Hi,
Sorry for any inconvenience caused. This is caused by the fact that AirDroid File Manager only has read but not write access to Android system data. We've collected your request to our team and will consider it in future updates.
i've hope that update will come soon

Hi!!
This might have been posted earlier but I just discovered this and wanted to share.
As everyone know how to back up the contacts to SD card...similarly, if we rename the current pim.vol to pim1.vol and reboot...all the exisitng contacts and calender, task entries are deleted and there is a new pim.vol file generated by system.
So this way one can fully delete all the PIM data in one go in WM5...
I hope this can u useful
I had to do this too, so I wrote a little app to do it, you can download it here:
http://www.tyware.com/xda/contactwipe.zip
You'll need the .NET Compact Framework installed (if it's not already). You can get it here:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...6b-356b-4a2c-857c-e62f50ae9a55&DisplayLang=de
Hope this helps!

What encryption software exists on Android ?
Not that I do anything wrong, but I like my files to remain private.
I think that file-system encryption would be the best option like TrueCrypt ?
But out of interest does gpg exist yet on Android ?
I use iLock, its on the market. Nice app that lets you encrypt files that you choose.
please, delete this post
It's seems the best free app for your purposes is APG

use PGP encoding/decoding
Also U can use any compressing software with encoding feature. Like Dual File Manager.
I think is not a problem when I recommend you free apps?
Am I allowed to delete the file labeled "Recovery"? If not please tell me why and tell me if i'm allowed to delete any other file in the root of my sdcard. I'm trying to get memory back! Thanks!

There shouldn't be anything mission critical on the SD. Is there a chance it's something that you downloaded and then forgot about? If it were me i'd back it up to the PC just in case and then delete it.
Perhaps someone else might know how it came to be there in the first place?
There should be nothing critical, maybe some back ups of yourself.
You could just move everything out of there, if something throws errors, copy it back.
You can also try my app maybe it will free some memory for you.
I have a Nexus S running Oxygen-2.3.2, and I have a problem deleting a file. The file is the libGLES_android.so file found in /system/lib/egl. Anytime I try to delete it, it says it cannot be deleted. I cannot move it or rename it either. Does anyone know why this is happening, and how i can get the file deleted?
The file needs rw permissions. Are you using root explorer? There's a button to right to do this
Sent from my SNES
