I have a strange issue with a PDA2K and the Microsoft Messaging app (Inbox). I also had the issue on an MDA III a few months ago. Basically, Inbox locks up, often when trying to exit it, but sometimes just doing some things (like assigning signatures to email accounts). Also, if I don't turn off the Messaging Today item, I can get lockups on the Today page. If I avoid Messaging, everything is OK.
I've done searches here, clubimate, PPCW.net and general Google. I have found nothing useful. I can't believe only I have this problem. I have tried a fairly clean PocketPC too, avoiding apps that could conceivably cause a problem.
Any ideas?
Hi everyone
i am using an XDA2 that has been upgraded to WM2003SE. However, the programs seem to clash. Especially SPB Pocket Plus and intellipad. Anyone has a solution to this? Upgrading to Pocket Plus 2.5 didn't help a bit.
thanks.
Thats unusual. Ive been running wm03se for 2 weeks now w/ PocketPlus 2.0 and Intellipad v.1 build 17286 and they all run harmoniously. They even co-exist w/ Darek's nifty today plugin. What ROM version are you using?
My ROM version are the same as yours
everytime i select intelipad when replying text msgs, it goes to the default Block recognizer.
Also, my msgs are auto erased everytime i switched from "Deleted Items" to "Inbox" and I can't view any msgs in "Deleted Items", "Sent Items" and "Drafts"
any one can enlighten me?
FYI only, not sure you guys encounter this problem.
Using WM2003SE, loaded SPB Pocket Plus.
Everytime, when i send an SMS, the other party will receive 2 same message from me.
To test out, i unistall it, and the other party on receive 1 message from me.
from that day onwards, i never use SPB anymore.
i suspected is the SPB Pocket Plus issue, cause before i upgraded to WM2003SE, i am using my default O2 ROM, and it also has the duplicate SMS issue.
That why, i upgraded to WM2003SE, but still did not solve my problem.
I dont think is Telco problem, cause my colleague dont have such problem with normal phone.

You need to exclude the tmail.exe on close feature, this will fix the issue.
pardon me, where and how to fix it.
tap and hold the right upper part/ options/ close button/ feature options/ exceptions/ add/ browse/ windows/ select tmail.exe
This will fix the problem
thanks for the info
Nice one, but still that does not fix the original problem mentioned on the top of this thread...
Pocket Plus and Intellipad (Phonepad) incompatibility...
I would say that it's a resource conflict of some kind, because they sometimes can work together but sometimes they simply won't cooperate....
Or is it something similar than with the SMS thing? Perhaps Pocket Plus is shutting down the Intellipad resouces and thus causing this problem?
Is there a way to exclude Intellipad from Pocket Plus?
Just an idea....
Best regards,
Rayan
i've been using wmse together with spb pocket plus on my mini for about 2 weeks now and I haven't encountered those problems..

It appears that Microsoft Voice Command 1.5 is the one causing problems with Intellipad (Phonepad).
I have almost a week since I disabled VC and I have not had any problems with Intellipad ever since.
If I'm on the road and need Voice Command I just press the hardware button assigned to VC and after a few seconds it's loaded back and ready to rumble.

I'm having conflicts with spb pocket plus and wm2003 se. My XDA 2 locks up quite often when I use the two together. As soon as I unload spb pocket plus things clear up so clearly there is an issue there.
Hi,
Have searched the forums but no-one seems to have the particular issue I have got!!
After installing Avantgo on my M5000, syncing works ok. However if I go into the tools/options in activesync (This would normally bring up a list of enabled items to sync like calender, contacts etc) - it causes activesync to crash i.e hang and even if I disconnect my device activesync still hangs, resulting in a reboot of my PC.
Has anyone else had anything similar - or advise on what I should try? I have reinstalled Avantgo a few times but the same happens.
Thanks
Matt
When I connect my Uni to pc and activesync opens up, it only syncs favourites now. It used to do contacts, calendar, etc, but all of a sudden it doesn't work. I tried going through the help files and everything it suggests but just cant make it work.
Has anyone experienced this before and know how to fix it?
Appreciate any help. Cheers.
Hello everybody!
Hope someone can help me, as this is a troublesome issue:
First of all, I'm on a Touch Pro with a Stock WWE ROM. The one that was provided with the phone.
Since yesterday, and without any apparent cause (haven't installed/changed a thing), the Pocket Outlook refuses to open my email messages.
I get the email in the inbox, but when trying to load a message, it just flashes the taskbar, changing the 'X' closing button to 'ok', marks the message as read, but doesn't load it.
The weird thing is it does open the SMS messages. I'm guessing that works because of the threaded view being enabled, so the viewer program is different.
I've tried to erase the account (GMail) and recreate it, didn't help at all.
Any ideas?
Can I reinstall the Outlook in any way without Hard-resetting the device?
Thanks a lot!
wow sounds pretty similar to my problem (except i couldn't open sms's either).
I found my problem to be my memory card....maybe try removing ur memory card(if you have one installed) and resetting the phone, then try to access your outlook messages.....worked for me anyway....hope it helps
