Recovery (HBOOT 2.15):
Beginning with nightly 20140501, several HTC devices are being transitioned to a new fstab layout. This will not affect your data. This change requires kernel support in recovery for CyanogenMod packages to install. Your current recovery is almost guaranteed to not support this change, yet... welcome to bleeding edge!

Everything working now including camera!.
Not sure if this is significant but heres what I did
1. in recovery wipe everything.
2. in bootloader flash cwm
3. in cwm flashed rom.
4. back in bootloader flash twrp
5 back in twrp flash this gapps http://d-h.st/EIM
6. reboot
Rom seems fine to me now so thanks a million for this!!. im off to see how xposed works with it
EDIT: After about an hour of use it all seems good to me. wifi/mobile data both working. Camera fully working. all gapps working. No reboots so far either
only problem I have is no sound when playing music and the volume slider is laggy as hell when using volume rocker.
EDIT: Yep only sound I get is from the volume rocker and thats a rare beep, no ringtones, nothing
Could you add a list of bugs in your post so we can see how it goes

Nope, no sound..
Audio doesn't work..
Flashed it also, first with latest bubba but I got some reboots so I've flashed it second time without it. No reboots since then. Now, what I've found (most annoying "bugs" for me):
1. There are certain sound issues. In-call sound is clear and loud, there's nothing wrong here :good: BUT...there are no other sounds that plays: notifications, ringtones, screen tap, lockscreen, volume adjust sound, dialer touch tones and so on. There are times when they work but mostly there's no sound or a cracking (like static) short sound. The good thing is that you can call and be called (presuming you set also vibration to know when phone rings)
2. There's no option to set the "menu" key. The default is the "recent apps" and I could not find a way to bind menu to it. There's no "3 dot" setting also...so you cannot access most of the applications menu
3. There is some display delay, especially when in-call (screen goes blank at ear but it has a very, barely visible, screen when taking it far from your face). This is not always, bringing phone near face or away from it several times will eventually bring you a full lit screen. The delay it's happening also on lockscreen sometimes

It is the latest bubba from the thread, the one from 10th of Nov. That's the one I've used also and it worked. Just that I got some reboots (due to pocket detection probably as it is stated in the thread) so I reverted to CM kernel included in the ROM

What is CyanogenMod:
CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

You forgot to include "Phone calls/Network" in the working features. That's a main point. If it's there, then only people will think on flashing it.

Ummm....I have a question. After this ROM is finally ready for daily use...I mean I know this is going to take time, but will the Galaxy R then appear on the official CM site as a supported device?

Don't flash it on XWLA4! When I did, I had to face force close problems and no auto synchronization. Also I couldn't sign into my google account.
So then I flashed ZSLE6 first and then flashed this ROM. Then everything worked perfectly [Those which should work].

@vikram
Kindly include the step to take a backup of the previous firmware as a step before all the others.
In case of boot loop they can restore their previous firmware from the backup created. I've just added this in the FAQ's.
Correct me if I'm wrong ?
EDIT:
- A few FAQ's have been added here & more are gonna be added soon, will try to keep on updating them through all the upgrades CM ROM receives but kindly do not have a discussion on this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1773917
- If you want me to add some new Q & A then post it in that thread, I'll add it asap.

Maybe you can try wipe data / factory reset again in recovery.
It once happened to me on the Blade while flashing CM7 when wipe data again did the trick.

Can someone at least confirm if I am using the right zip file? I even verified md5sum and my zip is 100% correct.
I reverted back to stock everything works fine. Then I tried again with CWM 4.0.0.2 and still no incoming calls.
Someone please help me. Am I doing something wrong or am I the only unlucky one?

That's what we at TFQ do I'm excited about tweaked more than anything i love ur work bro
only issues for me were not being able to mount and not being able to get into storage to see available space in settings. just gives message android.process.media has stopped and then settings has stopped. other than that the rom is great! very smooth and looks awesome!
oh and under performance the processor voltage just shows error getting values when tapped on. this is everything i've noticed so far..only been on rom for about five minutes.
Thanks for all the hard work!

