I have a problem with my qtek 9000, every time i try to change a theme from the today settings screen, it just simply doesnt change, the little busy circle spins as if its doing something and then goes, and it just stays on the default blue windows theme, why wont it let me change to another theme, someone please help.

i HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. Its unbelievably annoying. when I hard reset my phone, the theme will change. WHen I restore, it wont. Looked through the registry and found the string regarding the theme. Changed it, but nothing worked. Anybody have an idea to help?
A fix for it!
Okay, so, after two moths of searching, I figured out how to fix it. use the program SKtools, You can go and change everything about the colors and theme of the computer, regardless of OS. anyway... thought you'd like to know.

i was installing this new wadv skin and suddenly when i rebooted i noticed by fonts dissaperaed!
i can see my today screen fonts however my system fonts are gone.
so wierd i tried ressetting and they dint come back.
i cant read any thing lthough the icons do appear.
i also tried going to safe mode using pocket plus 3 and still the same results!

guys i think i noticed that the fonts dint disappear but ay have apparently turned white. i cant really go through the menus and cant use regedit coz every thing is whited out.
any ideas please help
same think happen to me.... sounds like a virus... my icons appear... but there are no fonts... so too are my sms.... I Can't read anything... its gone.. any other programs also has the same effect, I virtually can't do anything....
to make matters worse, nothing happens when I try to open contacts or calendar or the phone function...
I can't get any network signal, its blocked out too....
in desperation now and I can't seem to have any hits of people having this problem and offering a solution for this.....
How do I get my way round this?....
Ok, look, I've searched and scoured and repeated until I'm pissed beyond belief. My NATF Manila2D ROM was boogying right along just freaking fine until I installed KaiserTweak and now it's all effed to Hell and back.
SOMEONE EXPLAIN?!
Sorry to be so ill but I've noticed it's happened with NUMEROUS Manila2D ROMs and it's pissing me off to constantly have to reflash (I didnt really realize that was the issue until now.)
Basically, I install KaiserTweak, OPEN KaiserTweak, CLOSE KaiserTweak (doesnt matter if ANY changes are made by the user, ie me) then soft reset. Upon reboot, the p.o.s TouchFlo engages and the BOOM! I get the lovely Black Screen of Death: PPC Edition. Once TouchFlo loads, it shows the Message tab but WITH NO FREAKING OTHER TABS!! *fumes*
It shows a pretty black blankness where the Manila interface should be and "All Messages" and "Menu" where the soft keys aught to be.
I'm bloody sick and tired of reflashing my stuff. *seriously pissed*
The easiest thing is to just NOT install KaiserTweak BUT I would like to know any way AROUND this cursed p.o.s. conflict.
I've attached a screen shot of the issue. Maybe a picture will help clarify why I'm so ill.

P.S. Forgive me if it's some simple tweak I have to engage to fix this. I've just tried everything that I know and I'm really just ill that I've sat here and fought with this thing to no avail...Thanks again, folks.
False Alarm! =D
Ok, sorry for the freak out. Pretty much I uninstalled every customization tool I had (even though everything was cool until KaiserTweak effed it up) and now it's back to normal =]
If anyone has any ideas as to what setting is actually corrupting my interface (as no one else seems to be having this issue or at least not reporting it) then letting me know would be greatly appreciated. I love my customization tools but not if they're gonna conflict and break my phone =[
Btw, NATF has some of the best ROMs IMHO =D
Going back to loving my ROM now lol

One More Piece of Info for the Road
So I just went back and I figured out that if I take the Messaging tab off in the Tab Settings that everything is ok but if I put it in (which I really dont have to have so it's ok, would be nice though) then it effs it back up to that black screen that I originally freaked about.
Like I said, everything was ok until KT. =[
Maybe that weirdness will help.

This is really not a big deal - just a minor visualization bug.
Has anybody else noticed that the Full QWERTY SIP's font sometimes randomly changes from the normal Sans Serif font (like Tahoma) to a Serif font (like Courier)?
I can't figure out what causes it. Sometimes when I soft reset it's one, sometimes it's the other. Sometimes going into an app like Opera will change it from one to the other and sometimes it won't. I cannot figure out anything consistent...
It doesn't affect the performance of the device. I'm mainly just curious what's going on...
I'm using a Sprint Touch Pro, stock ROM.

I'm glad I'm not the only one!
I did find that it depends on what apps I launch at start-up, so something is causing the font loading to crap out and it defaults to what must be the system courier font.
Since hard resetting last time, it happened a lot less, so something I had loaded was contributing. But it still did happen sometimes.
I also noticed that since upgrading Opera to one of the newer builds and removing Opera Pre-loader app from startup, that seemed to help too.
But honestly I don't have any 100% positive fix because it seems pretty fickle. I can say that it happens a LOT less than it used to.
Oh, PS... If an app crashes which causes a soft reset (basically WM's equivelent of BSOD) WM will go into safe mode (you can tell because cleartype will be off). When that happens, it will almost always use the ugly serif font. A soft reset will usually fix it at that point.
Anyway, no big fix, but some things do seem to mitigate the problem.

But I do have an issue...
I did a hard reset on my Omnia and installed TF2D. But I can't seem to get it to take up the whole screen. I have about an inch of dead empty space below the app. Basically it stops just above the volume keys. Anyone else see this? Any ideas on what I can do to make it expand more?

I think I may have at least figured out what's going on. Maybe some settings from other themes are hanging around and not being deleted before applying the new theme? For instance I also noticed that "am" by the time is not the same font as the time itself.
Also, looking in my Windows folder I have about 450 files with the names "hh_email..., hh_fw...", hh_hm...", etc. And about 216 in the Windows\ManilaGFX with similar naming. Is this normal. I did a hard reset last night. But maybe when I sync'ed it, it carried over some of the bad settings from before???
UPDATE: I think I'm going to have to Hard Reset it...again. I'm thinking that I have a couple issues going on here. I think that after I reset it last night, the sync copied over the bad files back into the Windows directory.
Now, I can copy the original HTChomesettings.xml into the Windows directory and it works. Kinda...but as soon as I use the M2DC program to switch themes, it messes everything up again. Not sure what's going on here. And no matter what I try now, I don't have any of the icons in my weather tab. This sucks.
Recently I had did a hard reset on my phone, to fix some error I had encountered while trying out some app. Unfortunatly, I forgot how to redo some changes I had previously made.
I was wondering if anyone could tell me where I can find a cab file to make the bottom bar on my Home screen transparent. [I have a Fuze, and using TF3D]. I did it once before I believe, but cannot remember if it was part of an app or not. I tried one thing from a forum on here, but it caused problems which I had to do the hard reset to clear up.
Found this myself.
Secondly, does anyone have a cab for a transparent glass clock? I tried one from the forum of the guy who made the landscape icons, but everything the minutes flipped, it showed another number behind it as it was doing so.
Any help? Anybody? Much appreciated.
