i have a qtek_S200(HTC Prophet) which is :
IPL 2.09.0001
SPL 2.15.0001
OS 2.15.13.24
GSM 02.17.21
now,i have experienced a big problem like this:
i wanted to change the ROM of my phone to English..then i download a shiped Rom to flash it...
the shiped Rom i used was RUU_Prophet_1001321_100013102_11320_DopodAsia_shiped.exe....
But everytime i tried to Flash, the program said "ERROR(300):invalid update tool..this update utility cannot be used for your PDA phone.please get newer update utillity" when the phone proceeded to a reseting and turned to three colour mode....
So, that is way? someone plz help me..

2nd problem
the qtek S200 is CHT now, coz it ought to be ENG originallly, so it must be CID unlocked sometime ago...
unfortunlly, when i try to backup its Rom to SD card using MTTY by the code" r2sd all", like backing up a wizard' rom....but it said "you don't get the proper security level to download a specific image"..
Then i use the MachinaGod' lokiwizi and RapiUnlocker trying to unlock the CID, but it displays error and seems fail ..
so, guys plz help me ..

i tried to dump it's Rom using a MTTY, the code i input was " r2sd all", but it said that

You didn't get the proper security level to download a specific image
So it is fail......

I had the same problem with my JAMin. I messed up trying to flash it with a home-made ROM and the tool used to build the ROM put two G4 SPLs instead of one G3 and one G4. This caused my G3 JAMin to have a G4 SPL. It wouldn't boot past the "rainbow screen" and the IPL and SPL levels were similar to what you have now.
The solution for me was to have it repaired under warranty :roll:
My charmer is still under problem.
Actually problem is that.. My phone is G3 chipset.. but someone flashed it with G4 flash files.
and Its spl and ipl is 2.xx.xxx and phone is detect as G4 chipset.. but phone is G3..
NOW ANYONE can guide me how I can write G3 Ipl/spl

As I mentioned my JAMin was repaired under warranty. When it was returned to me they had replaced the main board. So it seems to be quite a problem to re-write the SPL if it has been flashed with the wrong type.
The new board has the G4 flash memory, so no more unlocking/downgrading adventures for me

Extract the RUU_Charmer_2060227_20602110_021921_T-MobileUK_Ship to a folder on your pc, than Extract the file i attached ("ROMUpdateUtility_Wizard_NoID.exe") into this folder. than connect your charmer to pc and double click on "ROMUpdateUtility_Wizard_NoID.exe".
cross your fingers.

Hi,
Yes You may be right, we need a ROM with only G3 IPL/SPL or only G3 SPL and if we can force this G3 SPL (I think JAFWM can do it but not sure) into the phone the problem will be solved.
But Question is where can we find this "RUU_Charmer_1120223_11202110_11220_T-MobileUK_Ship" as it is not available on net, the file on FTP is corrupt.
"RUU_Charmer_2060227_20602110_021921_T-MobileUK_Ship" have both G3 & G4 IPL/SPL and when we write this ROM into phone it writes G4 IPL/SPL as Phone is detected having G4 by every software.
Otherwise the only option left is "JTAG" but only one guy (ARC but he lives in Russia) know the test points for Charmer.
I solved this problem before using JAFWM dongle
just uncheck skip ipl/spl and try flash
it will flash ur mobile with the correct IPL and SPL

can u please confirm me that you had same problem of G4 SPl on G3 DOC.
Because JAFWM detects my phone as G4 DOC and the ROM you mentioned has both G3 & G4 SPL so I think It will try to write G4 SPL not G3.

just detect ur phone in JAFWM , chose the nk file for ur charmer , uncheck skip ipl/spl then flash
in that way i think ur mobile will be revived again

BTW, how do you know if your machine is G3 or G4? By looking if your unit is P200 or P300? And to confirm,
SPL 2.06.0001 only works on G3?
SPL 2.15.0001 only works on G4?

I Do Upgrade for my JAMIN with PDAMobiz_Prophet_WM5AKU3.2_v3220 & it was Succeed With out any trouble
Than I Try to upgrade to 2006-11-12_Prophet_WM5AKU2.3_lvsw_edition but my Phone Stack So I reset as say after 30 m (about 48m)
The Baggiest Problem for me after reset my Jamin Stack in Booting (Just show Rom Version & Other) after that noting Happen..
I tray to format But also same. I tray to boot from USB & Install Original ROM I get This Error

Second you should read before flashing your device... ...you havn't provide us with enough info, is your device CID unlocked? What SPL version do you have, do you have an G3 of G4 device?
Did you try to turn on your device and on the 3 color screen execute the PDAMobiz_Prophet_WM5AKU3.2_v3220 again?

I did it & connect to usb but when i execute the PDAMobiz_Prophet_WM5AKU3.2_v3220 it's show me No Device Connect

You had to CID unlock your phone first!
The only thing you can do I guess is install the NoVendorID Asia version for the Dopod.
You can't install the PDAMobiz ROM because there has to be an AS connection.
Try looking for: RUU_Prophet_2151327_21513121_021921_DOP_ASIA_WWE_Ship-NoVendorID.zip on the XDA ftp.

You should try to flash your device with the ROM mentioned before.
After that you can try to CID Unlock your phone:

I try to flash my device with ROM RUU_Prophet_2151327_21513121_021921_DOP_ASIA_WWE_S hip-NoVendorID.zip and I was very happy because it’s start to flash ROM but after rich 95% it’s stop and show me Error INVALED COMMAND ... I tray many times but all same
Even my device now when ever I turn ON it’s go to boot loader mode

my prophet g4 device accidently flashed with 2.21 of wizard............
it was dead but now alive !!!!!!
cut of charger 2 wires inside. the + one (white) to pin1 of battery and the other wire to lowest pin 5. of the high voltage ur device will enter bootloader and stay in it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
connect usb cable and it will recognized =))))))))))))))
u can flash now to your earlier rom. in my case wwe 2.20 qtek rom with success. NOW device booting up again showing 2.21.0001 IPL AND SPL
but its working =))))))))))))

maybe you can repair your bootloader now.
I have an idea of how you could do it with g3.
Is your cid locked?
Is your phone g3 or g4?