I've also noticed that in the notification power widget, the LED flashlight option is grayed out and can't be activated.
Another thing. I can't get the search bar to bring up Google Now. Not sure if this is a ROM issue or an app issue, but worth bringing up.
Also, again, this may not be ROM related, but none of my music players are detecting mp3s on my external SD card. I've tried PowerAmp, Apollo, and the stock, but none are working.

It should be the same problem of the storage in the settings it's not mounting so the mp3 isn't being read.
Could be. Although I also noticed that the sdcard does get mounted in root explorer. But that seems to be the only place its accessible.

I've had this issue on Dr4stic's CM10 and Paranoid Android JB. It's a phone issue working with JB ROMs from what I can tell. Haven't ran ICS on this yet so I can't confirm it on any other devices.

[UPDATED]Just flashed the ROM. So far so good!!! Everything is smooth, and I'm about to do some tests.
Tried Update Me (says V2.9.0 is out) won't download. Has no random reboots so far! super smooth with no lag whatsoever! For some reason Play Store says Netflix, Nova Launcher, and YouTube aren't compatible with my device, so I downloaded them off the internet. They work flawlessly, if not better than any ROM I've tried before. If Update Me would start working this ROM will be one of the best for this phone. Great job man! If there's anything else you'd like tested I'll be happy do so. Lightning Kernel perhaps?

For some reason Play Store says Netflix, Nova Launcher, and YouTube aren't compatible with my device, so I downloaded them off the internet. They work flawlessly, if not better than any ROM I've tried before. If Update Me would start working this ROM will be one of the best for this phone. Great job man! If there's anything else you'd like tested I'll be happy do so. Lightning Kernel perhaps?

Odd. I haven't had the ad card issues on any other ROM (none of the cm9 or cm10 builds or paranoid android). I'm back to cm10 at least until the connect to PC issue is fixed.
Also, I tried lightning kernel a little. Had it running about 6 hours with no issues before I flashed cm10 again.

That's strange.. CM10 only picks up my music when I put it on internal, and same goes for Slim Bean. I'm currently back to CM10 until a fix comes out for downloading apps from the market. All mainstream apps (Netflix, YouTube, Facebook, Maps, etc.) come up as "Your device isn't compatible with this version." :/ maybe I need to update the ROM, but I found no way of doing so. I would just backup my current apps, but I'm running out of memory because they backup to internal -.-

I've noticed that SlimRoms.net doesn't have our device down as supported. I believe this is why Update me isn't functioning. It may be picking up an update to another device (since this is still Build 1) and I'm still only able to download most apps off of the internet. Lightning Zap kernel is amazing with this ROM if anyone is interested
I'll post screenshots below of the errors/issues.

Well for one this rom is still an unofficial build so its not going to be supported on the site yet..

Yep it's unofficial and I'm working on fixing that market issue as well for next update

Welcome to the unofficial CyanogenMod 10.1 nightlies
The releases will co-inside and the build start time is at 03:01 UTC every night and should be uploaded soon after. If at anytime the builds are not there, then there was a problem building the ROM, and we will have a look at it ASAP.
CyanogenMod 10.2 builds are available here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=47732474. The buildbot resources are beeing used for other projects and/or CM10.2 builds

These builds are compiled from the latest CyanogenMod repos and device repos on device, kernel and vendor files.
Furthermore these builds are multiDPI, i.e. you can run the rom at any dpi between 160 and 240 while maintaining hi-res assets.
Initial install
Make sure you are updated to stock LG ICS update (v20d) prior flashing the first time.
And remember to wipe data/cache
(These steps need only to be done once. Later updates can be just flashed over an existing installation without the need of a wipe)
And as always: I take no responsibility whatsoever for raging, screaming, crying, frustration, failing, confusion, etc.
You need to have a custom recovery installed in order to flash these builds;
e.g. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1859662

Tip: If you want to have your density settings persist over updates and don't want to edit build.prop with every update, use local.prop.
create a file named local.prop in your /data root (i.e. /data/local.prop) with the following contents (overrides ro.sf.lcd_density in build.prop):
Code:
qemu.sf.lcd_density=160

same as cm10?
Maybe it's just me, but somehow I'm missing the performance menu.
Additionly, the phone doesn't boot into recovery anymore. The circle revolves endless in the 'Restart Phone' screen.
But the good news is, that the echoing I suffered in CM 10 is almost gone or just minimal, so that's not annoying anymore.

