There's a blatant shortage of original ppc games out there, so I give you my concept:

I can render all the art assets and I have people who can do music/voice - now I just need ppc coders.
It's kinda a 3D pre-rendered ride utilizing the touch screen interface unique to ppc to get you feeling as if you were in the cockpit.
You control the gunpod/weapons systems but not the flight path, your sexy female pilot does all the flying.
What do you think of the idea?
if you don't control the flight path, isn't this just a 2d shooter with nice background? Like Operation Wolf!? Al you've got to do is tap on the asteroids/tie fighters etc?
Just a suggestion for the gameplay - in one of the pics you've indicated the player is taking hits from behind. That will be impossible to prevent/predict in a 2d on-rails shooter - so perhaps something like the scanner in elite, as a radar, will allow you to 'see' what's going on behind you. However, doing that in 320*240 won't be easy I guess!

Actually, off the top of my head there's two ways to prevent it - as indicated you can set shields forward or rear, also, if there is a section of the level where you are being attacked from behind; the turret (pre-rendered camera) can just turn around and look behind the ship for awhile - it'd appear dynamic even though it was (all) pre-conceived.
And yes, it's a shooter with a nice background, not really like op wolf though.. i'd say more like einhander + mechwarrior II + rebel assault.
really so little interest?
looks very nice for a spacesim. More detail, upgrades, powerups, options..multiplayer?...
Yes there is alot of different configurations for weapons and so forth planned - I really want to achieve the level of customizability and interaction in mechwarrior II (I always remembered how I loved the way you had to powerup and setup your mech before heading in to battle) and weapons configurations inspired by the classic einhander backed by a great story that makes you want to play over and over.
I was thinking of making a demo video but if I can't find coders, it's all for not..
ok where can i get it from ?????
Looks very good to me

Bro, it's still under developement.
Nice game, can't wait to beta test
Is it any harder coding for ppc than other platforms?
Is it similar to programming for x86, just compiled differently?
There just seems to be so little out there...
Look for a book called Win CE Application Programming.

I can't go learning how to program, it's too far from my field. I really need volunteer coders.

It looks easy. Too bright green as for me. Controls are not comfortable
Nice concept, I think the graphics and performance need a little polish, also it should default to landscape as my device had huge portrait borders above and below the game area.
Thanks for the feedback , I left the auto-rotate to 4 directions because of so many different devices but you can use either portriat or landscape mode it supports all. I will work on my art skills haha. I tested the game on various devices and didn't have problems with the controls. I missed Super Mario Land for Gameboy so I made something similar styled.
Thanks for the feedback anymore would be helpful.
Hello,
I like this kind of game. It's always fun but indeed, I think also background when I play is too bright green. Characters needs perhaps to be more refined.
Keep up the good work .
Sylvain
Thanks for the feedback its wierd how different devices display like some are just right and some display the green as too bright.
Cool. The colors are a bit bright. I guess it's too late now, but for your next project I'd suggest that you check this site out: http://www.pixelfor.me/crc/ <-- It's great for when you're making retro style games.
Good job though

Thanks I never seen this site and tools before. Its just like the color style used in the old NES days. Thanks!!
I found the controls difficult. I don't know if it was intended but I found it easier to slay enemies by jumping right when they got next to me rather than attempt to land on their heads.

What device do you have? I know on devices older than SSG 3 and below the controls are sometimes sluggish.
My next game I might make something easier to control like a runner. This time I was just inspired by platformers and the old gameboy.
Superland Platformer is still up and I was thinking to do a part 2. What are your thoughts?

Hello XDA,
I wanted to present our first finished project: Ted's Mower!
The game is based on classic arcade games like Pac Man and Hover Bovver, where you collect grass or flowers and try to avoid those who are out to get you. The game was made with Unity3D.
The game is free to download at the link below. Please let me now what you think!

Description:
With your trusted stolen mower you set out to mow the grass and flowers of Bovverstreet. Unfortunately, not everyone agrees. Dodge Ted, Ned and Zed who want their mower back. Evade the neighbour while you plough through her flowerbeds and keep an eye out for your dog Bobby, who is always looking for someone to play with.
The game contains 20 hand crafted levels with three different challenges each, enough to keep the player busy for hours. Three different difficulties make the game suitable for beginners and hardcore gamers alike. Record and share your video's using Everyplay.

Good work. I like it! I am a little bit concerned that you record a video in the background while one plays, since this eats up resources/power unnecessarily(from the viewpoint of the player). It should be possible to switch this off.
Other then that, good work!

Thanks. The video only records on devices that can handle it. It should not be too much of an impact on newer devices.
The game is good. I do get a Pac-man feel from it like you said.
I enjoyed the game quite a bit!
The graphics and the overall presentation is REALLY nice, I'm definitely getting a PvZ vibe, with the dude telling me what to do, the garden theme and the mower itself.
My main problem with it is that the game gets hectic quite quickly. Even the tutorial was HARD for me. And the control scheme even makes it more hectic as I often obscure important parts of the screen with my hand and then lose track of the enemies. Also, I didn't like the tap on the dog mechanic, because it turned the game into a resource management game (in terms of managing my time tapping on the dog and controlling the mower).

