thank for helping One s exists:good:

As usual i can not connect to my Wifi network at home. It tries to connect over and over again but does not succeed. Unofficial CM11 hboot2.16 works fine (since a few weeks). So, i replaced boot.img and everything inside /etc/firmware (including subdirectories) from cm-11-20140831-UNOFFICIAL-ville.zip, reflashed and Wifi connects now. I had to replace both, kernel and firmware otherwise Wifi would not turn on.

Reflash it again and try to connect to another wifi network, sometimes this is router related

For me everything is working great. I like the new lockscreen style, but I'd there any option to change the color of the down half?

Somebody in the nexus 5 forums had lots of different lockscreen colours, they worked on the m7 but to make them work on this, they need to be resized

Beside support for h.boot 2.15, are there any changes in v.2? The changelog says NO, that's correct? And not to forget: as I couldn't know, there would come 2.15 support, you gave me with your rom at last a reason, to switch to 2.16 h.boot again. Couldn't find any issues so far with the exception of a missing boot animation. A bit irritating on first boot, as a black boot screen could have been a bad sign as well. Battery life seems to be good, even if it's to early, to say to much about this. Again: a good job and a nice rom!

I'm on 2.15 and it don't boot on my device. Had a black screen, saw here that there is no bootanimation, but after 10 mins no welcome screen. Rebooted, tried again, not booting. Reflashed, still nothing. @derkleinebroicher how long did it took untill device boots?

In each case not 10 minutes. I would say, it boots a bit faster than other roms because of the missing boot animation.

S-off. Usually using candy cat on 2.15 and viper on 2.16, had no issues with them. It has passed more than 20 min, still no boot although phone is responsing on charger plugin or holding power button. I don't have a PC in vicinity, so i can't try to flash just kernel.

Beginning with nightly 20140501, several HTC devices are being transitioned to a new fstab layout. This will not affect your data. Everything working now including camera!.
Not sure if this is significant but heres what I did
1. in recovery wipe everything.
2. in bootloader flash cwm
3. in cwm flashed rom.
4. back in bootloader flash twrp
5 back in twrp flash this gapps http://d-h.st/EIM
6. reboot
Rom seems fine to me now so thanks a million for this!!. im off to see how xposed works with it
EDIT: After about an hour of use it all seems good to me. wifi/mobile data both working. Camera fully working. all gapps working. No reboots so far either
only problem I have is no sound when playing music and the volume slider is laggy as hell when using volume rocker.
EDIT: Yep only sound I get is from the volume rocker and thats a rare beep, no ringtones, nothing

Nope, no sound..
Audio doesn't work..
Flashed it also, first with latest bubba but I got some reboots so I've flashed it second time without it. No reboots since then. Now, what I've found (most annoying "bugs" for me):
1. There are certain sound issues. In-call sound is clear and loud, there's nothing wrong here :good: BUT...there are no other sounds that plays: notifications, ringtones, screen tap, lockscreen, volume adjust sound, dialer touch tones and so on. There are times when they work but mostly there's no sound or a cracking (like static) short sound. The good thing is that you can call and be called (presuming you set also vibration to know when phone rings)
2. There's no option to set the "menu" key. The default is the "recent apps" and I could not find a way to bind menu to it. There's no "3 dot" setting also...so you cannot access most of the applications menu
3. There is some display delay, especially when in-call (screen goes blank at ear but it has a very, barely visible, screen when taking it far from your face). This is not always, bringing phone near face or away from it several times will eventually bring you a full lit screen. The delay it's happening also on lockscreen sometimes

It is the latest bubba from the thread, the one from 10th of Nov. That's the one I've used also and it worked. Just that I got some reboots (due to pocket detection probably as it is stated in the thread) so I reverted to CM kernel included in the ROM

MUST READ
The reason I write "#NOT Tested" when I add a new release:
I don't personally flash it and check if it works. It is obviously better to do that so I'm sure it works and no one will get a boot loop or something which sometimes does cause a problem, it would be much better if someone could test it but upload time would be delay a lot because it's almost impossible to do it straight away after I build it.

You mean it reboots for you when using gps? I just tried maps, looks all right for me but I'm on ART in case you're on Dalvik, don't know will it make any difference though

Try your build, accomplish your goal.
How do you assess the energy consumption?

Are you sure? I thought they are only for hboot 2.15, at least when I tried to install them earlier this year I couldn't even flash them

I've flashed them using cwm 6.0.4.4 on the latest 2.16 build in the other thread (1/13).
Not sure why but I flashed this rom twice, once over an earlier build and once with a full wipe, and each time the rom boots up and everything seems to work but when I reboot, it gets stuck on the boot animation

GAPPS are not hboot dependant, only ROM is. If you couldn't flash them it was for some other reason
#Added 01/26, you can find it in the link under 'dowanloads'. Don't know is it successful build because went outside when building and when came back my battery is dead so I haven't flashed it yet.

