Hello XDA,
I wanted to present our first finished project: Ted's Mower!
The game is based on classic arcade games like Pac Man and Hover Bovver, where you collect grass or flowers and try to avoid those who are out to get you. The game was made with Unity3D.
The game is free to download at the link below. Please let me now what you think!

Description:
With your trusted stolen mower you set out to mow the grass and flowers of Bovverstreet. Unfortunately, not everyone agrees. Dodge Ted, Ned and Zed who want their mower back. Evade the neighbour while you plough through her flowerbeds and keep an eye out for your dog Bobby, who is always looking for someone to play with.
The game contains 20 hand crafted levels with three different challenges each, enough to keep the player busy for hours. Three different difficulties make the game suitable for beginners and hardcore gamers alike. Record and share your video's using Everyplay.

Good work. I like it! I am a little bit concerned that you record a video in the background while one plays, since this eats up resources/power unnecessarily(from the viewpoint of the player). It should be possible to switch this off.
Other then that, good work!

Thanks. The video only records on devices that can handle it. It should not be too much of an impact on newer devices.
The game is good. I do get a Pac-man feel from it like you said.
I enjoyed the game quite a bit!
The graphics and the overall presentation is REALLY nice, I'm definitely getting a PvZ vibe, with the dude telling me what to do, the garden theme and the mower itself.
My main problem with it is that the game gets hectic quite quickly. Even the tutorial was HARD for me. And the control scheme even makes it more hectic as I often obscure important parts of the screen with my hand and then lose track of the enemies. Also, I didn't like the tap on the dog mechanic, because it turned the game into a resource management game (in terms of managing my time tapping on the dog and controlling the mower).

I heard this from more users. I already lowered the difficulty by a lot, but I guess it needs a bit of tuning at easy mode. I tried to make the game a bit hectic, because that is where the difficulty comes from. The old arcade games used to be hectic as well and I tried to reproduce that. The obscuring of the screen was one thing I was afraid would happen. When I started this, I did not know if the controls would work. You get used to it once you get the hang of it, but I admit, it is not perfect. The first versions of the game required you to have your finger on the screen at all times. I changed that to now only to have to tap the screen to send the mower somewhere. It is better now, but I think hand held devices are not ideal for this type of game.
Thanks for the comments!

Hi All,
I just want to show you a sneak peek of a new game I'm developing for Android,
called "Noogra Nuts".
It works well on both phones and tablets. Although the resolution is not optimized for tablets, it still looks good.

Let me know what you think about it, any feedback will be highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Oren
Looks good so far man. I would throw in some power-ups though. Maybe add some multipliers for the score.
Thanks for the feedback.
I'm planing on adding more features, achievements and power-ups,
But it will probably be added on game updates.
Probably it is going to be released today
I'll send a market link once it is published.

It looks nice. I'll definitely give it a whirl .
I've just released the Game:

Oren..Nice one..I shall install it...and Congratulations on your work...You are one of a kind....Good work and keep it up...
Downloaded, installed and played for a little bit and wow!! very good!!! very clean and nice touch on that "quit" botton. Not many app have an "exit or quit" botton so it always stay in memory.
Just tested and, it's fun !
Keep on the good work
It looks like it will suck the life out of me for a while. Niiiice.
Man I wish I could draw like that Maybe you could add birds or objects flying overhead that you can hit with the nuts, and maybe give the nuts sideways trajectory when hitting them, so yo can steer the nuts to the birds.
Please let the app flip with the screen (just flip, not rotate). When I'm charging my TF, I hold it upside down so that the power cable isn't drilling a hole in my stomach.
Nice game and nice graphics. I'm not a fan of tilt-controls and a normal thumb control (or swiping) would be nice (you would probably have to have multiple high score lists).
A combo multiplier would indeed be nice and some power ups could add another dimension. Fe: add one that slows down time or decreases gravity. Or a clock that would give you 5 seconds extra time.
It was quite fun and difficult but after the level ended, my tablet froze and i had to restart it.
CopyCat73,
I did the programming, my younger brother is the artist
I didn't encounter any issues with my tablet, but if it freezes it might be a bug on the OS.
I'll see if I can support flipping, I hope it is not too complicated.
Thanks for a fun game. Very nice design.

Same thing here. Had to hard reset. Fun game though
I'll give you a tip on how to achieve a high score:
For every 8 Nuts you eat, you receive a wave of nuts falling in a diagonal shape.
And every time the wave will be with a higher valued nut, in the following order:
Acorn, Walnut, Macadamia, and the Golden Nut.
The golden nut gives you 100 points every time you crack or eat it, so a wave of them will give you lots of points
Wow...very nice....looks good and fun to play....
Nice job!
Very nice game! I downloaded your other apps too.
Indeed, the game is very playable and the graphics looks just awesome, Your brother definitely have a talent May I ask what kind of software he used? It looks like a vector graphics so presumably Adobe Illustrator?
One more time, great job! Keep it going!
Heh, he said nuts.

