I've been a big fan of the Orange Homescreen ever since i laid my hands on my first C500. At one point I was able to put the necessary files (4Orangeh.dll and Homescreen.dll) on my Qtek 8020 (SP3i) to enable the use of Abaxias brilliant homescreen on a non-Orange device.
Having switched to a Qtek 8310 (SP5), I would like to do the same with the C600 homescreen.
Does anybody know whether Orange/Abaxia changed anything from the old 176x220 WM2003 to WM5 and QVGA, or if the same old files will work?
Have anybody tried such a stunt, and will you provide me with the files (if changed)?
No the old files won't work since it was designed for 176x220 screens, i hope someone with a C600 could extract that for us, i really liked it.

It gives you a much improved interface, and better stability.
You can easily downgrade to an older ROM if you wanted too.
But I could configure easily the parameters operator (Orange in my case) and the Camera and the MMS work you correctly it? Thank you

I've owned an HP iPaq H5550 with windows mobile 2003 for years and just got my Stellar because it can do everything my iPaq can do...and more in a smaller package...and as a bonus it's also a phone
Just got my Stellar from O2 and it comes with the O2 home screen.
I believe I can change it to the HTC Kaiser home screen?
If I can...where do I get it from...and where do I put it?
Do I just install via activesync or do I just put the .cab file somewhere?
If I do this...can I revert back to the O2 screen if I want to...can I just switch between them?
Any advice welcome thanks.

No, the O2-branded Stellar does not have an FM Radio...now if someone could point me to an answer for my (relatively) simple query I'd be obliged.
Have a rummage through the "Latest cabs for Kaisers thread" - I think there are HTC home cabs in there.
I copy the cab files over to the storage card (using activesync -> explore), then find them with the pocket file manager and run them. Hopefully the HTC home will apear as an option in your today screen settings.

This phone is also the Sitronics SSP-101. It's a Russian phone that looks exactly like the i-mate SPL except it says SITRONICS in white letters instead of i-mate spl in blue letters and it has Russian letters on the keypad in addition to the english.
These are actually great phones, it's sad they didn't go anywhere. Other than battery life, the Blackjack and Blackjack II can't compare to this phone (I've owned those also).
I'm looking for a WM 6.1 ROM with working IE and WMP buttons (mainly IE, I don't use the WMP button anyway).

Any updates? I have the SSP-101 and the version of WM6 that it ships with is so limited. It don't even have a Task Manager. Very limited options. Hope one of our cookers gets something nice on the kitchen that would work for us. My phone is 1month old and sitting on my desk because I can't live with the limitations of the stock rom.
Edit: HERE is a thread that talks about the I-Mate SPL, but, no where on my phone can I determine if its a G3 or G4
Hey Mark, just wanted to add I'm in the same situation with the SSP-101. I've tried flashing a 6.1 rom for the SPL to it, but I can't seem to get the SSP into it's bootloader to flash it via cable or miniSD. Just this second dropped an email off to Sitronics so we'll see where that goes!
Let me know if you have any luck with them. The ship ROM is so limited and the signal is very poor. Hopefully we'll find a way to upgrade it. I gave mine to my son for now. Don't care much for it with the ship ROM and Radio.

Looks like there is no interest (or no technical know-how) in the Treo 500.
I like the device, and i want to get it to replace my HTC s710, but after I tasted the difference between the WM6 and WM6.1, I am not willing to let go... especially the threaded-sms.
It is possible to return to the old original qtek9100 wm5 ??

I think it's better to flash a Wizard WM5 Love Rom,
Or you could try WM5SE. They are all Windows Mobile 5, tweaked for finger functionality.
