few weeks), do not know what their are missing. There also a limited few where the Athena was not the device for them.
Anyway enough about praising the Athena, what would I get I needed a new device? I would get the 7510 because it is newer device and I love technology changes. Newer does not always mean better, however it does mean different and also an opportunity to see new things (like how can i use it well enough without the joystick, etc...).
Hey, 10 to 15 years ago a lot people did not like PPCs or smartphone because they were too complicated with too many features that they would not use. Now theses days practically everyone has a smart mobile device (blackberry, pocket pc, smartphone, etc...).
So yes, I would get the 7510 in a heartbeat without thinking twice.
Updated Review with Video
Here's a new review: http://blogs.zdnet.com/mobile-gadgeteer/?p=1113
Here's`another: http://www.digitalburn.com/index.php/2008/05/21/review-of-htcs-x7510-advantage/

Thanks for the update review and videos. After looking at the video and zdnet review, I am not sure I will still consider buying the 7510. AP Team will probably provide all of the functionality and plus more on the 7500 and 7501. It would be nice if someone offered a replacement flash drive for the micro drive.
This scares me:
Lastly, on two occasions I had to reformat the internal 16GB flash drive because something had gone wrong, and in both cases I lost files that had been stored there.

I just got my t32+ daxian x999+ today and I'm trying to find out how to turn on touchFLO its not on and I don't see it in settings how do I turn it on ?
With your thumb, make a upward action on the screen.
Kind of like scrolling up from the very bottom of the screen to the top.
Ie. Place finger/thumb below screen (black area) and drag upwards. This will make the touchflow interface come up.
umm
this thread seemed the most general of the general discussions.
Intending to buy a daxian x999 (aka t32gw). Anyone know of anything in specific I should watch out for? this is the the one and that's where I'm buying from. I know the pictures are showing a basic t32 without the internal gps, but they specify internal gps in the specs so I am going to take it on faith that it has got it.
Buying it because of arthritis... can't use small keyboards on phones anymore, any apps you would recommend... e.g large icon touch keyboard or such.
You are really going to buy a phone that has 126/64m memory, a 200mhz processor, qvga screen, and 2mp camera? In 2009? For $300? Really?
I love these nuggets from the product page:
"EVERY THING CAN ROTATE crazy phone " guess that means they pre-install FlipIt
my favorite:
"By the way, Also noticed that the GPS only works when the phone is turned upside down...I guess do to the location of the GPS chip and the metal battery cover."
Riiighhhhtt. Let me now how that touch flo 3d on QVGA screen and a 200mhz processor works out for ya
Of course it isn't actually TF3D, just some crapgadget fake OS copied from the other fake HTC's that litter Chinese flea markets and are usually about $25 new.
hmm
well that's a nice and comforting way to greet a newcomer. oh well
to comment on your comment: they might go for $25 on some fleamarket in china... the trip to china does not though. As for you other objections. let's see you write and compose flawless mandarin then. and YES I know it's a knockoff since it'd cost about five times as much otherwise. I considered the HTC Diamond 2 or the new android phone from htc. thing is that $500-$600 for one of those doesn't really feel all that enticing since it's got about five times more crap that I don't need and would never use.
The Daxian also has quite a lot of crap that I won't use, but it isn't quite as steep. Your opinions are your own and therefor valid but you might think about diplomacy when you meet a new member.
as for the ram and cpu of the daxian, well it's a phone not computer... anything I need more than that to do I got a laptop that's more than adequate.
I'm not trying to goad you or piss you off, I just wanted to point out that even though you might consider someone else an idiot it might not always be appropriate to be so obvious about it.
Djeeno, don't take it so personally. The fact is that there is some leeway between a crap knockoff phone (for $300, that is TOO MUCH) and a $500 HTC phone.
if you can get one of these running windows mobile for 25 i will buy it off of you for 40.

