Hi,
My company are looking at XDA's but will require the BB client on them too.
Can someone please confirm what models do have this function as standard?
Many thanks
Richard
What's BB Client? :?:
Blackberry Client
The T-Mobile MDAIII in the UK now comes with the BB client installed as standard - you have to get the service activated for a further £8.50 +vat per month with 50MB inclusive data.

Can anyone make comment.
I'm dying to get my hands on an MDAIII from T-Mobile. I must stick with them as I am in contract on the old Precept plan giving me 7am-6pm unlimited national calls/tmobile calls.
I need to really get my emails from our own mail server and was wondering if anyone knows if the MDAIII can utilise the Blackberry Push function.
Does anyone know if Instant Email is available on the MDAIII from T Mobile once you have an MDAIII. I speak with T-mobile everyother day trying to find someone there who knows more than just the price.
I simply want MDAIII with Instant email (50mb).
Anybody got any specific Tmobile experience with the MDA III.
Thakns in advance.
David.
try doing a search for Blackberry
in this forum there have been many posts

I'm planning to move from O2 UK Pay & Go to 3 UK pay & go. While obtaining the PAC code, I told their representative that I've had no success with connecting to the Web using GPRS (I don't have a USIM yet so UMTS is out of the question), even using the network preconfigure program I downloaded from HTC, and the instructions from http://www.filesaveas.com/gprs.html .
He replied that my xda Trion (well, Orange M3100 really) is a contract phone, and only contract customers can use GPRS on it.
But I have a feeling that this is a steaming pile of poo, since I remember the good old days when I used O2 GPRS my O2 xda (yes, the very first one). Unless they have changed the policy?
And if anyone here is using O2 UK Pay & Go and have access to the web using GPRS, would you mind sharing the settings here?
Its fawkin expensive! In a few days I will be moving to t-mobile pay as you go, because they only charge £1 for the whole day of GPRS.
Dose any one use 3 (Three) Network SIM with Treo 750 UK
Pay as u Go - Free Windows Live mesenger until end of 2007 (in UK)
hi speed internet 3G
But dose any body know is Treo 750 goes under 3 compatibal device i mean the dont offer Treo 750 on their site at all but i i have my own Unlocked Treo will Sim only PAY AS U GO work for mi in terms of Free Windows Live mesenger until end of 2007 (in UK) will they be able to recognize Windows Live mesenger Traffic so the wont chare it to my
GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/3G bill or whot ever
I am on 3 UK pay monthly. The Treo set up itself automatically (both with WM5 and 6) so you should have no problems.
They should recognise it as MSN traffic but give it a try and then check My3 to see if you have been charged. I have the £5 X-Series add on and I use that for MSN (though Live Messenger doesn't seem to work but PocketMSN did), Skype and Exchange ActiveSync (push email) and have only ever been charged the £5 per month.
offtopic - Today at the base station near my house, 3 upgraded it to HSDPA. Getting almost 1Mbit/s

They say Windows Live Mesenger how come it doesn't seem to work ??
how much do u pay monthly ? and is it 18 or 12 month ?
so u cen get a contract and get any hand set from three tale SIM out and put it in to Treo 750 ??
All up I pay £30 (£25 for voice and £5 for data). It's a 12 month contract. I originally got a 12 month contract with 12 months free, so effectively, I am only paying for the data and any non-included calls (e.g. 0845, 0870, international). I got a LG U400 on the contract (the DJ phone) which I flogged on fleabay and the money contributed to my Treo. So yes, provided your Treo is unlocked, you can plug in a 3 sim card and away you go. The Treo will set itself up.
Not sure why Live Messenger doesn't work as PocketMSN did on Windows Mobile 5. It may be the Vodafone ROM (though I have removed the files in the extended ROM). At the end of the day, on a Windows Mobile 5, it doesn't matter which version you use because you will only be doing text chat anyways, so if you can, stick with PocketMSN.
Hi all,
Search doesn't return a thread, so I am assuming this is not posted yet.
Basically, news today, Vodafone is going to offer free unlimited (well, 500MB is what they mean) mobile internet to all tariffs over £25. Existing customers however may want to check with them first.
Press release.

Finally! Now we just need O2 to catch up.
Thanks.

Who are people using as their hosted exchange provider?
I know there is alol.net.br which offers free accounts (or asks for a small donation). But how secure is your data?
MS seems to charge $10/month.
Godaddy just started offering hosted exchange services (not sure if it is $6.99 or $9.99 for 'mobile service').
What's the best (and cheapest) in your opinion?
Don't know about best or worst but I am using mail2web at $4.95 per month. Started when they were free and stayed when it went chargeable.

It sounds like they blook Outlook access for the $4.95/month plan, i.e. if you want to use Mobile + Outlook with your exchange account it's $9.95?
hadn't looked, i am happy with OWA and WM access, which i get for my $4.95
I see no point in having exchange if I can't use it with my laptop and my phone.
Godaddy support has now told me twice that the 6.99 plan includes activesync. I guess that would be the cheapest (and respectable) fully-functional exchange provider out there?
I personally use ALOL net on my Hand device and also Desktop. Able to Sync with Desktop is Great thing which actually makes Device/desktop sync no more really necessary!!!
ALOL seams a Large ISP in Brazil. How secure it is?? Difficult to say!! But it seems they are very customer focused and even for free service you get always prompt Service. Some one here in the forum (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=372453) also offering Push mail service for reasonable price!!!
Well if you consider Security then you have to go with large known hosted exchange provider (only because they have reputation to lose) but then you will have to pay 6.95-13$ per month
I do not know whether DENIAL is still accepting "subscribers", but check this out