I think it wound be awesome if I can connect another phone via wifi-direct or bluetooth.
Anyway, much thx. Will try it on my phone.
Game works great! Pong in all its glory. My only suggestion, my finger covers the paddle (I have banana fingers) so it's difficult to see exactly where the paddle is to get that exact shot I need. Maybe a ghost paddle just a few centimeters above so you know exactly where you're at? Great game!

Hey Njstein,
thanks for your valuable feedback. I have banana fingers too so I understand your frustration, lol. I just didn't want to waste a lot of the screen space because some devices are incredibly small. As a compromise I implemented it so you can control your paddle from any position in your half of the screen
best regards,
Samir

Hey,
thanks a lot for the nice feedback. Implementing different skins is actually a very nice idea. I'm already on it

Just a quick observation- I thought the original idea was to 'slide' the platform from left to right across the screen to get to where the ball will cross the baseline and deflect it upwards again. However, you can just place your finger anywhere across the screen and the platform will appear directly below that point. I'm not sure if this was intended, but it makes the game extremely easy, and very different to the game I remember playing! I think the platform should only slide from side to side, and not 'jump' from one position to another. (Or maybe people like it the way it is, I would be interested to know what you think).

Hey,
very good observation actually. I was actually wondering what is the better way to do it. I implemented the other approach as well that only allows sliding but people didn't seem to find the game very "responsive" then. They had always expected that the paddle would jump to be below their finger for some reason. Maybe because of the nature of touch devices these days. Thank you very much for your GREAT feedback.

Samir

Game made with Unity, also we used 2dToolKit, PUN+ and Parse.
This game available on Android, iOS and WP8 and players from different platforms can play with each other.
Neon Battleground uses dynamic system for player connection. If you don't have internet connection or at this time there no players on the server - you will play with AI driven enemies, otherwise you will play with real people. (My english is not so good, I hope I explained it clearly)
I would be happy to receive some feedback.
Thanks !

Cool looking game, muliplayer really will give you an edge over most other games out there.
One thing I noticed however is that you don't have a promo video that is easily view-able.
I had to look you up on youtube to find a video of gameplay.
Other than that, good work.
Few promo codes for in game coins for xda users (Gear icon in main menu -> enter code):
xda-XNXCKQP
xda-MAVLEPF
xda-MAJROQB
xda-RTOMBRA
xda-THKANFR
nice games
reminds me to pew pew. I like that games so much
I will give a try with this
Thanks

All promo codes is used, so here few more:

xda-MVJSGRP
xda-VBVKEPA
xda-QMGGKLA

And I need your feedback.
It's very fun! I wish I could find some more challenging opponents though ;P
I'd suggest more maps in general. I'm loving the mix of the 3 or 4 I've been seeing. I'd love to see some more. Possibly even user-created one someday.
I'd also like some in-game leader boards. The google play charts are strange to me. I'd rather have some player charts based on kills, deaths, kills/deaths, longest living times, etc. Bring in some more stats to brag about.
And finally, the coolest feature I'd love to see would be to join a friend, or find a friend.
It's been pretty random if we all end up in the same games, and love playing those matches with each other.
All-in-all, it's super fun for a fast paced little shooter. Reminds me a bit of the unreal matches I used to love playing.
Keep it up!:good:
Pretty good; simple fun
I think having levels to get skill points to upgrade ships aren't a great idea though, it generally decreases the motivation to try more different ships as you play more, since it gets harder to level and thus harder to fully upgrade an entirely new ship, which is unfortunate.
Perhaps some sort of tutorial or how to play section would help beginners realize the importance of the shields; I notice many players ( including lvl 30 +) ignoring the shield powerups.
More things to spend coins on would be nice too, since after you get one 9000 coin ship you tend to stick with it for a while and the coins rack up,
I absoluty love the look of this. What engine did you use?
I think it says unity in the intro
tapa'd on my moto x
Thanks for your feedback guys !
Yes, this game made with Unity, as I wrote in first post.
We working on update now with more cool new features like new ships, maps, online saves, web version and other.
Hey everyone! My two man company JuKeWare Games just released our first game on Android and we would love some feedback!
The game is Defend Your Sandwich. It's a silly, light-hearted game that involves flicking insects away from your sandwich to keep them from devouring it.
EDIT: (Cant seem to get youtube to embed, Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gV-hyP_NXpE)
At its heart, Defend Your Sandwich is a wave defense game. Each wave you get to make modifications to your sandwich by adding more meats, cheeses, vegetables and other toppings all of which affect gameplay in various ways. Some will net you more money per round, others will directly impede the insects. Some take the fight to the insects directly to help you out.