Djeeno,
First, I never called you an idiot, I wasn't trying to flame you and if I was too "cheeky" and offended you I apologize. However, I actually do read, write, and speak near flawless Mandarin, as you can see from the link in my signature I own and operate a Mandarin language school in China and I have an HSK level 9 certification. There are many, many people in China who can write flawless English. The extremely poor English in the add for that phone tells you something about the company that is selling it. They are fly-by-night and most likely manufacture garbage.
I've seen a lot of these phones around and I can tell you they are complete junk. While you may not think you need more than a 200mhz processor you are wrong, this phone will freeze, choke, crash, take about a minute to answer sometimes, etc. I can promise you the build quality is horrid as will be the camera, fake OS, signal reception, etc. I absolutely can buy this phone on the street here for $25. If they can sell them for that cheap what kind of quality parts do you think they are using? You can't use the GPS unless the phone is turned upside down? Does that not ring any alarm bells with you man?
This is a sub-$100 phone ANYWHERE in the world, and a piece of garbage. IF you are willing to spend $300, please do yourself a favor and check out some of great REAL windows mobile and HTC phones on www.handtec.co.uk I'm not affiliated just a happy customer. For the money that rip off place in Guangzhou is going to sting you for you could something real and nice that actually works and you can install apps on.
sorry... been a bit overworked lately and got a bit touchy. mea culpa
I checked out the link and found something, I looked at the E-ten m810.
that brought me to another site and I realized that I may have to up the price range a bit... now I stand with the choice of either the e-ten m810, the e-ten x800 or the MWg ZincII. and I can't choose. You seem to be more at home with this than I am so I am now asking for help.
As I posted earlier I am buying a touch screen phone because of my arthritis, but I would like the phone to have GPS and preferably be less than £250 (appx €300). which one of those I mentioned would you recommend? I found them at expansys.com
You really can't find a Touch Pro or Tytn II for under €300?
not from where I'm sitting no.
I have been unable to find one that goes for less than €300 including postage to sweden
edit: I've been unable to find ANY htc phone for less than £260 (which is €297 NOT counting postage)
Djeeno,
Huh, let me check around, there must be something in your range, you've got a fair bit of cash to spend...I'll post back in a few
Hi folks, you know the drill, my current phone (an HTC Mogul) is getting past it's usefulness and once more I find myself on a hunt to find a phone that has the most of what I do want and the least of what I don't, in other words the best compremise between the device of my dreams and what's actually avaliable.
Further to this I am limited in funds so not only can I not go out and purchase a brand new top of the line model, the device I do end up getting will hopefully last me for a long time (or at least longer then the 1yr I got out of my Mogul).
Perhaps I should start by looking at why my current phone just doesn't do it for me anymore?
1) No wireless - Ever since I flashed it to 6.5 I have had no wifi.
2) No 3.5mm plug - The HTC proprieity adapter hardly works half the time either.
3) OS - 6.5 WiMo flashed is pretty unstable, I regularly have to reset the device because it locks up or just won't work.
4) QVGA - probably the best I can afford, but I do a lot of reading on this and a higher res would be better for my eyes.
5) CDMA - I really need a quadband simcard capable phone.
So what do I want?
1) Wifi, bluetooth, GPS
2) 2mp camera or better
3) 6.5 Wimo native, preferably with duel boot capibility
4) 3.5 or 2.5mm audio output, or HTCusb that actually works!
5) Keyboard if possible (I really like the qwerty thumboard on my Mogul)
6) WVGA or VGA would be nice, but it might be out of my price point.
7) GSM QUADBAND!
Any reccomendations of models would be nice, thankyou
Go for Rhodium!
Definitely the best hardware device out there
If want to spent less money you can try Rapahel or even less (if you find someone who want to sell) Universal
Thanks for the recc, I will check those two out
I agree with ORB you should go for a Rapahel because it has so many roms to flash and it is cheap compared to the latest devices .

