New Hemli_c Rom For Apache...Thx Hemi!!!

This is a new rom which is still in the testing phases but works fantastic as I have been using it for a week. Here is a quote from Hemi_c post over at PPCGeeks.com

I am of Venezuela and have an installed AKu 3,5 in my apache and is compatible with my mobil Serbian operator.

Yes, any Apache rom should work as long as it is not designated as a carrier specific rom. For instance, some of the custom roms have the Sprint ExtRom built in. However, this rom from Helmi should work for all Apaches.

CDMA dial up connection Numbers are same for all operator(as i know)
#777, so i should work
(i am using is rom with China Unicom without no problems,just typed User ID and Password)

I have a sprint ppc-6700 and upgraded my rom to CE and just did a quick test so far so good..
I do have one question.. would it be possible to get a "basic/light" version of the ROM without so many apps installed.
For example without, Adobe reader, voice command, all the ringtones/pictures, SPB, etc...
Please let me know and thank you again for all your hard work

Why?
Just disable the stuff. It is not taking up any of your usable memory. Also, check out some of the custom roms that are available at ppcgeeks.com. They are all based off of Helmi's previous releases of 3.3 and 3.5

try putting it into boot loader mode first then flash the rom to it

how to download this rom
i can not down thru ftp server that i dont have user name and pass

Note that the newest ROM is now R4 and the link on the first page won't work as the files have all been re-arranged. I'm happily using a ROM I created from R3, as the R4 Kitchen seems to have some issues along with it's "creamy goodness".
If you go to the ppcgeeks FTP site and browse to Apache;Latest Kitchen, you'll see the new Kitchen.

ROM is protected just so you don't wipe out all the functionality of a device without due care and attention. It is very dangerous to change ROM files if you don't know what you are doing and act recklessly. Do some studying on the topic of ROM cooking and search for device-specific ROMs and tools. Use the knowledge base and google for these.

fm radio htc touch pro 2

i have a htc touch pro 2 with wm 6.5 which has a fm radio in his rom but somehow this is not working.
i have installed a lot of apps and added a lot of contacts (i can back them up but then i have to change them all by putting there firstname first) and changed some settings etc.
i don't want to do this all over again for a fm radio
so is there any way to delete the fm radio files so i can put the correct ones up??

Question about LG KP500 (Cookie)-flashing to Windows Mobile 6.x

Hello my friends i have a little, hopefully simple question and i dont know how to answer it^^
Why i cant flash the mobile phone LG KP500, called 'Cookie' to Windows Mobile 6.x?
Is there no way to flash a different rom to this device?
i dont know much about the processor architecture of the "Cookie" but in my opinion it's a touchscreen-enabled phone like for excample the Samsung Omnia i900..
might anybody feels able to explain me whats the different between this two devices "Cookie" and for excample the "Omnia" and why it's not able to flash it.

i guess because the roms are device specific. You cant just flash a rom for a diamond on a kaiser either. Maybe with some luck you can flash android in the future when lg throws some android phones on the market.
you should have invested a bit more money and get yourself the ks20 from lg. This has winmo 6.x installed (and wlan and gps)...

You can flash a Windows Mobile device with a Windows Mobile ROM or Android.
You cannot flash a Windows Mobile ROM to just any LG or other phones which run on their own OS. Like iphone OS ROM cannot be flashed to WinMo devices.

Sorry for my late reply mate. Yeah, i mixed it up a bit with * # signs But as far as i saw, u found ur way . Notice that this code is only for internal purposes testing and so on, so consider that u have full acess to ur phone now and u can even hard/soft reset ur device, through the appropriate menu.
Anyway, yeah 10e is the SW version, but still, i think there are another two SW updates available already online, so i sugeest u, to install LG Pc Suite that was included in the box and seach for those and flash ur device accordingly

I am a new man to develop ROM. Now I had been assigned a job to create a Windows Mobile ROM. But I know nothing about it. I have many questions:
1. What work cycle I should follow for this job?
2. I had ever compiled Windows CE 6.0. And I had NK.bin after compilation. Can I use this as a kernel in Windows Mobile?
3. What tools I should use to build ROM?
4. Suppose I had already create a ROM, hwo to depoly it into Mobile Phone?
I hope some expert with experience about this can help me, and told me how to do. Thank you very much!

First, we need to know which device the ROM is for. Each Windows Mobile ROM is device specific.
Then you need to decide which version of WM you want to include.
Also, there are several tools (called "kitchens" for cooking the ROM) available on these forums. OSKitchen and Ervius Visual Kitchen are the two that most people use.
And you need to have some kind of understanding of the ROM structure of a Windows Mobile ROM and which files are responsible for which part of the OS.

I had downloaded these two applications. Now I can use erviusKitchen to dump a ROM downloaded from HTC offical web-site. But I don't know how to change the DEVICE, Language and so on. All those are read only.

[Q] Acer e100 ROM

Hi!
Im not sure if this is the right way or the right forum to do it but here it goes.
I've been using xda forum to get application for my smartphone and its great. But theres one thing that im rly rly confused. I's like to upgrade the ROM of my phone but from the threads ive read i havent still got it how to do it or where to download those ROMs.
I have an Acer e100 and when it starts it says Acer_E100_2.003.005_PT, this must be some ROM/OS version. And when i go to windows system -> about it says its windows mobile 6.5 Professional (build 21857.5.0.66).
I've some threads with newer builds. But wich is the right one for this mobile? Can i use any? I've notices that most used build is 23518 but it exists the 28014. Does this have anything to do windows mobile version as well?

E100 / E101 Official ROM 2.004.04 EN
I have official ROM OS_Acer_2.004.04.EN.IN_WM65_A downloaded from Acer site and tested on my E100 device.
The EUU.msi installer doesn't recognize my device but you can flash the device with flash.bin located on the sd card and extracted from EUU installation folder.
