XDA II Thumbboard drivers for Targus ClickNType
If you modify the connector layout (to fix the physical pinout issues), then this driver works nicely on Pocket PC 2003 and the iMate / XDA II...
http://www.targus.com/us/Downloads/PA745v12.exe
I'm guessing that it may well work with a whole host of standard serial thumb-boards.
Give it a go.

Andy, do you know if this driver will work with the UK O2 version of the Thumb Keyboard (which is a Darfon G3B1)? If not do you know where that driver can be found
Thumb board
Should work fine - As long as the thumboard is serial and if from the same OEM - I'd give it a go.. Make sure you've got your data sync'ed - and try it!

Andy, Tried it but doesnt work. So does anybody out there have the driver and could email it to me?
I ended up returning my keyboard because I could not get drivers that would work at all and no drivers from HTC or OEM manufacturers!
These drivers work fine on the Darfon Keyboard I bought today for my XDAII. These are the UK drivers straight off of the cd supplied with the thumbpad
Download HERE
I am using them at the moment to compose SMS inbetween posting on here.

Hallo fellow countryman!
Please use the search function in future, this has been answered before.
THAT would be the easiest way to accomplish what you want.
or
THIS would be the cooler way of changing the keyboard layout.

Hi!
I installed "HyperDragon IV IOLITE CE OS 5.2.20765 Build 20765.1.4.4" on my Kaiser and the phone has a Swedish keyboard. I tried to find a tutorial how to get the Swedish key board both on the screen and on the "hardware keyboard".
(I probably suck on finding it)
I would be grateful if some one could help me true the steps.
could someone paste a link or help me?
getting the keyboard on the screen is easy since some SIPs have swedish built into them.
you can try TouchPal, Resco Keyboard, SPB Keyboard.. maybe there's a Diamond or Opal swedish keyboard in the forum.. just search
about your hardware keyboard.. i'm not completely sure it's even possible to use it with sweedish unless the SIP supports it.
Ok, thanks!
If there's any body who knows how to get the swedish harware keyboard to work, please reply =)
Hi to all,
I'd like to install the original keyboard (usable with the stylus) present on WM6.5 original rom. Can anyone help me to find the cab?

Thanks

I need the same!
Are you looking for the stylus keyboard present on devices prior to the Pro 2? If yes, then I have been searching for the same. I have recently found a registry edit to get it to work. Currently testing. Shall let you know if it works.
I'm look forword it
Thanks

When you guys talk of "stylus" keyboard, are you ref. to the tiny querty keaybord seen in windows mobile 6.1?
Yes, that's what we want. I am currently having a HD2 TOUS being delivered to me and I am waiting for it.
In advance, I am reseraching my tinkering options with this device. I still have my old yet enduring Himalaya by hand. I'll try and see if I can do some tweaks by copying files from my Himalaya to Leo. Will post updates if I am successful.
I found the solution. Please bump if anyone is interested, as I have lost the links and sources and it will be tedious to me to find and re-credit my sources.
However, should you want to do it yourself, the solution is basically finding the right keys that correspond to the old keyboard you want (i.e. Keyboard, Block Recognizer, Handwriting recognizer) under HKCR\CLSID and changing the data of the value of key "IsSipInputMethod" to 1, then downloading SIPChange to select that keyboard. You need SIPChange as it is the only way to select the keyboard without HTC Input taking over.
