My recent problems are gone...i have no longer a working mda :-(
When I withdraw the battery the startup screen appears and after that the automatic installation of the TMOBILE sw starts. Then the MDA returns in bootlader mode and no one of the discribed methods works....
The only way to get it half working is
1withdraw the batt
2start to sync when installing
3then start with maupgrade no id (this is the first time that rom versions are displayed in the screen and that i am getting near to orange 1.12
4 one of the usual errors (not the country one) appears
and
5 start all over again
6 why can't I just drag and drop the files from the ftp site to the mda and reboot
7 why is everything a mac ?
8 sorry...help me
Who knows what to do because this is not a good phone to use Now i am draining the battery

my current problem
I have tried to unlock rom (by using ELF_USPL-v1)
in final step (that screen has got blank (white) screen) and when progressbar in my pocket pc come to 100% it restarted automatic and I have seen this messege while locking (attached)
some time become 2% in progressbar and restart automaticly
then I connect it with computer and I have stack with my computer when I run Microsoft ActiveSync last version..so I ended it and all steps ok
But finally...
I tried to update with same rom I have failed
and see this messege again
I tried also this rom
\Touch_1.11.707.1B_4mbPagepool_BigStorage that gives me 15 mb extra
same problem
I tried Cert_SPCS.cab & EnableRapi.cab Unlockers in my ppc and still same problem I cannot update the rom

The only way that I know of to get music on your Touch is to load up an expansion memory card or to stream tunes from the net over cellular.
As far as GPS goes, I don't believe the Touch has this feature built in, so you may have to go with a bluetooth GPS for the time being.
I'm not familiar with the upgrade procedures for ROM flashing on the Touch, however I imagine that you first need to obtain an Activesync connection first, then begin flashing. You may want to check up on the wiki and read any step by step instructions that may be there on flashing your phone.

I am posting this here since there seems to be way too many threads around here all saying the same thing diffently yet in NO clear way that everyone can understand. I spent 2 days trying to recoved a Prophet from a bad flash.
Symptoms
Prophet stuck in Bootloaded (Tri Color Screen)
Prophet stuck in 2nd Splash (Usually Your providers Splashcreen)
Solution Read as (This is what I did to fix it)
Download a WM5 Prophet\Wizard Official Rom (I still own a Wizard so I used the K-JAM_WWE_216901_2169101_020710_ship rom, the devices are very similiar concerning chipsets with the hardware keyboard seeming to be the biggest difference)
Extract the Rom (if it is distributed in an exe format with a tool like Winrar or 7zip)
Download the Prophet Tools Light package and extract to any folder . This contains both G3 and G4 RUU's (I can confirm this worked on a G4 Device)
Place the Official nk.nbf in the \Utils\Flash folder
Drop the phone into bootloader (Tri Color Screen) mode and connect to PC via usb.
Allow a few seconds for the usb connection to settle and run the RUU specific to your device.
DO NOT TOUCH the device or PC at this point. If your pc is a tad slow, go make some coffee and watch an episode of Big Bang Theory
This should now give you a shiny new (or old ) rom that is bootable which will allow you to upgrade your Prophet to any of the pretty WM 6.1 roms available.
Just a little tip:
If you are worried about messing up the device again use Alternate "Lazy tool" by dioxda. Its easy and it works !

heeey...sorry but after this my prophet go death... i cant turn it on, and i dont know how but it seems that i cant charge it no more...
is death... can anybody help me how 2 fix this?

Strange this worked perfectly for me, but when I tried updating to a different rom I got the same problem you are facing now. Just a quick flash on the screen and blue and red LED flash. If I plug it in it just sits there flashing the whole time. I am looking into this as soon as I get a solution I will post it here. Any help guys ?

If at any stage your Prophet fails to start properly or can only enter bootloader follow this:
* Download and install the latest version of ActiveSync (Google for it)
* Download and unzip an AKU2.2 (No Vendor) ROM for the Prophet-any AKU 2.2 will do-from [here | ftp://xda:[email protected]_NVID.exe] or [here | http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index...=Prophet_ROMs]
* Within ActiveSync DISABLE connect through USB (Tools->Connection Settings->Uncheck Allow Connect through USB)
* Put the Prophet into bootloader mode (hold the camera button and insert the stylus into the larger hole next to the power socket)
* Plug the Prophet in via USB
* Run the RUU specific to your device (G3 or G4) from the AKU2.2 folder. If there is only one RUU, use that.
* When it has finished: disconnect the Prophet, and then re-enable the connect through USB in actyivesync before reconnecting the device.
==> if success, will going back into WM5 and then u can use the Lazzy Tool, look at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=353547
choose WM 6.1 ROM, after u doing that step, u already done with the WM 6.1 SEMOGA SUKSES!