Hmm, looking at ebay, the Rhod looks like its about $100 more then the Raph
or $300 for the Touch2 and $210 for the Raph.
At those prices it seems like it would be better just to pay the difference?
Also no one will ship to New Zealand
Yes on that case better go for Rhodium
I have seen ebay sellers who ships to almost any part of the world.
Also have a look on marketplace section, you can find very good deals
Good luck,
UPDATE: I bought myself a HTC Rhodium, very happy with it.
Now, I want to buy my GF a new phone for her birthday. Currenty she is using my ****ty old Blue Angel with WiMo 6.1
She uses the phone everyday (carries it around in her bag), but the only thing she does on it is read. She sometimes sends text messages, but usually not. She hasn't really used any of its other features or installed her own programs or anything (she is a programmer, so she does have the skills to do so).
At the moment I'm tossing up between a HTC Diamond, Diamond 2, Touch HD and another Rhodium. I'm leaning more toward the Diamond1 though. We generally try to avoid spending lots and she's more then happy with the PDA2k so even the diamond is a big upgrade and isn't too expensive.
I use my Rhodium to read alot of comics, but at 480x640 the screen should be highres enough to be an improvement. The other reason I'm leaning toward the Diamond is because of it's small size, and easier for her to carry around.
So, my question: Is there anything wrong with the Diamond that I should consider, and are there any other devices with VGA or better resolution in a similar price range that I should take a look?
Also what is the difference between the Touch Pro and the Diamond (besides the keyboard)?
If you need keyboard go for Raphael, if you don´t need it go for Diamond 2, I buyed one in marketplace for 180US a few months ago.
Or take another Rhodium
Why the recommendations for Rapheal? I am ready to put mine through a wall. The keyboard has gone flaky in the last three months...(delete requires holding down, not just press, P has started to not work, space now triple spaces)
In addition the screen started to separate over the 'x' button about two months back, now I hve that leaky black spot you get when screens break. The control pad at bottom has started to have the plastic cover start to come up.
In the last month the phone has decided to start dropping calls and even losing towers completely. (I have not changed anything on phone in over 6 months) I have rebooted the phone at least 10 times in last three weeks because of screen starting lock up, non-responsive push buttons, and complete lost of tower without attempting to reaquire.
This phone is going tits-up recently and I have had it locked to Edge forever because it will not hold a 3G signal in a very large city.
Not a recommend from me.
Thanks for the reccomendatiom - and the non recccomendation ^_^;
(silly extra text because my message was too short)
Ok, at this stage I am leaning toward the HTC Touch. The touch is fatter, but it looks like it has a lot more memory which has surely got to result in a better user experiance. It's about the same price as a diamond as well - I just have to find someone on here to sell a raphael to me.
I have a moderately worn Tmo Touch Pro 2 I'm selling off on ebay later today. Only doing a 3 day auction starting at $0.99. If interested I'll post a link. Pics are great of the scratches so you can probably grab it for $125-$150.
a link sounds good

Oh how I remember my HTC Touch days. That phone & the Mogul were a nightmare for many of us & we couldn't get rid of it fast enough.

What where the main issues you had with it?
I've just upgraded from my mogul to the touch2, and the main issue I had with the mogul was the low res and slow processor compared to the touch 2, but overall it was a good phone.
NEED ANDROID PHONE WITH Qwerty keyboard
I'm looking for a new phone to replace my aging G1 but I dont want to give up the real keyboard. The mytouch slide is nice but it's hardware isn't on par with nexus one or htc incredible. The new Samsung Galaxy S Pro with sprint seems promising but not so sure about community support. I love how with my G1 I have so many options, so many great ROMs from Cyanogen and others on XDA. I'm worried that If I go with a samsung I will have better hardware but very few choices when it comes to moded roms. Is there an alternative phone out there with hardware on par with the latest HTC phones that have a slide out keyboard. Any one care to offer thier opinions??
whats your budget?
android or wimo?
