Problem is, that you cannot do this by yourself
Sascha
of course, parrot ck3000 can only be upgraded using a special kit or by a serial cable provided by parrot. in spain, you can upgrade it for free, in almost every dealer....

I have an email from O2 saying they are aware of the issues with blue tooth headsets
The Email started by saying the BT200 is approved for the XDA2
I then sent a email asking for an approval cert stating this is the case.
I know all Blue tooth headset are not compatable with XDA2
I have tested 5 manufactures and they all do the same thing
If the bluetooth headset is used when phone is on a desk the coverage is quite good.
Problem Is when you put the XDA2 in your pocket the coverage is crap it sound like a old fm radio station and you get poor audio quality both ways incoming and outgoing.
I will paste a copy of email from O2 below
Anybody else had any problems like this??
===============================================
Thank you for your email and apologies for the inconveniences you are experiencing.
This is indeed something we are aware of, and we too believe it is a problem with the device itself. We are currently liasing with the XDA manufacturers to try and resolve these issues, but I hope you can appreciate something like this is not going to be a quick fix.
I'm not sure if it will resolve the actual issues you are facing, but we are also releasing a ROM upgrade for the XDA II in feb/March (from www.my-xda.com) which should greatly improve the Bluetooth facility, which also includes scope for the handsfree functionality.
I appreciate that this is not the answer you were hoping for, but we are working to resolve these issues.
Kind regards
O2 Data Support

I have a SOny Ericsson HBH-35
The first one I bought wouldn't work at all with the XDAII - I though 'oh know', assuming it was the XDAII at fault.
I returned the headset - the shop tested it and found it to be faulty. Gave me a new one to try.
Works perfectly !
Bluetooth
Does it work in your back pocket ok
I tried one it did the same as the Bt200 but not as bad
Xda 2 bluetooth headset
HIIII
I have the Nokia HS-3W bluetooth headset for the Xda 2 and it works the treat....I have tried many other bluetooth headsets and this one is the best one by far. Hope this information will be helpful...
Hi,
I bought a second hand imate K-JAM a couple of weeks ago and immediately upgraded the ROM to WM6 (BlackDiamond 2.0). Ever since, everyone I talk with tells me they can barely hear me - my voice is too loud and they can hear even the faintest background noises. Because I had just bought the device and upgraded the ROM - I can't tell the reason for this problem - is it a hardware fault? Is it a problem with the ROM? Maybe I should upgrade the radio version? Or is there perhaps a software setting solution?
Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Are you using any BT headset? That can cause some problems...if not try changing to original radio, or the radio of your service provider.

Thanks for the quick reply! No, the problem exists only when not using a BT headset...(When using a BT headset the sound is clear).
The question is what is the most probable cause to this problem? The ROM, the radio, a hardware issue? Has anyone else encountered such a problem? I would try changing the ROM but there is one piece of software that is tied to the current version, ID-wise.
Thanks again!
OK - tried upgrading to the latest radio version - and no change.
Is there any way to play with the microphone settings - sensitivity, volume, etc.?
Thanks!
You should first flash a rom from your provider before flashing a rom from this site.

Thanks for the reply. What I meant was that the new radio had no change to the sound issue.
Hi, I am trying to use the desire with a parrot 3200. I have upgraded the parrot to the latest version of its software (2.12). The desire is on version 1.19, as it came out of the box. When I am dailing via the parrot I have no problems, when somebody is trying to get hold of me while I am in the car the parrot is ringing, I answer the phone and then I can't hear that person over the parrot, I hear the person over the speaker in the desire, not the car speakers.
Anyone suggestions?

Must be an android thing!
Hi
I've had this problem too. It only started after I installed the OTA update that came out last week. I did a factory reset of the phone, and this seems to have solved it.
I do still have periodic problems with it failing to sync the contacts. It seems to work randomly sometimes and not others. It's annoying, rather than a major problem, but I wish it would work consistently.
Try doing a factory reset and see if this sorts it out.

Good morning!
I have an issue with my Nokia BH - 218 bluetooth. After a random time I notice that the sound drops and comes back again (like renegotiation between the HTC sensation and the bluetooth). Then after a while I stop hearing from my bluetooth, the call isnt dropped but I cannot hear it from the cell phone either.
Is the radio version responsible for the bluetooth communication? Im on Viber 1.5.1 and on radio 11.59.3509.00P

Hi,
That is a very old radio.
Yes,bluetooth is controlled by the radio.
Are you s-off?
What is your hboot?
If so,you can upgrade your radio.
Look HERE
When someone calls me I can no longer hear their voice clearly over the phones ear piece speaker. The voice volume is very low and raspy or staticy. However, if I use headphones or a Bluetooth headset, I can hear voices just fine. I think the problem even effects speaker phone and some loud notifications too. I read that the fix could be a different radio or ril. I really don't want to buy a new part for this old phone, in hoping it's a software issue since I'm a flashaholic and I might have screwed up between roms.
It's a T-Mobile US htc sensation on firmware 3.33 and viper Rom 3.1.2 Sense 4+, radio 11.24A.3504.31M

Did you try changing your ROM? If that doesn't work, you can try flashing another radio (with caution).
However, if non of this works, it might be hardware related.
Thanks for replying... as a flashaholic, i've tried several roms but i dont think the radio is changed. Where could i find radios that match my firmware and service provider?
