Hi, Is anyone aware of a software that can enable me to dial a number from my desktop, through a pocketpc connected over a USB cradle (and make use of the PC headphone/microphone for conversation).
Thanks,
Prashanth
ms have a free program which give you the screen of the pda connected as a window on the pc
remote something is it's name
you can try search for remote AND pc
it's likely to turn up
Hmmm right. But will the remote control software allow me to use the PC mic/headphones instead of the ones on the PDA?
i am able to use my pc as bluetooth headset - i cant dial number but i can talk through my computers mic and speakers. depending on your pc's bt stack it might not work i guess - i am using widcomm one.
Thankyou banannq and rudegar for your help. The issue was with the BlueSoleil stack. Now with PDA remote control and widcomm stack (laptop) things are working fine.

Does anyone know of a program that will display ur today screen on ur computer...like a virtual dashboard? i broke my screen on my kaiser yesterday and I am waiting on my replacement, but i have some emails that i need to read... anyone know of a program like this?
ActiveSync Remote Display. You sync your phone with the computer, run ActiveSync Remote Display on the computer, and it will display the contents of the screen. It's how a lot of people get screenshots of what is on their phone. Special installation instructions for WM6.

Thanks, but I found a program called MyMobiler .. works really good... and works with Vista
I use MyMobiler also, works good.
works great, especially since you can launch it from the desktop. No need to do anything on the PPC.
Wireless data connection not active...
There is one issue with ActiveSync Remote Display and Mobiler. Because they both use Activesync, once the WM6 device is connected via Activesync, the wireless data capability of the WM6 device stops because the WM6 device begins to use the internet data connection on the PC.
Is there a workaround so that the WM6 keeps it's wireless data connection active when connected back to the PC/laptop and yet still enables me to control the WM6 device using my laptops display/keyboard/mouse?
Ultimately, I would like the WM6 device to run a virtual display program (similar to what Nyditot use to offer) so that I can run at 800x600 and use my laptop to control the WM6 device.
Why would I want to do this? Because I have an fixed $ rate unlimited data plan that is unlimited only if data terminates/initiates from my WM6 device.
Is there any software out there that let one use their bluetooth enabled WM device as a keyboard or mouse to control their PC?
I've got a Home Theater PC that I don't have a keyboard for, and it would be great if I could use my phone's (TyTN) keyboard to type away on the PC.
Or use the touch screen as a touch pad, to control the mouse on the PC.
Does something like this exist?
I use GRemote. Google it.
Sailing clicker is a good one i use it to control my laptop connected to my LCD using my Tytn II. you need to download the additional config file on sailings website. you can use the keyboard to type and the touch screen as a mouse pad. usually reliable and can also use wifi to connect as well as bluetooth
Hello ppl,
First of all please excuse my bad English and sorry if my thread is annoying (since there are many similar threads here), but my case is a bit different.
Before everything let say I have "stock" Leo and PC (without built in bluetooth - it will be external dongle) with Windows Server 2003 (tweaked as workstation).
So, let say I have such case - I am turning on my pc and OS booting stops on login screen, here I want to enter my password not with my pc's keyboard but with my Leo (i.e. my Leo will be wireless keyboard). I have read some threads here and I guess I can do this using wifi connection, Remote Desktop Mobile tool on Leo, and with enabled Remote Desktop on my PC. The most interesting question to me is - can I do this with bluetooth connection?! As I already said bluetooth on my pc will be external (powered by application like BlueSoleil or similar) which means (I guess) that bluetooth connection will not be available when Win booting is paused with login screen (application like BlueSoleil will not be loaded yet). Once I am logged in will be good if I can use my Leo not only as wireless keyboard, but also as mouse, media remote control and so on
I made a lil research and found some remote applications like GRemote but I guess this is also not an option since such applications will not be loaded (before OS booting finalization) too. I have read a lil about Bluetooth PAN, but still not sure that this can be my solution.
I will be so grateful for any info, ideas and help!
Thanks in advance!
So I've installed MirrorGo and Mymobiler, in MirrorGo I can't seem to find out how to configure that keyboard, in mymobiler it won't allow me to set the keys. I've even installed xpadder in windows to convert keyboard keys into gamepad keys, and it works. I can control a game in mymobile using the arrows in my joystick, but that's all I can do.
What I'm basically needing is:
A application that allows me to control my android using my PC's keyboard, gamepad or Joystick, from PC, through USB or Wifi (I prefer Wifi).
It doesn't need to be a mirror application (It is preferred not to be), as mirror apps have a delay.
The thing works like this:
Both android and pc have an app to connect to each other, I'll configure and connect my keyboard or gamepad on my pc to control my phone through USB or Wifi.
I've seen someone saying they had success using mymobiler, but I couldn't achieve the same.