UPDATED NOW NEW TESTS DONE. IPL SPL = 2.21
if i use prophet roms now everything is slow on device not usuable. i have to use wizard roms LOL. only problem then no sound is working. but replacing dll from prophet gives u sound back again. ........ THIS IS ****ING BULL****. anyway its usuable again now. i flashed now the fucing pbootloader of wizard into my device..........................
Hardreset does not work anymore if holding camera and other button it goes again back to bootloader now i need to find out how u do a hard reset on wizard LOL.
anyway i need a IPL AND SPL From prophet ............... extracting ipl and spl from qtek prophet and traslating it making a new nbf results in a flash process but after i stays on old IPL SPL ....................... ill report soon more about this strage problem having a wizard bootloader on Prophet.

that that works is really strange^^ thank you though again you rescued my device hope its gonna work for me I'll report in the next days...
so if I'm doing thats right the whole thing is working, while you are connecting the wires get don't plug the wall chargare in so you don't have elictricity and cover up the rest of the pins im not sure if thats necessary but you don't wanna brick your phone even more the phone is turning of though as soon as you disconnect the wires... i'm having a prophet rom on it right now i'm trying a wizard rom now...
alright im running the wizard aku 3.2 rom now. its working very well except that i have to wires coming out of the back of my pda.
but ipl downgrade might be possible from there... so thank ýou alot the solution works

UPDATE: IM NOW ON 2.26 TMOBILE WIZARD NOW WITH IPL AND SPL 2.26 THIS IS WORKING ****ING GOOD AND TRUST ME ITS FASTER THAN MY PROPHET WAS EARLIER WITH PROPHET BOOTLOADER.
GET THE TMO 2.26 from FTP and flash it. it will update ur device (IPL + SPL )too 2.26 never mind of it
IPL DOWNGRADE is NO PROBLEM FOR ME u can extract rom hex edit the ipl part and version number i did that already my ipl now is again to low number (custom) 2.01 but spl i coudnt find out to edit. im working with winhex and primary memory editing since this is very dangerous i dont suggest to do it. only experienced users should do that

NO need to i will explain in detail.
1. Take ur phone and put it on ur table =)
2. Turn it so u can see the camera
3. On the right u see 6 Pins.
4. The Pin 1 is nearest to Camera
5. Pin 5 would be far away from camera.
u got it now ?
it worked for me with the sixth pin to by the way but that might be why it doesn't work without the wires for me yet.
did you cover up the other pins alphazero?
you were able to flash a lower bootloader back onto the device right with some kind of hexedit application or something?
I think a lot of users would be glad if you could upload a rom that can downgrade the ipl and spl including me , as you said it requires a lot of skill to cook the right rom...

I could do compile a rom that downgrades ipl to whatever u want. the spl is coded and i need to find the place in a spl rom where version id is written.
i found out that the update rom process checks version id.
so theory is fooling of a lower rom a higher rom id. this means your downgrade rom will have a higher rom id.
im working on it right now. i have to do some test on university right now like many others please be patient.

uhm no the battery pins was because our device did only turn on if it was plugged into the charger, which meant you couldn't plug it into the usb at the same time to flash a new rom.
your problem is different and can't be solved with that solution... sorry sd goldcard i guess

I today installed the RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_NVID Rom on my existing Smart 1v2 it went fine but then at 95% it stopped saying .nbf file not supported with ur model now it only opens in bootloader mode n when i tried the JAMin orignal ROm JAMin_213923_2139126_022021_ship it says get a new one

Put the device into bootloader and flash with an official ROM.
The device only opens in bootloader now n by da way i cannot use my imate official Rom so which should i try now............
Try downloading the official i-mate Jamin ROM. When you've downloaded the ROM skip the first to steps. Before it checks the device reset the device so you will have an USB connection. If you wait to long the USB connection gets lost.
You did a mistake when you upgrade to the useless 3.08 IPL SPL, I think you have less feature now with official ROMs
You can't flash your phone with any official NBF (ROM) unless you unlock the CID, to downgrade IPL SPL
Unlock your CID I think you have a G3 device and you can install any ROM you want, if you don't what G3 mean, look what G device you have in the WIKI
If you have G4 the only solution is Extract the NBF and make a new one without IPL SPL and you can install any ROM you want
But you didn't brick your phone ask before any step you will make before you brick it

No - once you have upgraded ipl/spl you are stuck with them. Do not got to v 3.08!!!

Doesnt matter now if im stuck well it WORKED my JAMin is again alive Thanks a lot again for telling me the link n thanks a lot for helping everyone out with the nb2nb tools n stuff n all the instructions n thanks to everyone for their advices All u senior members rock...........................

try to upgrade to latest Radio Rom and then try to upgrade the latest rom u would see its running ok

If you have install IPL/SPL 3.08 ... no downgrade in the moment!
Wats the advantage of this IPL SPL 3.08
i have only seen one change n its that I cant get my imate rom back without editing it n removing IPl Spl from it...............
u try try this method.
i found the solution. i get this <RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_NVID>
rom before. i try this rom can complete to fixed the bootloader screen!

i think maybe the wm6 rom cht have the problem , then make the machine cannot finish to flash the system.
