convert Magician PM10C to a PM10A ???? - JAM, MDA Compact, S100 Software Upgrading

HI
can anyone that really knows how to change the Firmware so that when i complete it shows as a PM10A ?
I believe that naturally the programming for 900MHz needs to be loaded into a 850 MHz model in order for the 900MHz to work, i have already modified the hardware for the conversion, now its only for the software.
Calling all Magician experts, i am so close to truly convert the 850 MHz to 900 MHz, can you please help me with converting the software, i have already completed the hardware.
Regards
Ridi

[Q] Motorola Milestone XT720 and HSDPA 900MHz ?

Hello!
I found that our phone support only HSDPA at 1700/2100 MHz. Is it possible to use HSDPA at 900 MHz after some software modification or not?
I have a bad feel that ability to use HSDPA 900 MHz is hardware depending?
i could be wrong, but i'm pretty sure the radio frequency is hardware based, rather than software controlled
Same to me... in my country (Panama) 3G frequency are 900/1900
Sent from my XT720 using XDA App
Although I don't think it will enable 900 Mhz support, you can always attempt a baseband update that more closely resembles your needs.
I got a lot steadier 3G coverage with the European baseband. (in sweden)
same to me, my network operator have HSDPA and 3g on 850/1900 Mhz.
it's any solutions for this?
better 3G coverage

Whoa..are you saying that by using a comparable baseband, but not necessarily my own carrier stock supplied one, I could potentially improve my 3G reception??
Anyone on Wind Canada tried this?

[Q] LG Models differences

Hi Guys!
Please can anyone explain me what is the difference between a LG E-615, E-615f and LG Optimus L5?
My question is about this:
I wanted a DUAL sim phone with 3G behaviour in the 900 and 1900 Mhz bands. My seller told me that the LG-E-615 was the one. If some one check this model at gsmarena.com it look like it is ok. But it´s not. This model only has 3G features at 900 and 2100 Mhz bands.
Is this a ROM feature?
Can I upgrade to a new one in order to gain 3G behaviour at the 1900 Mhz band? or there is a hardware restriction?
Thanks a lot for your tips and responses,
Regards,
Jean L

[Completed] [Q] Change 900 mhz 3g Band to 850 Gran Neo Plus

Hi, i have a Samsung Grand Neo Plus GT-I9060I bought on Europe. Unfortunately, i live in Argentina, and the 3g frequency here is 850 mhz, and my phone has 900 mhz. My question, is this a hardware limitation or it can be fixed by software? if hardware, can it be fixed by a technician or it has no fix at all? Thank you very much
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. It's a hardware limitation. So you won't be able to change the 3g band.

HONOR 6 - H06-L02 - LTE band 800 Mhz.

Hi to all.
I want to know if it's possible add the frequency band 800 Mhz (2600 Mhz too) at the phone.
I think that if this is a firmware problem so it is possible but if it is a hardware problem, it doesn't.
What do you think about this.
Thanks

Unfortunately, it will be a hardware problem where the RF section is not tuned to those bands.
This could possibly be modifiable in software, but you would still have an electronic limitation where the RF circuits and antennas are not tuned for these bands
The UK version likewise does not support 800Mhz LTE, though has 2100 & 2600

Unlock unavailable bands on your smartphone, is it possibile?

Hello I'm reading around to check if it's possible to unlock unsupported officially bands on my smart-phone
(ex. I have a Cubot X9 that supports just the 3G W-CDMA 850Mhz and W-CDMA 2100Mhz and I need the 900Mhz W-CDMA band in my country)
The question is.
Is it really possible to unlock other band on the cellphone or it's an hardware limit? Is there somebody that technically could explain more about my question ?
Thanks for reading
