just wondering if anyone can tell me the best wireless sd card to use with my Qtek.
if it's a qtek1010 (xda1) then you cant use any of them
since they all require sdIO and the xda1 dont support that
Hi its a Qtek 2020 ( xda2 )
I'm using a Socket WiFi SD Card and works great!
Im using a sandisk SD WIFI card works great with WEP as well.
I have the Sandisk SD card too... but apparently it does me some problems... i have to push the card a little bit with my finger to the forward, so that i'll be able to use my wifi... not very usefull to surf on the internet like that...
i ve read elsewhere some other ppl had same problem...
Hello,
I tried different versions of Windows Mobile 2005 for Windows Mobile, but with every one of them Tomtom (5.21 and 6.00) behave unstable, e.g. they crash everytime I try to use the GPRS connection (for traffic services etc.). Has anyone else experienced this behavior?
Greetings,
Andreas
SD card issue
I spent months getting my xda2i working with tomtom5 after I upgraded from tomtom3. The fix for me was to replace my sd card for an MMC card and this did the trick. I use the "PNY 2Gb MMC" card. Note MMC cards work in place of SD cards on xda devices.
Hi, I am new to the PDA world. I have downloaded the sdhc.cab and installed on my AT&T Treo 750, WM5, it identified a 4GB Kingston Mini SDHC memory card. It works great.
But I can no longer see memory card (Treo reports no memory installed) once after turning on phone from sleep mode or the display gets off. Only way to get it identified is to un-plug and re-plug SDHC card into the slot. Is there any fix for this. Please help me.
Thanks

Hello all,
I've installed Tomtom on my TC and got the option to download a free map. Now, I have a TomTom One Western Europe Edition with the map of .. Western Europe
I copied the map into my microSD, folder is named "Western_Europe". Is there any way to "bind" TomTom Navogator to this map, because when I start it, it says that there are no maps on the device.
I'm very greatfull for any help or links with Howto's.
Stealth Edit: I've read that the map should be installed/activated through TomTom Home. But how do I make the software detect my device? Only ActiveSync ist being started when I connect TC to my PC, TomTom Home doesn't recognise the device.
I have just managed to install Navigator on my device. It was a little frustrating but it does work eventually.
Install home on your machine, then you need to put the SD card into a card reader and attach to the PC. Can't do it with the device connected to the PC
You probably then need to choose device, then change device and change target device to pocket pc.
This will change the device on your TomTom account. Then click on install to tom tom and click ctrl-f8 or cmd-f8 on a mac.
I think that will do it.

That's all nice and dandy, but when I put the microSD in the card reader TomTom Home doesn't recognize anything. My PC sees the memory card as device, but Home is stuck in "Please connect your device to the PC" no matter what option I choose
Edit: Ok, I've downloaded the Pocket PC Home version and now my TC is recognized. My problem is that I can't get the map to work with the Navigator. The Navigator says "no map", TomTom Home doesn't "see" the map in its folder too.
Hello,
when I switch on my device sometimes all programs accessing the SD-Card will be suddenly terminated. This occurs with some of the WM6.1 builds I flashed but not with all. I use a 8GB SDHC Card. Any Ideas ?
