Delete All contacts in one attempt in WM 5 - General Topics
Hi!!
This might have been posted earlier but I just discovered this and wanted to share.
As everyone know how to back up the contacts to SD card...similarly, if we rename the current pim.vol to pim1.vol and reboot...all the exisitng contacts and calender,task entries are deleted and there is a new pim.vol file generated by system.
So this way one can fully delete all the PIM data in one go in WM5...

Does anyone know an app that will transfer my Emails/SMS from my MDA to my Dash? Just got the Dash today but this is my only problem.

Try using one of the SMS transfer programs (just google for SMS Backup Pocketpc) and see if they have a version that works on Smartphone and PocketPC. Then do a selective backup/transfer. Backup your system before you do this though.
There are other apps that will export SMS etc to a standalone file and then let you import to another device. Not sure if they will go from PocketPC to Smartphone though. I never tried it.

See the 'task manager w/down arrow' icon in the titlebar, how do I enable that back? It was removed in the ROMeOS image.

Well I thought the task manager was 'HTC Taskmanager' but after installing the cab and soft reset I do not show it. HTC_Task_Manager_2_0_31261_1.cab Is there any post install steps I need to do? doh, just found out that there is a newer version on the rom page that I over looked --going to try it out when I get home, HTC_TASK_MANAGER_2_1_34563_3R.CAB

There shouldn't be anything mission critical on the SD. Is there a chance it's something that you downloaded and then forgot about? If it were me i'd back it up to the PC just in case and then delete it. Perhaps someone else might know how it came to be there in the first place?
There should be nothing critical, maybe some back ups of yourself. You could just move everything out of there, if something throws errors, copy it back. You can also try my app maybe it will free some memory for you.

Hi, i'am a Premium user in AirDroid, why i can't access system/data dir over AirDroid File Manager ? bit funny, i can access all directories but not android data/data dir (system/data in airdroid file manager), can anybody help ? i'have try everything and so far any success ;(
