Hello everyone, please accept my apologies and ignore this if availability alerts are not allowed on the forum, i know these units are hard to get at present though so it may help get one quicker.
I have o2- XDA II i units available SIM FREE for £389 plus £15 insured courier delivery, i only have a few so be quick.
So the transactions are smooth it is better if i put them on ebay and give you the item number then we both have protection from fraud.
All the best......
Richard
Very interesting. Are these besides SIM free also SIM unlocked and would you ship to The Netherlands?
Also, how to get assurance about the fact that your really have the units?
I will photograph a unit with a small item of your choice (within reason !!!) included in the picture to prove I have the units,
I need to know how to unlock them to all networks actually so help here would be appreciated.
ship to netherlands
I would ship to holland provided i was paid in such a way as to have seller protection, also the carriage would be a bit more.
Richard, I will take one if it is unlocked. I will pay you through Pay Pal, an ebay service. I will need it shipped to the US. Perferably FED EX. So if you are interested let me know. PM me on yahoo as mikee4fun or email me at [email protected].
Thanks,
Mike

I don't know how things work in Argentina, but I know here in the states, if you've been with your carrier long enough you can request an unlock code from them at no charge.

^^ Exactly what this guy said. CONTACT EBAY RIGHT AWAY!
CALL THEM ON THE PHONE. Say, "Item not as described". Tell them you want to escalate it to a claim. They will tell you to ship the item back and give them a tracking number, also get delivery confirmation. You will get your money back as soon as eBay gets delivery confirmation from the postal service.
Experience: Returned a touch screen acer laptop with dead zone in the touch screen when it was claimed to be 100% working
AND WHEN YOU GET YOUR MONEY BACK... I have 2 Motorola backflips... I bought one unlocked, used it on T-Mobile for 2 days, and then saw AT&T was offering free backflips with new service. So now I'm on AT&T with a free Backflip, but I do have an unlocked Backflip sitting here as well. I'll sell it to you for $280 + shipping, via eBay. I bought it for $290 about 3 weeks ago. You should also use "Bing Cashback" to get 8% cash back on the "Buy it Now". PM me if you're interested.
The Backflip is the hottest phone ever.. Lol. Good choice.
lol i dont know about the backflip being "the hottest phone ever" but i guess to each their own right
If you bought something on eBay but didn't receive it or you received something that's significantly not as described, PayPal Buyer Protection can help.
PayPal Buyer Protection covers eligible transactions for the full purchase price plus original shipping charges. Some purchases -- like vehicles in the Motors category, capital equipment in the Business & Industrial category, and Real Estate -- aren't eligible for PayPal Buyer Protection.
To qualify for PayPal Buyer Protection:
Use PayPal to buy an eligible item on eBay.
Pay for the item with one payment. Items purchased with multiple payments aren't eligible.
Send your payment by clicking the Pay For It button on the eBay invoice or by clicking the Pay Now button on the eBay item page.
Let the seller know there's a problem with the transaction by opening a dispute in the Resolution Center within 45 days of making your payment. Then, escalate the dispute to a claim within 20 days of the date you opened the dispute.
Keep your PayPal account in good standing.
Find out more about PayPal Buyer Protection in our PayPal User Agreement.
You can report your problem in the PayPal Resolution Center or the eBay Resolution Center. Either way, you’ll receive the same coverage.
To find out how to report a problem on eBay, go to eBay and click "Resolution Center" at the bottom of any page.
The fastest way
I am not going to add anything useful to the conversation. BUT....
While the Paypal dispute resolution center is a great thing. I think the fastest and easiest way to go about this is to get a freaking code. He has the phone there, there's no need to reship wait and buy another and so on. That is if he can get a code... That was the question.
Open a dispute, or spend $2.15, its not that expensive

All you guys fail with your comments
I say he should ask him for the $3 to get a unlock code. He will probably say yes to avoid shipping costs of sending it back and the hassle of dealing with a return.
ebay
Hi,
I bought several times in Ebay from Argentina, I opened a dispute once and got my money back, but maybe, in this case, it's better to just unlock the phone in your hands.
Anyway, I'm willing to buy a phone, mainly for internet and email while traveling in Argentina. I want to buy an AT&T blackberry or similar. I know this unlocked phones do work for sms and calling, but I don't know if they work for Email and Internet or 3G: did you unlock your phone? does it work for Internet and Email?
Thanks