I heard this from more users. I already lowered the difficulty by a lot, but I guess it needs a bit of tuning at easy mode. I tried to make the game a bit hectic, because that is where the difficulty comes from. The old arcade games used to be hectic as well and I tried to reproduce that. The obscuring of the screen was one thing I was afraid would happen. When I started this, I did not know if the controls would work. You get used to it once you get the hang of it, but I admit, it is not perfect. The first versions of the game required you to have your finger on the screen at all times. I changed that to now only to have to tap the screen to send the mower somewhere. It is better now, but I think hand held devices are not ideal for this type of game.
Thanks for the comments!
Hello,
I would like to present you Hoverdroid 3D, the first radio controlled hovercraft game on android!
Take control of a radio-controlled hovercraft in a park, with a skatepark, a water basin and a mogul field!
The hovercraft can drive on all types of terrain: earth, water, snow. And even in the air!
Equipped with wings, your hovercraft can fly like a plane, an aircraft or a glider!
This vehicle with air cushion does not touch the ground. It is raised a few inches with 3 powerful turbines that maintain it and stabilize it in the air.
This is the most multi-purpose vehicle in the world !!

A new update is now available More speed, more controls, and improving gameplay !
Hi,
nice game :good:.. hope it will be a successfull game
btw, what did you use to handle the 3d design?
I'm an indie game developer, and I have a plan to make 3d game. but, It's really hard to design everything in 3d.. haha
btw, this is my 2d game :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/game-circle-maze-creative-puzzle-game-t3054542
The game is quite nice and the difficulty to control is what would keep people playing it. A couple of things that you might consider: Level 2 - The bonus above the tree, in the middle of the map, I think it's impossible to reach that height with the current impulse of the vehicle and Level 3 is nice but you can finish the check point by passing through the cones in the opposite way too, which shouldn't be possible I guess. Also, Adding way more achievements, sounds effects and music is highly recommended because it improves the gameplay experience and could make people play more.
Hello, thank you for your feedback.
I use Unity 3D to make this game. It is free, you can try it.
To get the bonus at the top of the tree, you have to do the level 6, and get wings.
You are right for the check point. i will fix that monday.
If you can put five stars on google play, it will help me a lot.
Have a nice day
Michael
New update again ! Iam waiting for your feed back

Very nice 3d art, Can I ask you what software to make the 3d graphic?
Are you using unity3d?
And is it hard to make the screen size to fit on any android?
I am new to unity3d, haha
Hope I am not bother you.
Hello,
Yes I have used Unity 3D for this game. And Blender for the 3D models

[Dev story]
Stacked started out as a school assignment, a functional Android game displaying textures, handling input, playing sound, scale and interrupt properly. It's my first venture into Android development and my first published game, but I have some experience with game development.
After some research I decided to use LibGDX and I love it so far. It has everything you would need to get a simple 2D game and extending the game with Box2D physics, Admob ads, Play Games Leaderboards & Achievement was a breeze. Its completely open source and free to use so very useful for starting developers, and no required splashscreen.
[Game]
Stacked is a real-time physics cube stacking game where you have to balance your stack using your device accelerometer. You can quickly stack cubes by tapping, and stacking a bomb (gray with red outline) will blow up part of your stack which you can survive, but it's better to throw them away by swiping. Wind will slowly start pushing your stack left or right randomly so focus on keeping the stack straight, not the phone.
As mentioned above Google Play Games Leaderboards are implemented so you can check out the current scores and set a high score. I've implemented some achievements and there are more to come.
Because of the accelerometer gameplay, screenshots won't clearly depict gameplay, but the arrow in the top of the screen indicates the rotation and wind.

I like the game idea and how it combines a rather standard touch control with the accelerometer. Also, the vibration feedback feels good. Will you also add sound and some background music in the future?

I haven't really done any work towards music and sound as I'm not really capable of producing. I've looked trough some 100% free libraries, but haven't found something that matches. I'll add it as soon as I find something that fits.
pretty good game

Hello, did somebody test the game?
Are you the developer of this game ??
Yes I am. I have developed this game during 6 month.
Hello,
DO you have test the game? On which device?
Do you have lag ?
An update is available. I have added 3 new planes
Hi @myke38,
this is actually a lot of fun - great job so far!
I'm on a Oneplus 7 pro and gameplay is smooth with graphics on "high"
Occational glitch like a slightly floating wall; nothing serious (I guess those are a real pain to hunt down and debug given the vast size of the game area). So far no deal breakers, game/landscapes/planes look beautiful.
Controls are good in all - flying "feels" absolutly right. And I like the cars as well (yea ). And I like the fact that controls are not too hyperrealistic. More like if MSFlightSimulator and GTA had had a baby ( ).
Some control elements tend to be a little hard to hit - e.g. I'd retract the landing gear while actually trying to fasten the seat belt coz they're to close.
One suggestion about controls, if I may, I like steering the planes in normal control mode, but the cars handle better for me in left-handed control mode. Maybe you could consider makeing this an option.
Two more things I've noticed: on misson loading screens there is a hint line being shown in the lower left corner - that on always shows the same one message. Secondly on the gps the markers (position of avatar and missions) are just a little off their actual relative positions, makeing sometimes hard to tell where the next mission really is (again, the area you can roam is huge!)
Keep up the excellent work - hopefully you find the time to give this beauty some more fine tuning. She's worth it
Cheers!
A very good graphics!
Hello,
Thank you very much for all your comments and your suggestions.
I will add them in the next update, that will be available next week.
I will tell you when the update is published.
Again thank you for your review.
Michael
Really cool game. I'm not a fan of simulators but your game is addictive. Great job.
Very good job! I only wish plane explosions to be stronger
You've made it in 6 month? Really cool. What game engine do you use?
Hey man,
Can I play this game on my flight simulator setup? Or any other device like that. Let me know if you have idea about that.