There are many different types of insects each with their own unique capabilities including several bosses that pose a serious threat to your Sandwich. The game was designed to appeal to a casual audience-- but there is a deep level of strategy involved if you want to make it to the later waves. Designing a Sandwich that balances survive-ability, offensive capabilities, and of course being delicious can be quite difficult and fun! We have also included a combo system so you can get bonuses for creating well known and tasty sandwiches (think BLT as an example), track your progress in the Records screen and try to find them all!
So if you guys have some time, give the game a download and let me know what you think! All reviews, ratings and comments are appreciated.
Good luck and happy defending!

Updated to version 1.0.3 fixing a few issues and improving memory efficiency.
Interesting game. Nice concept - it looks like a lot of fun. Will you consider adding leader boards of some kind? It would be nice if you could challenge your friends and other players. Good luck with the development!
I remember a game where ants attack you on a picnic and you could build towers to defend your food. Really reminds me of that flash game
Very fun, the interface takes some studying to understand everything. Maybe it would help if you had an invisible wall high above the screen, I found that I was flicking the ants away and it would take almost a whole minute for them to fall back down and it made levels take too long

We are definitely considering adding leader boards. I personally have never liked having to sign in to a third party system though. So we would probably look into something either homemade or lightweight.

There is a maximum upwards velocity that we allow an insect to have. This should prevent anything from being up in the air for too long. That being said we kept it relative high as we felt that was one of the more amusing parts of the game. No insect should remain in the air for longer than about 10-15 real seconds. If you are seeing times longer than that there might be an issue on our end somewhere.
Thanks everyone for the feedback! We really appreciate it!
Hi
Mad Digger.
The treasure lies at a depth of more than 100 yards. That's a job for the Mad Digger! :good:
Once Grandpa Pecos decided to share a secret with his grandson — there's a hidden treasure buried somewhere on the former mine. But there's one problem. The treasure lies very deep underground at a depth of more than 100 yards! Then the grandson thought about his friend, the Mad Digger. He's the only one to get things done.
Your task is to dig deeper and deeper until you find the treasure. It's not as simple as it seems. The oxygen runs out with every descent, you need to extract minerals to improve your equipment and tools as well as to buy grenades and dynamite to make the descent faster. :fingers-crossed:

someone try play my game? I want hear your opinions
Hi!
I've tried out your app/game! My initial thoughts are:
I've played quite a few miner games (which is one of my favourite genres!) And this one has taken a nice twist on it. I like that I don't have to climb back up to the top to sell my loot. I like that you've kept it simple, with 2 buttons for directions. And the graphics are nice as well.
Pros:
* Blocks that also kill you! Nice addition! Makes sure that the player doesn't just AFK straight down! (However I thought it was harsh that using dynamite (and I'm assuming grenades) result in death if they blow up a "death" block.)
* You've incorporated a few different versions in one game! The first being the "collect minerals and upgrade" and the second being an obstacle course.
Cons:
* I would like it if the black blocks could be destroyed by axe as well. Even if they required 10 hits. It really sucks being trapped and unable to continue on my path.
* Wish I could upgrade the items more than 3 times.
Suggestions:
* Provide a description of each item. Perhaps when you click on the image of it? For example: The Oxygen tank... does it slow the decrease of oxygen? Provide more oxygen tanks? or does it increase the amount of oxygen bonus when you collect a tank?
* Perhaps start the player with 2-3 Grenades/Dynamites/Radwaters so that the player can get "hooked" on these items early in the game and they will become interested in purchasing them!
* Can't see how many gems/minerals I have when I'm purchasing items since it is behind the "Disable Ads" button.
* Add more oxygen tanks below the wall of black blocks so that players can continue to descend into the ground.
Bugs Found:
* When you click the button for the Free 15 Grenades, the popup says 20 Free Grenades, and then you're rewarded with 15 Grenades.
Continue the great work! I'm looking forward to the future updates

Hey scorp2007,
played your game and gotta say that I love your icon and Google Play presentation graphics.
After hitting wall of black bricks I thought it's over, reading comment from LochdownStudios makes me realize I need to bomb my way through.
Overall good game, keep it up.
Thanks for your feedback
i upload a new version:

- Small changes in shop-panel (add resources panel)
- Black blocks break now with a pick 7 strikes
- Changed some prices in the shop
Thanks