I have a slightly different problem. When I turn on my Prophet, it is in bootloader mode, so I take out the battery, leave for 3 seconds, put the battery back in, turn on the Prohpet.
Bootloader is displayed
Plug into PC with Active Sync 4.5 running (USB disabled)
Windows makes the 'new hardware connected' sound
RUU shows USB in bottom corner
Run the NVID no vender ROM,
Agree to first screen
Agree to second screen
Click Next
Prophet turns off
Windows makes the 'hardware disconnected' sound
Argh
No Prophet, no phone - incommunicado!
When I turn the prophet on now, I just get the bootloader, then it turns itself off after 10 seconds.
Could it be a low battery? - How do I charge it? I have left it plugged in to the power all night!!!
Could it be a faulty phone? - I have been having random resets over the past 3 weeks or so and thought that it was the WM6.1 rom installed, so was trying to put WM5 back on to see if that helps. - I am beginning to think there may be something wrong with the device?
I am trying a few more things from this forum before giving up and buying a new windows smartphone!
Any help would be apreciated!

Guess it could be a power issue. - I got further just now by using a powered cradle instead of just a usb cable, but still reset at 80% complete. Will leave the phone charging using a wall charger only for an hour and see how i get on with that!

Ok,
So it turned out to be a low battery. - I charged the Prophet up for 1 hour and then ran the re-flash and it worked perfectly.
Now I just need to get the Orange rom back on it so its back to normal - Not faffing with WM6.1 - will stick to WM5 as its much quicker and works!
Maybe I was a bit too fast in posting the problem!

Hi Guyz, Just bought a Touch HD (WWE ROM) and 1st thing i did was to configure a 4 digit sreen lock password (with lockout time = 0 secs). Since i live in china and rely on Chinese for texting, i went on to try to install a old version of CE-Star (wm2003) on it, installation went fine, finally was prompted to do soft-reset, i did so, and then things went haywire, after coming out of reset the device displayed the initial password screen, realized that i cannot type the password in thescreen (totally un-responsive) and nor clicking on below 4 hardware butons causes any effect. I cannot enter into my device and hence cant do anything, stuck. I tried repeated Soft-reset nor worser still is i cant even hard-reset the device (at wits end to get out of this dilemma, Pls help to resolve. Thanks.

I've been searching and searching, and trying and trying, but I can't seem to get past this Error [262] when I'm trying to upgrade my ROM or Radio (HTC Diamond).
What I'm doing is this basically:
I downloaded DiamonCustomRUU.exe, put it in a folder with the radio/rom (say Diamond_Radio_1.00.25.05.nbh), I connect my HTC Diamond to my pc via usb, activesync is on, I start up the RUU, go through all the steps, then at the end when the update 'starts', my phone goes off, starts up in the 4 coloured screen, activesync stops, then my phonescreen turns grey with the progress bar (stuck at 0%), and on my laptop there's a progress bar as well. It does nothing, and after about 5 minutes, I get the Error [262].
I reinstalled Activesync, but no changes. I installed HardSPLL though. I tried another USB-port, doing it without my firewall on (someone suggested it, yes I'm desperate)... I have no idea where to go from here.
Can anyone help? (sorry if this is the wrong section..)

Good day if I'm in the right place, I would like to report a HTC P3300, was originally in French under the wm 5 it was in a Paris shop that I purchased it after a while I did an upgrade if I do not mistake by HTC
and stayed for so long with wm 6, later began to check websites and forums on new roms, unlock the USPL and installed several versions until I found one in English to 6.5.5 was the most beautiful and functional I found
is provided by MMS, but look great i found another more beautiful, but asked to switch to the USPL ELF_USPL 1.17.000 AND SYSTEM accepted and requested to download the Rom version 3.19.4.3 of WM_23138_FULL_UPLOAD,
there was the biggest blunder I made, but the process has started arriving around 3% of the process was interrupted and the screen of the P3300 is gone along with all the leeds yet energized with the bottom of the screen a little clearer when it rebooted already returned
with the screen totally black and no longer lit leeds, I tried all the processes of red soft reset and reset all, when you go to boot loader it does not appear, but charges the battery by USB and wall fountain, if you connect the USB cable PC and PDA hear a beep
strong on the PC that is characteristic of the PC found a device, leed top of a wink and just, always black screen, the icon appears as POCKET PC USB SYNC but
IS NOT NOTHING MORE, BEFORE RETURNING TO A WORKSHOP which is 700 KM from me would like to know of you who understand this system, I think he lost the firmwere the rom and would like to know what and how it is being reset firmwere the tools with which to do it, if I could at least enable the boot loader would have a hope that he does but not all, the sign of life that is left is only the flashing red leed upper right when you insert the USB and appears Icon on the PC and when it introduces the USB wall fountain, but Windows Device Center does not recognize, do I have any hope?