To the T-Mob customers from the US on here, if you filled out the rebate form and mailed it, I have a few questions:
1. Do I need a postage stamp? (I'm sorry if this is the dumbest question you've ever heard, but I've never mailed anything before least of all a rebate form.) Is that a special sort of mail?
2.For the "proof of purchase" part, the T-Mob store that I bought my Sensation from attached an invoice to my already filled out rebate form. Now I asked him clearly if all I had to do was mail the two pages in just as they are, and he said yes. However, I just realized after I left the store that there is a space for "Signature ________" and "Date________" . Do I need to sign and date this ? Or is that not necessary?
Again, I'm really sorry if I'm being extremely dense, I just don't want to mess it up and have to deal with resubmitting.
it needs postage unless it specifically says "Postage Paid For" on it
I got mine thru walmart and didn't have to mail a rebate and only paid $148 as opposed to $250 with a $50 mail in rebate. Anyone thinking about getting a sensation should try it if you want to save some cash.

I wanted to do this, but I am not the primary account holder, just an authorized user. And I wasn't about to drag my dad to wal-mart Sunday morning to get it
I also have a question.
If the IMEI on the Sensation doesn't match the one on the box, which on do I put on the rebate form?
The one on the Sensation that I checked under phone info, or the one on the box sticker?

I bought it at a T Mobile store from sales rep, so it was legit. I didn't buy it off some bum on Craigslist.
I only noticed they were different when I was filling out the rebate form, now I'm wondering what IMEI I should put on there if not both.
Stupid question I know but was the rebate form in the box? If it was I totally missed it.
Same here. I didn't see any form with mine.
Rebate Process Explanation
As a T-Mobile employee let me explain the process clearly.
Your sales associate should have given you 3 sheets of paper upon leaving the store.
(If you DID NOT receive this form please be sure to return to the location where you purchased your device at or make sure it was not a dealer, but a CORE LOCATION)
1. Main Receipt
2. Copy of Receipt
3. Rebate Form
The Copy of receipt and rebate form should be stapled together.
Fill out the information exactly as directed on the form leaving nothing black that has a pink "required" next to it. Failure to do so will render your warranty void and you will not receive your rebate visa card.
The white label from your box must either be peeled (which may tear it) or cut from the box and placed inside the same envelope.
Please make sure the IMEI on your receipt, device and box all match. If not you will not receive your rebate.
You must purchase your own stamp and mail the envelope.
Must be postmarked on or no later than July 31st, 2011.
Rebate is only available to those who purchased the Sensation through a valid and authorized T-Mobile retail store. Refurbished devices purchased as an upgrade DO qualify. Devices purchased at Walmart and any other major supply chain do NOT count.
Offer is not valid for Flex Pay customers.
Please allow up to 8 weeks for us to process the information and or card.
Once sent you can then check your rebate status at WWW.TMOBILEREBATES.COM or call or Rebates dept. at 1-877-311-8853 for any questions or to check your status of rebate.
I hope I was able to help you with your question.
Have a great day.
What if you purchased online through the TMO website?

I put a used GNexus (play store, purchased in the summer) up on Craigslist in the UK listed for £220 and local pick up.
Someone contacted me and offered £270 Paypal for it to be shipped asap (to the UK, I presume, though I'm waiting for the return e-mail). They would pay first and I would ship once I've received payment. This set off an alarm bell for me. They also wanted a Paypal invoice.
But seeing as how I would be paid first, I'm confused at why they would offer this.
Is this some kind of scam where they would claim not having received the item or something, and demanded a refund from Paypal?
I had this with three phones I tried to sell on gumtree.
The scam is they send a fake PayPal confirmation email saying the moneys been sent to yoir account but it hasn't

Thanks. Is there any potential for scammage if I confirm via the Paypal site that the money has been deposited? Meaning can they somehow tell Paypal to revoke the money by, for example, claiming they never received the item or that it was damaged?

Yes it is a scam, one of the most popuar scams. A very popular one at that. Always meet in person, and always in a public place.
