just gotten this ph a few days ago and found out that i can't read nor write chinese....

U have 2 choice:
1. Upgrade to either CHS (simplified Chinese) or CHT (traditional Chinese) rom which can be found in
ftp://xda:[email protected]/Magician/
(search old post for different among the roms and how to install)
2. Easier for newbie: install "Monster Chinese" (search google).

Not that I know of. The Greek rom won't work on a non Greek device & the other way around too :-(. So to get a 'native' Greek magician there's only one solution or you really need to hack the rom.

I bought a Qtek S200 in Zurich before leaving to China, where I live.
I did the already clasic mistake of not looking to the OS language. Was German. I am Spanins and I would need at least English version.
I have been surfing a lot until I saw this forum.
Could somebody tell me how to moev to English ? Seems that I need to change the ROM. Does this will change ALL menus in he Win Mobile ?
I saw a smart card JAFWM. Coudl be this a good and simple solution to my problem of language change ?

1. To change to English, flash the device with English ROM. You can choose between Qtek, Dopod, i-mate, etc.
2. To get the one of the English ROMS, go here to download: ftp://xda:[email protected]/Prophet/Shipped_Complete_Updates/

with the update i has nothing problems,...but THE BIGGEST PROBLEM IS:
i can not working with english or other languages (norsk,france,ned,magyar,slovenish etc...)
i need: GERMAN- LANGUAGE newest rom!
...please post a link or an uploadlink (but can`t use ftp..!) with the newest " QTEK8300 or iMate SP5m_AKU2-ROM" in german or WWE w. incl.german...
i´m found and downloaded a rom with this text:

...but i dont now, is this rom for 8300 too and i have no language information..

i have an old ipaq 1945 and i have read that there is a rom in italian for 1940 that i would put on this ppc but i don't find it. Where can i find!?
If it's not possible there is a rom that i can install on it!? Also of other ppc?
How can i install office in italian on this ppc? When i try to do it a message says that it's not possible because of different language...it's possible overcome this!?

I have a problem with a Qtec 9100.
The language of the phone in italian (by that I mean every written output by the OS is in italian - Iconnames, windowtext, etc...). Unfortunately I don't speak that language. I'd like to change the language of the phone to english oder german.
I found some tutorials an your site read them. If I'am not mistaken I have to flash the ROM of my phone in order to change its language. But every link I tried to download programs (like lokiwiz) or ROMs (I tried RUU_Prodigy_1030711_120_10410_Qtek_GER_Ship and others...) seems to be dead...
Can anyone provide me please with that tool (or something similar) and/or a ? ROM?
