I used this tiny App since 5 years now, and just today I bought my x7510, the first thing I did was to install it on my device, but for my amazement, it installed correctly but DID NOT SHOW ON THE SCREEN AS IT DID BEFORE, the settings screen and menus are all messedup badly to the extent that I can't read any information.
the problem is VGA Screen of my device!
plz guys can you report if it working or not on your devices? this little app work wonders for our devices, give it a try please and let me know how to configure it to SHOW correctly on my devices' screen.
P.S.: I don't use any VGA Software like TrueVGA or any sort of these, the device is just Stock. brand new.
I downloaded the latrest version from the site of the developers of this app, but still, NO GO!
Will
please HELP! Please
XCPUScaler ver 3.03 has worked fine on my x7510. I don't have it loaded at this time as I reset the device to make hard SPL a clean install. When I attempt to reinstall I'll report back, however, I am waiting for Manila ver 20 to be released before I re-install all of my apps.
VGA is NO problem
As I reported in another post here, CXPUScalar works fine with VGA in PORTRAIT mode. in landscape mode there are scroll bars to use to access the areas that are offscreen.
On a side note, I uninstalled the app due to repeatable sound problems when running XCPUScalar. I would lose all sounds until I soft-reset the device. I tried with it scaling with overclocking to 663 and without overclocking and only going to 624 and also tried it without scaling and just hard setting at both 663 and 624. Unfortunately everytime I let the software run, both manual start and auto run, it would randomly kill my sound.
I uninstalled only XCPUScalar and have not had the problem resurface.
BTW, the only time I see any slowness is on the today screen drawing the plugins. Everything else works very quickly.
I have been running XCPUScalar since I bought mine. No problems at all upon running it at constant 624. I am using it with Real VGA, no sound problems either. It was the very first application I installed before adding any other apps.

I now fixed the problem by doing one thing:
Hard Reset.... and Cancelled the Customizations that follows a fresh hard reset by resetting the device before the 3 seconds count down.
Now.... it shows properly, but as you mentioned, sometimes I just Lose Sound until another soft reset.
thank you so much for the input..
one more thing:
I just feel the device is slow when going to Programs Menu and scrolling up and down using the stylus, it just takes some lags drawing the screen, I tried playing with cache settings using Schab Adv Config. but all are invain, I JUST DON'T NOTICE ANY IMPROVEMENTS AT ALL.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO IN ORDER TO GIVE IT SMOOTHER MOTION?
VIDEOS PERFORMANCE USING CorePlayer 1.22 sucks too, we have ATI Acceleration chip and yet suffer all these! its just pain in the...
Did someone use it with WM 6.5.3?
a better question yet, did anyone try it on WM 7 yet?
I'm still on 6.1x i like it lean, and never had the time to cook my own custom ROM, one of these days i will.
running it all the time on 624, it works fine on 663, the only problem is it gets too hot after a while if i leave it on 663, probably why the OP has audio problem at higher speeds.
I always switch it back down to 624 when 663 is too hot, but i do up it to 663 when i go online, or watch video, to compensate for the lack of ATI driver support.
when i'm done i lower it back to 624, besides at 663 it sucks up too much battery, i always carry an extra battery with me in case i run out of juice, and not have any USB port nearby to refill.
Hi,
I use coreplayer 1.3.0 and switched ATI support on. When playing a 500 * 400 divx file the benchmark gives 140% playback speed so no problems here. I must say I fiddled a lot with the settings to get it working correctly. No use of CPUXSCALE but I use PocketHackMaster.

I have been trying to figure this out for like 2 years. I just want to be able to record video in the background. I am running Mobile 6.1 on an HTC S720. I have tried the latest coolcamera (it just starts and immediately shuts off). I have searched EVERYWHERE. It would seem that the program built into the phone could potentially keep recording if the trigger to stop recording once the program was exited was turned off.
Is there a known registry modification (or any modification) to make the camera program stay always recording?
Is there any other software people have had luck with other then coolcamera?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, even a link or keyword, anything is helpful at this point. This really seems like it should be easier then it is (or hopefully isn't).

Hi,
Guess you'll need to find a way to minimize (or hide) the UI of your camera. I tried recording a video and then pressed the Win-button on my keyboard to get into the startmenu, but it just stopped recording. Looks like the cam takes over the phone completely.
Besides, if you want the phone to keep recording, you'll need a very BIG storagecard (19s vid = 2.8 MB on my phone) and an even BIGGER battery.

Ya I have a 4 gig card in it. The camera program stays on because I can still see it in the process menu. I specifically want this for altercations with police whether in my car or on the street. I would like to start recording then lock the phone. I have had my phone recording while dealing with a cop and he saw the camera and his attitude changed. I'd rather them not know I am recording, and not be able to access the phone at the same time. I understand they could just pop out the card, but lengthwise I could pop out the card and slip it into my sock if they confiscate the phone. The phone can handle about 45 mins of straight recording so battery life shouldn't be an issue, plus it stays plugged in while in my car.
Thanks for the input as any is welcomed.

So, why you need videorecording then ? Guess it'll be easier and faster to just start your voicerecorder with your phone in one of your pockets...

Oh man, my X1 also cannot use Cool Camera either, And the default camera program can't been minimize....., I know that asus P565 default one could do so....looking for that program
I have a serious problem with my flash player I think. I am unable to view youtube videos in more than 360p, at 480p the video lags like hell and the phone becomes quite unresponsive, 720p is out of the question. Moreover, the full screen button doesn't work it just shows a blank screen when pressed and upon pressing return the browser sees the flash object as an image and the video wont load.
Facebook chat is almost always placed in wrong position, half of the buttons don't work.
This has happened to me on all ROMs but the fullscreen bug only occurred in the ICS(RC1) and I have tired several different methods to fix these issues, still no luck.
So I wanted to know is this normal for flash player to behave like this? Or Do I have some sort of an issue?
Does anyone else have the issue of Video rotation being messed up?
I know the Gyro works fine.
But when I take a Video in Landscape and Play it holding it Landscape it forces it to Portrait.
If I hold the phone portrait for play back it will fill the screen and play back fine (As long as you tip your head 90 degrees).
What the heck is wrong with this thing.
I also have several players on the phone and none of those will play it back correctly either.
I have like 6 Video players on the PC and none of they will play the video back correctly. Many get the aspect ratio wrong in addition to the rotation.
There is ONE tool I have on the PC that is designed to download Videos from Youtube (wondershare) and if I use that tool to convert the Video to MOV format, the Video comes out perfect.
So if ONE tool on the PC can convert it correctly. Why the heck does every other tool get it wrong. After I convert it to MOV format every player on the PC or the phone will play it back correctly.
Noticed this after the 4.4.4 Update
It's always done it for me.
I wonder if it's like out of sync (like battery calibration can be).
Parts of the system thinks it's 90 degrees from what it is.
Maybe I need to Wipe/Flash it in Landscape mode or something
It takes such good Video too.
Pictures are fine.

I found the answer and posted it as a TIP in the general forum.