Hi Milaq,
Thanks for your great job :good:
Please continue to your developing for LG PRADA 3.0 P940
My first ROM is 2.3.7 V10D and after that upgraded to V20D but now using V20G (VDI/VODAFONE(ITALY))
Can I Install 10.1 on my device?
Android version: 4.0.4
Baseband version: v20g-eur-xxx-aug-8-2012+0
Kernel version: 3.0.21
Build number: IMM76D
Hi milaq,
There are some errors that you need to fix.
1.) Mounting USB on Mass Storage is not working
su
setprop persist.sys.usb.config mass_storage
but then when connected to a computer, turning on USB Storage doesn't work?
2.) I have a third party screenshot app called Screenshot UX, I tried capturing my notification drawer but it appears he captured the PRADA logo at boot? and everything I captured also appears the PRADA Logo.
3.) Status bar error? The upper left toggle to your Quick settings panel is missing, remove the AM/PM on clock and it turns OK.
excellent work.
but
1- I miss the black and white theme. do you have any apk or zip of the original prada theme and widgets ?
2- My touch sensitivity decreased.
3- My Antutu points decreased from 7866 (stock rom) to 7666
Thanks for the great work.
here are the few things I noticed and wish to be added:
- Seems that my phone is warms up or is warmer than using the CM10.0
- No option to save the Camera captures directly to SD card

hi milaq,
seems mass storage can not work(both in recovery & system), and there's a bug related to signal :
when i turn off flight mode, the singnal is zero, it seems that the phone can not re-search the singnal when return from flight mode, i need to restart the phone manually.
thanks!
Again may I add glitches and errors that I've encountered so far.
1st and 2nd Screenshot
Some video glitch perhaps or is it just my device?
3rd and 4th Screenshot
Tried clearing cache but still resets to 12KB? CM10 and CM9 zero out's cache.

Just wanted to chime in with a couple things... I finally got around to trying out slimkat 4.4 beta 2.4 (latest) and ran into a couple issues.
I flashed the rom and latest beta 2.x gapps but upon first boot the phone was roaming and stuck at the activation screen. I got around that by wiping and flashing the rom again without gapps and manually changed the data mode from NV to RUIM/SIM. Can you make it default to this since it's what USCC uses? It would allow us to flash gapps at the same time as the rom.
Anyways, that's kind of moot because Now it seems to be stuck in a boot loop. It'll fully boot and about a minute later it will reboot itself. I suppose I'll try to flash the rom one more time, but looks like I'm headed back to 4.3.1.
---------- Post added at 03:20 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:47 PM ----------
Yep.... same result after a clean flash. After the first manual reboot it just bootloops about 15 seconds after the launcher shows up.
Roaming issue is fixed for next weekly. For reboot that's odd what recovery are you using. I've been running as well as others without issue. I also take it you did a clean install formatting system manually?

Using the latest CWM recovery (6.0.4.5)... and yeah, clean install, wiped data, cache, dalvik, formatted system.
Does TWRP play happy with kitkat yet? I switched a while back because I heard it had issues.
No errors on the flash though... and it restored my 4.3.1 backup correctly *shrug*

Pretty sure the only thing I did was unlock dev settings...and maybe turn on root. Can't remember. I did a manual reboot just for the heck of it and that's when the reboots started. The initial bootup after flash seemed fine until I did the manual reboot. Maybe I could try flashing a custom kernel?

I just updated the latest build 4.1 and noticed the new recent app animation where it shows all your recent apps on the right hand of the screen instead of taking up the whole screen like it does in stock Android. My question is how can I revert back to stock recent app animation?
Thanks guys

I just lost root, as well. I've never lost root before. I've been running my own self-compiled version of this for months, and I just flashed the stable release from work to check it out, and bam.... root = gone. I'm about to try and fix it now.

