Has vodafone really removed messenger from the 1605? I can't find it on the start menu and there doesn't appear to be an exe in the windows directory (apologies in advance if I'm being really dumb and it's somewhere obvious!)
Also, does anyone know of a messenger client that supports video too (ie. you could send webcam from your phone to a friend on a computer signed in with messenger on their desktop)

Did AT&T remove the direct push for Hotmail, as well as removing the normal messenger?

Does anyone know if the original windows messenger here charges text messages or data usage to use? I believe the AT&T version is text messages, hoping this one is data.

this one is definitely data. I don't know of any Pocket PC messenger that charged per text, though I know the original messenger was also data (and practically useless.)

I've upgraded the Treo 750v (Vodafone) into Windows Mobile 6.
I can use the Windows Live email without any problem at all, and so if I sign-in with the Messenger built-in.
But everytime after I sign-in into Messenger and tried to add a new contact, the Messenger just won't do anything even though I've entered the correct email address.
For example: I wrote "[email protected]" and cilck the 'Ok" button, nothing happen and the screen still at the add new contact window.
If I wrote 'somone_name" (without @hotmail.com), Messenger could say that was not the correct email address...
What gives? Is something wrong with my Messenger?
For further informations, I've already put the email address I wish to add into every contacts name in the Windows Mobile contacts phonebook...
Anyone can help me out?

Hello guy, i've installed WLM in my kaiser but when i try to go online i receive the message "all your windows live contacs will be added to your SIM or Phone Contact list".
In the past i've found a WLM CAB that work without this terrible feature. Anyone can help me. I've about 100 people contact in MSN adn i won't add in my phone contact list.

new user here ! with its first problem that i couldnt find the answer with the search function ! ;p hope anyone can help me.
i'm trying to install windows live messenger cab file to my blackjack (it already has an IM at&t version installed)
whats weird is that the installed messenger app simply doesnt start and windows live hangs in a weird page that has live search and text saying log in to windows live.
the reason im trying to manually install it is that the at&t version of msn charges each sms as a text message.. even though im connecting to msn and chatting with computer users.
