Hi i have an o2 xda orbit
I installed flash player and was able to download short movie clips and open these just fine.
The next day i tried to do it, when i clicked to download a video it asked me to save...
however this time i was not given any option to open upon save and when i did complete the download and tried to open the short movie file i get an error message telling me that there is no associated programme with this file.
Can someone help me with this? please email [email protected]

Hi everybody:
Im the kind of user that search with striving forces all the forum before ask something or make a request. But since Wednesday I've been looking for something to fix my HTC Fuze and really I couldnt found it. (could be & most probably is a Noob Q, but with all ur knowledge I always gonna be a rookie)
Fisrt, excuse my english. Hope you guys understand my words and help me solve this problem.
Ok, here's the gap.
I installed a few softwares from this page (awesomes by the way), and work perfect. But I don't know why I MISSED THE MP3 FILE ASSOCIATION ICON
The song in WMA format keeps its icon but the mp3 songs dont.
So, the mp3 format songs can be played on wmp or in the music tab of my fuze (the phone recognized it), but the icon that is beside the tittle is the famous "Unknown File Type Icon". Also I cant use any mp3 as ringtone.
What can I do?
Do I have to Restore the my phone again?
Exist an app that I could use to fix this?
I have the idea that a software called "Pocket Music 5.2 Free" was the responsable for this, but Im not sure. Also I removed this app from the Fuze & from the registry, but didnt notice any original icon file association yet.
Phone: HTC FUZE
ROM: 5.08.502.1 WWE
Radio: 1.12.25.19
I Just ask for help Please. Hope any of you have the answer to my puzzle.
Thanks to everyone, again excuse my english & finally have a nice day.
hey, I had the same problem.. the thing u do is, download advanced config it lets u choose file associations.. go to .mp3 and type WMPlayer.exe in the program bar.. good luck mate
Hey guys,
I am in need of your help, obviously .
I have downloaded an app called FeebeRingtones. It works pretty good so far, apart from an annoying point.
You get the option to download some songs from it, which are apparently saved in the /sdcard/FeebeRings/mp3 folder. This annoys me because it essentially makes those downloaded mp3 ringtones playable from my media player.
What i want to do is edit the apk and make it save in /sdcard/media/audio/ringtones folder. I've opened up the apk, and got to a file named file_save.xml. Thing is when i open that file up its content shows up as gibberish. I tried opening it with an xml editor (Open XML Editor 1.6) but still no luck at all.
Can anyone point me at the right direction, as to what program to use and edit it?
I am attaching the file_save.xml in case anyone wants to have a look and help me out.
Thank you very much for your time.
Hello there!
I installed the baseball superstar 2010 app by clicking a loose .apk that I've put onto my sd-card on my HTC Hero, and now I am wondering, where my saved season results are being stored. Or any save-files for that matter. I cannot find any result of this game on my phone.
Does anyone know where I need to look (and what app do you use to browse your files btw?) Would like to know if anyone has ever succeeded in editing these results too. And how, ofcourse
you can download astro file manager, you can search everything on your phone.
Hi there. Thanks for the tip. I think I have the location. I thought originally that it would unpack and install in some kind of folder, like all games do when you install them on a normal desktop. But.... with astro, when I click on the .apk file which I also used (I think) to install it on my phone, it asks me: browse file or open app manager. So I think the place to be is 'browse file'.
But then..... I always assumed, that my savegame, or my own personalised player would be stamped with the date of today, or yesterday, when I last played the game. But I cannot find anything recent. And there are filetypes my phone doesnt recognise, like: mpl, dat, and ptc.
So now my question is: how can I view these files on my desktop pc (because I cannot seem to browse the .apk file there) and do you have any idea which one I should try to open???
Hi, (sorry for approx. english speaking i'm realllllly tired at this time)
i was used to load music files into my device using windows explorer and it was good...
then i flushed all files, in order to listen to other songs, so i loaded new music files the same way, but Google Play Music acts as if there was nothing in the gallery...
Finally i've managed to make it work using an android file manager (moborobo).
I'm not ok with that because i would prefer not having to use that program and be able to transfer files directly with windows explorer, it's more simple and doesn't require to install third party app into my device...
If someone can help me with that i'd be grateful.
EDIT/solution:
ok, now i feel a little shameful for this post because the solution was (kind of) described in another forum...
----> a .nomedia file has been created in main storage (really don't know how!?) so...i don't even understand how the android file manager could add music in the gallery. Deleting this .nomedia file solved my issue, everything works as it should now. Really happy to uninstall moborobo!!!
I don't delete the message because it could help someone in the future (hope so).