I see movement of the icons to the left of data still when there's a change from 3G to H. Not a big deal just something I noticed.
@Rapier for blocking the notifications, you could still get to it via the app info screen as before in kk it's just not as smooth and seamless as long press and tapping the bell. Also tapping the info to the right of the bell will give you the option to block notifications of the app. Wasn't sure if you noticed this.
Does anyone know where to find the multi user/guest functions? I'm either totally missing it or they're left out currently for some reason?
Otherwise smooth as can be and good enough for my daily driver habits! Especially now that we have camera! I am truly surprised by how quickly we have LP not already! I totally expected to be waiting a month or so lol
Also, huge thanks to @mmarkvoort for getting us to lollipop already!

Nope, it's not the same, maybe you haven't noticed the difference...it is subtle but exists. The "i" or info page for an app allows complete hiding of all the notifications for that app. From the bell you can selectively choose which specific notifications should be hidden. For ex, the android system is only one app so from info page you could completely disable notifications for it but I don't want to disable all of them but only some. IME switch, USB debugging, USB connection are for ex all different notifications of the same android system app. If you want to disable only IME you can do it only by that bell that disable only that particular notification not all notifications of android system as it would be the case via the info page.
So having that bell not working limit the posibility to selectively disable notifications for the same ap. Via info page you can either have all notifications disabled or none. You cannot disable only some of them.
This is a new thing in Lollipop compared to KK.
Right now it is not a big deal since in the last LS build you can disable IME from language&keyboard page and you can hide USB debugging notification from dev options...but those were not present before and anyway it is a new feature that should work to benefit from all changes brough by Lollipop

OK, no problem. However, what's the difference between CM12 and LS?

I am talking about Liquidsmooth 23 Nov build. So, check out the OP.
and I have a doubt, Did One S had official LS support? Or is it going to be?

Ahhh, that's awesome! I didn't know it got that specific. I need to do my homework!
*edit* I noticed text in some app menus (Tapatalk is one I noticed and remember off hand) is white on white. Not sure if that's LS or the apps themselves. I don't remember seeing it on CM12.

I think it had way back on 2.31. Not on KitKat.
And now there's no official developer for ville i think.

I didn't know either at the beginning but I've seen that on CM12. Long press on IME switch, USB debugging or USB connection notifications ALL shows that are part of Android System. Tapping on the bell for one of them tho, was hiding only that particular notification not all notifications of Android System. So that's how I learned it I usually hide IME and USB debugging and since there wasn't an option to hide them elsewhere I've tried like this...and worked. On LS when I've tried the same thing, it gave me systemUI FC so that how I've noticed. Now it's ok since I can disable those 2 notifications from other places but this won't hold for all apps. More than that, this is linked I think to the new priority notification system and it could be that won't work as well till this is fixed
Regarding an official LS support for Ville...there is an official maintainer registered on LS team (phoenixita I think) but he has no Ville anymore and he is not building also. Theoretically we are officially supported (you could check on the G+ page or in the official download site that is a Ville folder)...but it's not updated for a very long time. If no one will step in and request the maintainer status from LS team I guess we'll never get official builds

LS is based on CM12 so they share a lot of things. Now Lollipop is quit new the differences are small. Both teams will build in their own set of features. I haven't tried CM12 myself so i can't tell you what the differences are at the moment.

There are some, I'll try to list them but I've not tried latest CM12 build since it is not yet available (I mean the one that has camera fixed)
CM12 has profiles...but not working yet. The menu entry exists in settings but it says it should be activated first (which you can't since there's no activation switch)
LS has several other things added on top of CM12:
- vol rocker wake
- wake up on charge
- LiquidSmooth menu entry in setting with the following options: Viper4Android, network speeds in statusbar, AD blocker
- Privacy guard
- toast animations
- increasing ring volume
- pulse notification light
- advanced reboot (power) menu
- advanced keyboard settings: hide IME selector notification, disable full screen keyboard, auto keyboard rotation, show enter key and vol key cursor control
- superuser setting menu entry (not working yet)
- torch added to qs
- selective notification disable for apps (the "bell" icon shown when long press a notification) makes systemui FC (this is working in CM12)
It might be other differencies but this is what I've noticed
@Rapier
