my mda is telling usb v1.00 its a duth one from t mobile and i im trying running the noid.exe with the qtek s100 rom dutch ship, but its still checking now for two hours and still cant get it working.
i cant reset it either
somoene please help me with this one

:wink: this trick works for me :wink:
1.get rthe MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe
2.unpack the update to a folder (just unpack the exe with winrar )
3 replace MaUpgradeUt.exe with the noID one (rename it to MaUpgradeUt.exe )and run it while your phone is hooked up trough cable.
this works for me on several occasions :idea:

what the .... have i done and how do i fix it

I recently had my i imate ppc repaired, as it wouldnt charge. Since then i havent been able to use the usb connection, I some how wiped out my wm 2003 rom and have been trying to reinstall it but cant seem to get any futher than the error 101 connection, I have sent the phone back to the repairer and he has said that its a sofware problem, at the moment there is no software on it, I only have the bootloader screen which says, Serial, or USB when the usb cable is connected.
Can anyone out there please let me know if there is anyway i can get the room back on this or ist it a brick.

if the boot loader screen says usb when plugged in, then you CAN flash a ROM, check the forum for whichever your device is

Can anyone tell me how to flash an 8imate pocket pc phone edtion, or paste the link to the forum where the information is on here please.

OK, i don't have a Himalaya or a 2003 device, but,
download the original ROM from whoever sold you the phone, flash that to get back to a working phone. no programme required, just dl and run it, then read everything in

hi everyone,my problem is that after uprading my pm300 it stuck into bootloader any idea on how to solve this problem and is g4 i realy need your help urgently thx in advance

What ROM did you upgrade to? If it was to a WM6 ROM using the "new" upgrade method, you may have failed to hard SPL your device. What ever the cause, the solution (as ever) can be found on the wiki.

yes you are right i didnt HARDSPL my device befor updating with (ROM
MY GREEN EDITION WM6.1)is there any hope that my phone will come back to live,by the way thx for the reply

If the device can get into bootloader, it should be possible to recover it In my previous post there was a link to the wiki page for recovering devices from bootloader. If you want any more info, I'll be happy to try and help...

thx for the quick reply but my problem now is if i connect the phone i can see the usb on the screen alright but the computer doesnt sync it and if i go ahead and update the rom i get error make sure the usb/cradle is connected properly i dont know what to do plssssssssss i need help to revive this phone thx in advance

HTC p3400 in boot logger mode.

Hello..I have HTC p3400. I have Brought this phone from DUBAI.And right now i am in INDIA.
There was wm 5 in it.but i was trying to update to WM6.It was successful.But Due to some SMS problem i have shown it to HTC-authorized service center.they try it change the operating system wm6.1 to wm5.5 and during ROM UPGRADE process the phone is stuck in boot logger screen...! nothing else happening ..!
I have putted the phone in ideal condition for 24 hours and then try to install wm6.1.But nothing is happening...it stuck on boot logger Screen.
Now what is the solution for this ?

Maybe your phone was relocked! and when you try to upgrade BUM! bricks! well many people can say its not bricked.... cause it has bootloader...
but this cant be answered if you dont give us more information...

Boot Problem
Hi !
I have HTC p3400 and i read the commetns of the people who upgraded the windows to 6.1. i also decided to u upgrade. i follw the procedure given by Xda developers. i just follow the fisrt step, there was a caution by the developers that dont try it on the new pocket pc having model no HT8 but i did'nt notice....after first step my pocket pc turned off and after that i don't start....even on connecting charger or usb cable it dont take any action. some body told me that is is booting problem.....i am so much tensed and i don't know what to Do, any body can please help me? i shall be very thankful to You.

seriously urgent help needed with gsm htc touch pro!!!!!

hi everyone,
iv got a htc touch pro,to be precise it is my first ever smartphone and i have tried to flash and add a new rom to my handset.i read all forums and threads on various sites about how to perform a successful flash and rom.installation of the rom were successful,but my phone does not load up to main screen at all!does that mean my touch pro is bricked????however,i can go to the bootloader and try a hard reset,but that doesnt work either.i have found out that my handset was already unlocked using Olinex.
Please can anyone help me out???im really really stressed out.

Ok, best thing to try is to download the official factory rom.
Start the phone and get it to the boot-loader screen.
Plug it in to your PC and wait for the word USB to show up at the bottom of the phone's screen.
Next run the factory rom installation on the PC and go through the steps. It should hopefully flash fine back to the original OS.

thanks alot,that really helped!!!!you havent a clue how stressed out i was when that happened.anyways,i could do with some more help.since i bought this phone,my net has NOT been working.it was officially branded on vodafone but it was unlocked by previous owner.i have ordered official settings from Htc and o2 themselves and still no result.anyone have any solution(s) for this problem?????
like alot of people have said to me,without net on these smartphones,the TP is nothing!so if anyone has a solution,please DO tell me about it

I would disagree that without internet smartphones are nothing.... but that's not the point. Do you know which ROM you're using?
Are you using a stock rom? if so, from which company.
Alot of people here have their signature to show what rom/radio/phone (type) they have. it makes it easier for those who want to help to provide answers or suggestions faster and you wont have to get nagged asking the same question everytime

Firstly - slow down!
Not quite sure if you have a problem now or not, and if you do, if its the same as you started with.
From what you have written:
You have read some stuff
You have flashed some stuff
it hasnt worked as you expected
you asked for help on here
you may have flashed some more stuff
you may or may not have a problem still.
No offence, but its pretty tricky to offer much in the way of useful assistance when we dont know what state the phone is in.
Dont panic - enter the bootloader. Note what it says (SPL)
Reset, note the rom & radio versions.
See what works & what doesnt.
Read the forum rules - especially about starting new posts and how to name them (seriously urgent help needed isnt very descriptive). Use the search function to see if your problem has been answered (lots of connectivity issues will have been). If you still are having problems, reply to this post, or make a new one if more appropriate, saying clearly what you have (including rom & radio as appropriate) and what you are stuck with.
