This issues is just for the last build of Caller ID...the older version is working perfectly for me...but I have forgotten to save the CAB file... (speaking about Magician Caller ID)
Regards,
Primoz
Might not have to do with Caller ID 1.20
I got the older version if you need one. Currently also experience problem with Caller ID at time. Might due to mixture of other stuff. Had uninstalled OmegaOne BatteryPack Pro, and installed O2 Plus instead (as I felt the response on clicking the "Windows" menu bar is getting slower).
caller id build
mine is caller id v1.20 build 17957
whats yours? and where did u downloaded it from? tnx!

I bought it at US$24.00

Smart Filter Icon on the task bar has to be the first one on the left in order to operate. U can do this by deactivate it, then open it again. 100% work
Or try Call SMS Blocker by Crino on this forum, lite version is free and it works!
Noravit,
Thanks for the advice.
Koksie,
I think it (crino's) works only with limitted number of phones.
I need a blocker for a hundred plus phones every weekend and that it needs to be open on over a hundred phone at the same time.

I just upgraded to Ivan v3 WM6 from Jwright 2.02.02
(Radio 1.15)
When receiving incoming calls, it is NOT showing any Caller ID information (name & number).
When the phone rings, a popup opens that shows only "Incoming Call"
AFTER answering the call, I can see the Caller ID info (name & number) on the phone screen.
What could be causing this? How do I fix it so that when the my phone rings, it actually shows the Caller ID info in the popup that opens?
In Jwright and DarkForcer ROM, all was OK...
PS. Voice Comand also don;t announce incoming calls....
PLS HELP, This is very important in my work, and I don't wanna change
ROM again...
No one had this problem? I don't believe it... Is it problem with
that ROM (ivan v3 bug?) or maybe something different?

haha, very funny.
I have the very same problem with Laurentius's ROM... and further trawling through the forum revealed this:

I'll miss the extended functionality of SPB PhoneSuite if it's true... but mebbe SPB folks will put out a new rev soon? Sure hope so.
and one more thing, if indeed this problem is SPB-related:
http://www.spbclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6093&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=30
gonna try this out in a moment.
[EDIT]
true to form, it fixed the issue for me. Ahh, SPB... Exemplary support, that
Yes! Thank you wyrm, very much!
Uninnstaling SPB Phone Suite solved all proboem with
not displaying caller ID!
This is strange... I have been using SPB Phone Suite in
Jwright 2.02.02, and all was OK... Maybe SPB Phone Suite don't like new builds?

anyway, you don't have to uninstall; see the link I attached, it supplies the new beta version of SPB PS that resolves this issue while retaining everything else.
Although, I admit, uninstalling does fix the problem, too

Yeah, I am moving the same way as you, and J's ROM had no quarrel with SPB PS. But, as fallenczar has noted, all new builds suffer from this. Looks like our gurus the devs managed to f*** something up...
Oh well, two steps forward, one step back; still, you end up closer to the ideal, eh?
but it does not solve the voice command not announcing the calls. any ideas ?
Yeah. I miss that function too. you wont need to open ur Jasjar to know Who's calling. I want to download my OS to WM6 2.02.00

its not our rom gurus who have done anything wrong...its m$...all the roms with the problem are running on the latest core (which is used in the released version of wm6)
I have had this problem with my Cingular 8525 from day one.
I don't run the SPB software, just the vanilla shipped stuff.
I would love to see this bug fixed.
Its worse in that I frequently get calls from people calling the previous owner of this number. With the current behavior, I cannot ID them.
Hi guys,
I have just cooked a rom based on a dump of WM6.1 TNT 19199 and found a weird problem.
The phone does not response to any extension number.
For example, my friend's number is 85213800 ext. 122 . When I dialed 85213800 it got through and prompted me to dial an extension number. I input 122 and clearly heard the sound of keypad but the voice on the other end still asked me to dial an extension number. The phone did not response to my further input.
The same problem happened when I called some service centers. It is pretty annoying.
I met this problem before on some of the cumstomized roms but forgot how to solve it. It seemed to be related to some registry settings or in lack of some files.
Anybody has any clue. Many thanks
some touch dialers have that bug, you have to use the most recent package of dialers

