With this patch you will be able to set Mp3's to your Ringotones.
wonder if this'll work with xda2i...or the other models as well including the xda2... :?:
PocketGear says that it's for O2 XDA II mini (Magican) only.

You have to go to explorer, tap-hold on a MP3 and choose set as ringtone. You also have to have MP3s registered to Windows Media Player.

Can't select bluetooth headset in audio tab
Hi,
Have installed this little app and trying out the features which I find interesting but my Bluetrek G2 headset is not shown in the drop down list box in the audio tab.
Is it possible with this add-on installed to listen to music thru the BT headset?
thanks
Mark
Mmmmmmmmm, yes this is intreaging, what the hell is it.

You made it man!!!!
This tool makes me hear Stereo Streaming Audio over Bluetooth!!
I used Himalaya with WM5 and Motorola HT820.
How it works:
1. After install delete your paired Headphone, hten pair again. You get a new Service called Audio.
2. In the new Tab "Audio" select you Headphone.
3. Softreset
I was searching for that for so long! THANKS!!!!!
I don't think this works on the Jasjar, I am now going to hard reset my phone it stuffed up all my audio, I should have asked first.
Extremely Disappointed !!!
Unfortunatly this thread was originally created on buzzdev's forum, the Himalaya wm2005 section. And I regret saying that stealing threads is not a profesional way of spreading info on the net.
As for the origin of the addon and for most of the answers for your questions, I suggest you go to the original thread ( Follow link below ).

However, there are still some problems!!! The stereo streaming audio over bluetooth headset (HT 820) gets pausing after a 1 minutes or 2 mintues or sometimes 30 seconds!
My xda II (WM5.0 1.62c 07CHS) can transfer streaming audio to HT 820 stereo bluetooth headset already without using this addon, but the above problem is suck!!!!
I have heard from someone say that my cpu is too fast and I have to slow it down by using hack master. I have done it but no luck!!!

My BA's bt disconnects when the ba goes off (automatically after 2min) and wont come on when the ba comes on. I also use HS820. how do you go about yours?
I installed this patch but it's now causing many troubles specially on soft reset...I tried to remove it from the Control Panel (Remove Programs) but it fails and says it's not removed completely & if i want to remove it from the installed programs list so i chose NO...Is there any way to get back to the old BT module or should i go to the painful Hard Resst..

With this little CAB, taken from Charmer by caramba_sda, you'll have a better sound, especially with your headphones. Worked fine for me
No uninstall possible, so if you're not sure backup your registry settings before.

What ROM is ' WM6 Crossbow Prislav v2' ? With Smart1 v2 there is no need to patch bt sound quality (at least for me ). On the other side, to uninstall this cab you must restore a saved backup copy of your actual \windows\wavedev.dll and restore/delete your actual reg key:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Drivers\WaveDev]
"Patch"="P1.00 Charmer"

Haven't speak about BT sound quality. I've tested it with normal earphones and I really have more detailed sound with. Just try music listening.

I need a way to improve sound quality for a BT car handsfree. When I'm on route, I hear so low the people on the other side.
Any idea?
Thanks and regards.
Nostramo
Nostramo, try to search for "Audiogain" on this forum.

I've tried in the past all audiogain values, but they don't improve volume on bt carkits. Only on headsets and bt earphones.
Nevertheless, thanks a lot.

Works best with Aku3.3 WM5.
thanks
have a nice day...

I used Audacity(at first) because I can trim any song in my existing library and still change the pitch and bitrate to make it louder. I hardly use custom ringtones now, but I tried the MP3 Trimmer .cab and that worked great.
ok i actually found a decent program to use but now my problem is that the volume that comes out of the phone is so low you can barely even hear it. any suggestions as to how to fix that?
Though I didn't make them from scratch, I "embraced and extended" some existing tones. Check the notifications section on my site which is in my sig.

so I’ve been paying attention to all of these threads and I think I’ve got ICR working (the first link worked pretty good. The other person is not very loud though). What I would LOVE is if I could get
ICR to start automatically for every call I make and receive. Is there any reg edit or program that will do this for me. The reason for this is I have a brain like Swiss cheese, I can’t remember anything. If I can record every phone call without having to remember to hit the record button every time, this phone will be able to do one more thing that makes my life that much easier.
In another thread someone sugested resco. it has the feature i want, but the recording is terrible. it records through the mic. i just wish i could get thhat feature with ICR.
Somewhere in the blackstone forum someone posted a registry tweak that would let resco use the default ICR component, so properly record the other end of the convo, cant remember the topic though, sorry! (just letting you know its possible)
There was some tweak whereby you used the built in ICR first, and then use the resco product, and it worked, not too sure though.
Cheers,
Mike.

I looked and looked. couldn't find anything using the terms "resco" and "record". i'm about to flash juicy 4.13 and will try resco again on a fresh flash. i hopehopehope it works. anyone have any other ideas?
Anyone know if ICR is working for the Vogue or any other QVGA device?

I know it's not free, but Vito Audio Notes is doing that for me. Every incoming and outgoing call is recorded without any user intervention. And without any anoying beeps. And quality of both sides of the converastion is perfect.

well, after flashing juicy 4.13 i tried resco again with the same results. this is so frustrating. resco has the feature i want, just not the ability. ICR has the ability, just not the feature. anyone have any ideas?

i'll check it out. just hope the quality is good. with resco i tested out on my voicemail and the playback was really low, but when i talked it was so loud it was distorted
vito working very good
vito is very good recorder but it has some minuses like if during a call i press power button to turn off screen it doesn't record cause its like suspend mode so i have to use s2u2 to turn screen off and record same time...
...except this vito is the best!
