please any help my xda2s sreen is frozen , i tried reseting but noting has happened,even though i can recieve calls, i am stack at da setup which says tap screen to setup.

them as you are more calm tell us what device it is and give more info about what was you doing
so get your hands dirty and dont panic i you are like me i did spent a lot in my first one and get frustated if it cliches.....help us to help you if we can

Hello, thankyou everyone who takes the time to read this and to help. My HTC Touch Pro, the screen is completely black, it turns on and I can recieve calls and I know the keyboard works, but I cant even tell who it is or what I'm typing since the screen is blacklight and won't show anything. It powers on and off and charges and i can hear the sounds so I think its just a problem with the screen.
I've tried MyMobiler and Pocket Controller, but both cant work for me because I first need to connect to Activesynce or Windows Mobile Device Center, but I can't even see the password I'm typing so I can't unlock the phone to view it on my computer (( so I can't get it to connect to activesync or WMDC.
I really wish it was'nt locked with a password because then everything would be easier I'm so upset by this DDD:
I can't hard reset either because I can't see the screen at all.
Should I try to open it up and replace the screen&digitizer myself? I really don't want to try spending extra money fooling around with the phone if I'm not sure it'll work.
What I'd really love to know, does anybody know how to view the phones screen on the computer without having to unlock the password first from the phone? If anyone can help me with that or find some other method than I'd realyREALLYReallyyyy appreciate that sooo much. I could just type the password from the computer or hard reset and everything.
Or if theres any other method of fixing this that would help too...
Also, I can't take it to Sprint store because its out of warranty/insurance, so
I'm just trying to repair it myself. I've heard of this happening to people before but have'nt ever seen it get fixed.

Have you tried "Hard-Resetting" using the 3 Key Combo? (Hardware Mode)
Or were you trying with the "Clear Data" option? (Software Mode)
I had this when I went snowboarding with my Touch Pro. Turns out slamming the slider shut quite hard fixed the problem.

the setup of all ruin goes as far as the grey background where he shows the percentage, but 0%, or 1% restarts always... G4 neither I can refresh it, because he restarts there... because I rehearsed almost all methods already, but one are out of order... some idea?

I realised it what's wrong... down the accumulator is sinking, but that trouble that with what the telephone does not start normally, I cannot charge it... does not display it that pours does not fill it. He does not have a vein some solution??

I have recently started facing a problem where when i open my QWERTY keyboard screen goes blank and shows a bright light.
all other things functions well. like if m playing songs it will continue or if i wish to dial some1 i can.
Can some1 suggest me how to fix this.

You can restore the factory settings or reflash the rom. If the problem persists, the cable or screen of the phone may be broken.
I have already done the reset available in phone.
i have also tried updating and putting new ROM but everytime i do that i get errors like " Image currupted" or " Invalid vendor ID" I have even tried unlocking the phone using USPL n stuffs but no use. (Probably m not doing it rite )
The problem with phone is when openin the QWERTY keypad the display goes blank or hazzy n returns after some 30 seconds(Display time our time)
Dont know wat to do
and now the green flashy led is also not working
whenever i connect my phone to PC it shows RED light there
dont know wats happening

Most probably the flex cable that connects the upper and lower body has a problem. Probably the connector at the lower part has come loose slightly and opening the device pulls the flat cable edge to bend the connector so that you see the effect you describe.
You will not be able to fix it without opening the device - and this is not simple with the VOX. Do not try to fix that without opening the device as you may completely kill the flat cable this way.

You will not solve a HW problem with new SW. Get a good dis-assembly guide for the VOX - this will help you.

As off now i have just completed updating a new ROM (Windows Mobile 6.5 Official by frauhottelmann) It is nice and good but as u suggested hasnt resolved my problem
Also Audio manager isnt working for me

Be careful nitin !!! you'd better bring it to a service center , than you lose warranty just because seal is broken when you try to open it ..
There is no warranty after 3 years, I think - at least not in Germany
hey there, i hope someone can help me...
so i updated my t-mobile germany brandad omnia 7 to mango and was very happy to see it having internetsharing. i use the phone with the card of another operator but it worked fine. atleast two times. the third time i used it it took a long time trying to set up the hotspot till i canceld by pressing the back button. since then i get an error message everytime i try to switch it on.
does anyone have an idea what could possibly be the cause of this or even how i can fix it other than resetting the device? also i dont want to so as long as i dont know what caused it. i dont want to lose my stuff just for it breaking down again...
Hi everyone sorry if i should not be posting this here but i am a noob to the site and need to find my way around .
Anyway i have an htc hd7 and i cant start it up . the other day the battery went completely flat as i don't use it to much and when i went to power it up it comes up with the unlocked phone then ask,s for the sim pin which i put in and accepted then i get a screen which is white which say,s try again in 27450 min.s . i can only make emergency calls ( not tried to see if works) . i cannot get into windows at all .use the camera or any other functions.. i have tried to reset the phone and even do tried a hard reset through the bios but seems to have made no difference it still does not work . i did load a couple of apps about two days ago one of the was an anti theft alarm from the windows app store Nothing has ever been side loaded as i don't know how or even if the phone is able to. the phone is counting down min.s but i don't know what will happen at the end of the countdown maybe the phone will work maybe it will blow up . wonder anyone has seen this sort of thing before and any thoughts as to anything i can do other than wait and see what happens Maybe its a virus if so how can i get rid of it .any help or thoughts would be most welcome .