I have a HTC 8925 Tilt...I have installed ifonz0.9.9 works fine but I cant get ifonz2 to work. I also have an issue with icontact. When installed it will only show default numbers in my all contacts list, how do I get it to show all contact on phone. I also installed S2U2 and it works great but the when the caller id comes up it shows the same number everytime any ideas. I have also updated to net framework 3.5, and still prorgams dont work...
I can only say
ask in the iphonz thread... the developer can answer you better.
Hi,
I am new on this portal but I read a lot in the last days and was very surprised of the solutions you find and also the apps you made working. Great
I know its not looking very good to ask as newbie for help but I hope you can help me... I am searching for more than a week for a solution and tried even to edit the registry but unfortunately I am not good enough to find the solution
So what do I want do to?
I have a HD2 (branding free) and I want to install Avaya One-X mobile.
Well the installation was succesfull and I also get it running inside my company and also the private modus. But since I have it installed I hear no ringtone. It always plays an "ding" and thats all.
So right now I always have to keep my eyes on my mobile to see if someone calls me or not.
And the second problem is that I also get no caller picture displayed..
But as soon as I deinstall the one-x everything is working (phone rings and caller picture is displayed)????
So you are my last hope to find a solution. Please can you help me?
If you need any further infos please let me know
Thanks
Frank
oh... the one-x mobile software is free for download on the avaya webiste
I can post you the link later (I am not allowed to post it right now...)
i'm getting mad with it...
Now I am a step further.. I now that the software deactivates the onboard call handler. I think it is only a registry setting to reenable it. after done the caller name+picture should be displayed and even the call-slider should be back.
Does someone have an idea where I can find the entry?
well now I know exactly the differents between the registry with one-x installed vs without. But I have no experiences in reading/interpreting my results.
Is a Dword something which can be used as name? or is it only a value?
Does someone has a guide for beginners please?
Did you contact Avaya support for assistance?
I have recently taken over all our telecoms at the office (avaya system)
Saw your post on One-x and been reading a little on it. Where did you get the install files from and did you get it working in the end?
I have a support contact with a company called central so I can contact them for free advice if needed
is this the version you are using?
http://support.avaya.com/css/appman...loads/P0438/5.2.x/C201012083328498084#summary
I'll take a look at what the installer does as I've not heard of it before but it's not letting me register to download it .
yep that's the software I am trying to download
Could not create an account either
I have emailed my support company and they will be sending the software to me on a disc.
thanks for your responses.
I installed the version for pocketpc WM6 (not the UC version) and yes it is working fine
But:
The problem I have is that since I have it installed it
- my mobile does not play a ringtone any more
- "slide to answer" and "show caller name+picture" is away
When I get the disc tomorrow ill post up the results.
This app will be very helpful if i get it working
As for the no ringtone issue I am not sure.
I would attach it... but i have no permissions...
@ fards: there are two versions. one for "Windows mobile 5"and the other one for "Windows mobile pocket pc" (here you can find it for WM6). the first is a UC versions. For this you need an internet connection and a uc-server running in your company. the other one is for normal mobile use. it calls via the phone connection the server and then your call is managed by the server.
support.avaya.com/css/appmanager/public/support/Downloads/P0483/C20090710162819340875658#files
you can find it here for free and you need no login
I do not see the HD2 listed as compatible device.
Did you get it working or still having problems?
How does the Avaya interface on the mobile phone look like?
Is it replacing the WM dialer completly or only while Avaya software is running in the background?
I have just installed it onto my HD2. The install hung at the end for about 20 mins. Reset device and the software has replaced my dialer. Appears to be working but im reading on how to configure the ini file now.
Tested on personal mode and call connected fine.
it replaces the dialer completly...
for the ini file you need the settings of your ACM. here you have to enter different extensions for each function...
you also has to to enter your mobile number in the ACM. Because your are identified via your number.
But can you test if you get a ringtone for incoming calls? thats my problem. I get no
Just to draw a conclusion to this This topic. This solution does not work correctly on HD2. Unless someone has managed to do this and has not shared?
sry... I was offline for a while... Does somesone find the solution?
No i gave up in the end..... bloody crap