No one wrote anything about that even though I think people downloaded it (strange) but I'm using it myself, no problem for me at least. It's pure CM11 just compatible with hboot 2.16.

Sorry I can't tell you as I am using the stock one, but bubba should work fine. I'm installing this as well, takes long to boot and optimize apps though.
Everything seems to be working very well.
I'll use it a couple of day to see if I'm not a Sense addict.

What's the camera quality like in this? The normal camera I find to be pretty useless compared to the sense camera.

CyanogenMod camera always lacked features but quality is not bad, don't know about filming though. But in recent changelogs I've seen they have been working on improving in this area.

@cikoleko I noticed from your screenshots that you are running radio 1.35. Out of curiosity...how's that going for you? Would you recommend it fot CM12 or it's too early to tell?

How? I have at first flash three mount errors (failed to mount) in /dev/block/platforms/msm_sdcc. 1/by-name/userdata at /data: Device or resource busy.
Second flash two, than one and than none.... wierd. Booting now. Will see.
MD5 checked and ok.

My apologies, I was wrong. CameraZoom, for some reason, shows a random picture (as if you took it) when you open the app. I asked my roommate to try the camera app and thought that was the picture she took lol.
Works for me . h-boot 2.16 , bugs : camera , battery saver
It's alive!!!
Will test it futher. Gapps i used r gapps-lp-20141109-signed.zip, not PA.
WiFi ok, data ok (H+).

Are you having any luck with the camera? CameraZoom has some weird glitch where it thinks I took a picture, and other camera apps just crash.

Haven't get to camera. Tried to get root access, but i can't. Flashed latest supersu, got icon in app drawer but if i tap it, nothing happens. I will now flash titanium backup and setup Gacc so that i can test camera. Try Cyanogen camera.
edit:
My mistake for root, flashed wrong version; 1.94 instead of 2.23 beta.
So only camera is not working? And is it developer preview or "normal" ROM?

This ROM is based on the latest source code by google so it's not developer preview. I can't say it's daily driver because of camera not working but except that there's no any major issues with it, only it lacks a lot of features that CM11 has.

Just when I was getting bored
EDIT: Flashed it, looks nice. The extra settings are centralized nicely in the Dirty Tweaks and are quite a few. Not so many or fancy as in Cyanide but they should satisfy everyone.
The dialer was changed a little, the "network event notification" has been taken out but it is enabled by default and works as a toast. This implementation sucks I mean it was better before when you could see the "waiting" message right near "dialing". The toast "call wait" shows just on top of the hangup button and it's both ugly and less functional
Ambient Display option is not in settings anywhere (at least I couldn't find it) but it can be activated by placing the Ambient Display tile in QS. Long pressing it will go to settings page for it
It has Theme Engine but some parts of the interface are not themed (like the second reboot menu). Unfortunately they don't have RRO/Layers
The boot animation is not scaled down for our screen resolution but that's not a big issue.
Overall looks like a ROM good to try, anyone needing "fresh air" might wanna try it
Does this ROM use CM hardware repo?
Thanks Rapier. i was curious and compiled it. It will be compiled on weekly basis. No need to update it more often.

Sorry for double post, but i can't attach screenshot in post above.
Can't install rom, it just get stucked on screen attached. Tried several downloads, nothing. I did clean install.
Update: i can flash it if i do a dirty flash over UB ROM, and it boots. But it's very likely that I'll wake up Balrog within, sooner or later.

yup strange. But I managed to flash it clean after i have shorten filename. Than i restored UB, flashed with original name, and got stucked. So, I guess it's long filename issue. Now, cat is playing with unicorns

Here it is just be sure you're on 2.8.6.0. And you should reload theme in order to have the new one selected
After almost ten hours of playing and using this rom, IMHO, it's worth as a daily driver. This is if you can live without button remapping. I can't. Maybe they are there, like ambient display, but i couldn't find it.
Missing reboot to recovery option, from power menu, is neatly implemented in quick tile. By pressing reboot it changes to recovery (and reverse) and by long press it reboots to selected option.
Themes work with no issue, I tried Dazz and DarkMios. Also, hipnotising lollipop unicorn is easily changed to different boot animation, in my case heartbeat line.
Didn't have any reboots, tried latest Mrak kernel after a few hours, also stable and fluid. For the first time incall quality was good without flashing volume fix. Didn't experienced any lags. I used latest aroma gapps. Battery life is, if i can take this test as a valid sample, quite good. Used HERE maps as navigation, listened to FM radio, made several longer calls, instagram, tweetcast, tapatalk... at the end of the day i had enough juice to make nand of DU and restore UB rom
To summarise, yes, this is, IMHO, another very good rom for our "indestructible mini morris".
