Microphone AGC problem..

In "Microphone AGC" under "settings"..
evertime i tap "enable" and soft reset it goes back to "disable"..
does this happened to you all also?.. or this is a hardware related?..

Mine does this too... Even after a power off...
Noticed after installing various flavors of WM6...
Don't remember if it had the same behaviour under WM5.

I get same problem with wm5 instead!
it should be a registry settings.

there was once a cabfile to do the fix.
i had it on every wm6 rom
and because only a few people use it - it is not fixed by default.
have a search on forum for agcfix
i will search my pc for the cab when i´m at home.

Yep , I'm on mUn aRTM , and I also have the same issue . Can't remember whether I had the issue on WM6 Underground , but certainly not when on WM5 ( atleast after the reg tweak ! )
I've tried the reg tweak on WM6 mUn aRTM , but to no avail ! Seems DWORD 0 / 1 means nothing to my wizard anymore !
Any suggestions ?

It only makes it possible to set AGC control to enable in start - settings - agc
It isn´t able by default in all WM6 roms

Don´t know - was a present from internet - long time ago.
Don´t even know where it got it from - but my PC is more a litter box than a downloadarchiev.

All it does is replace a patched EXE file.
MicrophoneAGC.exe to be specific.

First off thanks to MuN for baserom and keyboard, double_ofour for his great kitchen, Faria for his Camera, Anichillus for the Microphone fix, Mfrazz for his settings OEM package and help, and nottoosmart for a few fixes.
The loader does hang on 100 percent and the WM6 Splash screen for a while. It's normal nothing is wrong.
There is no Splash Screnns, IPL SPL OR GSM..So it should work for G4s
I think I may be the youngest chef on XDA..I'm only 15.

Nive to see lot of WM6 versions
I'm going to test it in my loved 9100, but my new Hermes is now my normal PDA... i've 9100 only for backup and hermes maintenance support. It's like a active/passive cluster

It is not a "setting home page question". If you would check this, you will see that some dll is missing. If flashed to your ROM because I thought it is the same then muns but with some fixes, among them the PIE fix. Thanks anyway, no problem

hey ant c, i think i found a little bug crawlin around in the rom. dont know if it is just me or what. i have set up to access my wireless router at home. when i go through the comm manager and turn on wlan it picks up and connects no problem but, if i activate wlan from the icon on the today screen i can only find all of my neighbors routers which are locked. mine is nowhere to be found. like i said, dont know if it just me but you might want to take a look.

How are u activeing it from the today screen? the plugin??

[08/07/10] **UPDATED** Large VGA HTC Home OEM & CAB

Hi all,
I've seen others looking for this here, and while looking for something else, found a large VGA HTC Home in an Athena AX7510 ROM. I've extracted it from the Athena's OEMAPPS package and created a separate package with the relevant registry entries.

Note 1 - CAB Updated 08/07/10 - fixed "single tab" issue with some ROMs.

I would be very happy to test it soon as someone can convert it in a .cab file
But I´ve tried a lot of ROM´s and several different htc home applications and always the same, when I recieve a call my UNI freezes imediatly.
I´ll wait for more comments

Hi sorry to ask, but too many information, how can i use wheather tab? nothing happens when I try to select my city. the rest of the buttons same problem.
Already read all the posts and links but, I have to say honestly I´m kinda lost...
Any help would be apreciated!
It´s the first htc home I can use wothout incomming calls freezing!!!

Weather (and contacts) should now be working correctly. Please try the new CAB in post #1.

If all icons are missing the likelihood is the CAB couldn't update your registry properly (it isn't "signed") -- it's working as stated on my ROM (based on Tomal V7.7) which has security checking disabled.

I took it from the Ahtena X7510 ROM, but as with ALL versions of HTC Home, it likely will use a large amount of memory.
(I'm looking into something else at the moment, so can't check).

Hmmmmm - I got the chance to test on a different ROM, and saw the same as you. HTC Home Customizer let me bring the other tabs back, and after a soft reset, it worked fine.
Let me know if you want HHC uploaded (I can't remember where I found it, sorry!).

Somehow I can't get it to work. It installs fine (along with HTC Home Customiser) but it doesn't show on my today screen when I select it, even after a soft reset :/ any ideas?

As I mentioned earlier, I see this too with a different ROM. On further investigation, it seems that the registry value HKLM\SOFTWARE\HTC\HTCHome\Tabsettings is being set to '1'.
*DELETING* this setting from the registry worked for me, and all the tabs appeared.
I'll see if I can see if there's something wrong with the CAB, and if so I'll fix it and re-upload, but you should be OK by making that registry change.

Manilla 2D in HTC Wizard

Has anyone installed the Manilla 2D in HTC Wizard running a Windows Mobile 5?
I tried installing it in mine and after the restart, the HTC Home plugin vanished altogether and there was nothing else.
On checking the Today items, there was no Touch Flo listed nor the HTC home plugin I was using earlier was listed.
A quick check in the registry showed the entries for Touch Flo (and also for the vanished HTC home) present under the Today registry entries.
Does this thing work on WM5 at all?
Am I missing something?
NOTE: I also installed the shared dll cab file.

dude the manilla 2d post is right here, it's still in development and needs so many windows mobile 6 and htc components from it running smoothly that it dosen't even work on wm6 that great good luck with the wm5 mabe the guys will be able to develop one for you

This is now a Wizard thread.
Well here's what i'll be testing this weekend.
As i placed the new shared dll's into the rom i got no double file notice while using build OS.
So that means the files weren't there to begin with.
Which propalby means it's missing some registry entries to those files (besides the ones in the RGU file)
So that's the first thing to try.
After that it's comparing and comparing.
Volume did not work Start menu and Title bar did work.
Nice kitchen by the way makes a fast little rom so J.VD. Great simple Oem Pack, it's been two years since i cooked myself my own wizard.
No let's see if there's still some of the old Wizard Folk checking this forum, that have now turned cook that also want to return home.

I have decided tonight to finish why i studied Cooking.
I Will Come home to finally cook a wizard ROM, and hopefully i will get a of the SPC crew along.
But i will need a little help, i've been spoiled not needing an Ext Rom anymore on the Elves, luckily i know how to use the search function

Really need to do some reading up first.
I'm thinking of using the Ext Rom a little bit differently.
Like move Some of the Skin files that don't need to be there.
Haven't seen that been done before

As for M2D at the moment, i would not bet on it. (don't want to set impossible standards at the moment)
That would really need Dfereira's experience for when he ported HTCHome to WinMob 5.

I have a crazy question! I dont know anymore where I got my m2d file from (amnesia) and maybe someone recongnizes the file by its name? (Manila2D22AIO_beta2.cab) Does anybody know where this m2d.cab came from? I can't find anything on the net about it....?

Sorry, I just checked a few of the major PDA websites and came up with nothing! You may need to find a newer version or find a kitchen!

Haha the creator himself! Thats nice your here and immediately give me the answer! What I would like to say this is a nice version of m2d. I tweaked it a little with m2dc and discovered the colortabs and then went on tweaking. below is the result.
Almost everything functions ok except a few things
-settings and communications will not open (not that I care)
-graphical glitches in map search

The cab was made for the omnia. It will open Omnia's "commmanager".
Btw. I don't mind. Tweak as you wish

Would this cab work on an I-Mate 9502, I have been looking for this for some time.
