MUST READ
The reason I write "#NOT Tested" when I add a new release:
I don't personally flash it and check if it works. It is obviously better to do that so I'm sure it works and no one will get a boot loop or something which sometimes does cause a problem, it would be much better if someone could test it but upload time would be delay a lot because it's almost impossible to do it straight away after I build it.
Known Issues:
Tell us if you find any

You mean it reboots for you when using gps? I just tried maps, looks all right for me but I'm on ART in case you're on Dalvik, don't know will it make any difference though

Try your build, accomplish your goal.
How do you assess the energy consumption?

I've flashed them using cwm 6.0.4.4 on the latest 2.16 build in the other thread (1/13).

Not sure why but I flashed this rom twice, once over an earlier build and once with a full wipe, and each time the rom boots up and everything seems to work but when I reboot, it gets stuck on the boot animation

GAPPS are not hboot dependant, only ROM is. If you couldn't flash them it was for some other reason

#Added 01/26, you can find it in the link under 'dowanloads'. Don't know is it successful build because went outside when building and when came back my battery is dead so I haven't flashed it yet.

No one wrote anything about that even though I think people downloaded it (strange) but I'm using it myself, no problem for me at least. It's pure CM11 just compatible with hboot 2.16.

What kernel can we flash to have S2w and DT2W ?
BTW, thanks for your time and work.

Sorry I can't tell you as I am using the stock one, but bubba should work fine. I'm installing this as well, takes long to boot and optimize apps though.

Everything seems to be working very well.
I'll use it a couple of day to see if I'm not a Sense addict.

What's the camera quality like in this? The normal camera I find to be pretty useless compared to the sense camera.

CyanogenMod camera always lacked features but quality is not bad, don't know about filming though. But in recent changelogs I've seen they have been working on improving in this area.

Installation instructions:
-Download the ROM, oppo.recovery and oppo.boot images
-Unlock your device using HTCdev unlock
-Wipe Data and Cache partitions
-Push the rom using adb (adb push Rom.zip /sdcard/)
-Flash the ROM and reboot when promted
-Be happy!
Optionals:
-Flash Gapps (Use the latest jb 4.2.2 version) - http://goo.im/gapps
Notes:
-The ROM is based on a 4.2.2 Sense ROM, including the Sense frameworks, so technically you can push Sense apps to it and they will work.

Do you have to use wipe data+cache in oppo? This will wipe sd card, is it necessary? Could you wipe data+cache+system in twrp before flashing recovery.
Recovery Question
Can we keep the Oppo recovery when/if we decide to switch ROMs? Or are other ROMs incompatible with the boot.img and the recovery?

oppo recovery uses its own install script so in future ill rewrite it to support twrp.

on download page, got them up now
got a quick question for ya...
I've run 2 or 3 different ROMS on this phone already (BoostMobile version).
they've all installed correctly & worked as described in their respective threads.
the only mod I couldn't get to work on stock was the Faux kernel
(although it did work on the other ROMs).
what are the differences in ROMs (other than GSM vs. CDMA)
ie.: 1031-1034 ?
Thanks
I actually activated this w/ RingPlus as a spare phone, been working great.
Not much besides connection gsm/CDMA most or all of hardware is same.

Seems to run smooth, just installed and am currently testing on a Boost Mobile Moto G. I will report back with any issues. Thank you!
EDIT: DSP Manager crashing while using Google Music. I had this issue on the Paranoid Android rom as well.

Hmm, anyone have any idea how to solve this problem?
First of all I started with stock rooted 4.4.
I booted to recovery (CWM) and factory reset, wiped cache, formatted system, data and cache and wiped Dalvik. Installed CM11, installed GAPPS and rebooted. Did this a couple times and I keep getting stuck on the cyanogenmod boot logo. Any ideas?

First boot can take a while, just give it some time it should boot up once it gets done creating the dalvik-cache for apps in the system...
I let it sit for at least a half hour and it was still stuck on the boot logo.

Sorry to see you leaving but I'm glad for you cause of the OnePlus One...I would buy one but unfortunately had no invites for it. Maybe I'll find a 64GB for sale at some point. Thanks for all your work here and especially for pushing that damn BT patch to CM...now any CM11 based ROM has it so I don't have to beg everyone to add it
More and more good and active people leave this forum...looks like that the Ville has reached to an end after all these years. Even if there are still devs working for it and we have official builds for several ROMs, the variety of ROMs dropped alot. I will move also to another device, hope soon... I am between HTC One (M8) and OnePlus One...but if I won't get an invite then M8 will be the winner
@cikoleko: You might consider adding "unofficial" in the thread title since 2.16 hboot is not officially supported. Unfortunately we don't have a maintainer for AOSPA+ Legacy anymore so don't know how long the official Ville builds will be done...probably till the next major build fail or error
it works great...thx.

Did you did full wipe? P.S. what radio you are on? Personally for me even on CM11 that issue was gone for a while
I wiped cache, dalvik cache and data before flashing. Radio is 1.20. I have tried also 1.35 Radio+WCNSS+ADSP with the same result. Now back to 1.20 from this thread, still no connect. The same happens with Liberty Sixth Sense.
Nice ROM, very smooth. I will stay with this. Thx for 2.16 version.

Great ROM except that I'm having audio issues when using headphones. Sound is distorted in irregular intervals, about ten times per song. Happens with and without equaliser on play music and Apollo.
Thank you for bringing this to ville and 2.16.

Since I'm getting some pm's about rom related things these days, some info here.
I don't work on the rom itself, so I can't/won't fix any rom related bugs (e. g. wrong translations).
I use ivanich's kernel and device trees and I modify only the device tree, not the kernel.
If you have any questions about rom related things (features or something) search for it first.
I don't mind if people ask if they can't find something immediately, but often a quick search on google or in the forum is much faster, than posts or new threads.
If you don't have 10 posts to post in here, ask in the Q&A thread which is linked in Dev:DB bar.
And most important don't except from me to do anything just because you want it, though you can ask politely.
Thank you![/CENTER]

edit
@cikoleko I noticed from your screenshots that you are running radio 1.35. Out of curiosity...how's that going for you? Would you recommend it fot CM12 or it's too early to tell?

How? I have at first flash three mount errors (failed to mount) in /dev/block/platforms/msm_sdcc. 1/by-name/userdata at /data: Device or resource busy.
Second flash two, than one and than none.... wierd. Booting now. Will see.
MD5 checked and ok.
Downloading for hboot 2.15 and then testing

I had that error as well I believe, I don't recall the exact filepath. It still booted up just fine, and I'm installing all of my apps now with no issues.

My apologies, I was wrong. CameraZoom, for some reason, shows a random picture (as if you took it) when you open the app. I asked my roommate to try the camera app and thought that was the picture she took lol.
Works for me . h-boot 2.16 , bugs : camera , battery saver
It's alive!!!
Will test it futher. Gapps i used r gapps-lp-20141109-signed.zip, not PA.
WiFi ok, data ok (H+).

Are you having any luck with the camera? CameraZoom has some weird glitch where it thinks I took a picture, and other camera apps just crash.

Haven't get to camera. Tried to get root access, but i can't. Flashed latest supersu, got icon in app drawer but if i tap it, nothing happens. I will now flash titanium backup and setup Gacc so that i can test camera. Try Cyanogen camera.
edit:
My mistake for root, flashed wrong version; 1.94 instead of 2.23 beta.
So only camera is not working? And is it developer preview or "normal" ROM?

This ROM is based on the latest source code by google so it's not developer preview. I can't say it's daily driver because of camera not working but except that there's no any major issues with it, only it lacks a lot of features that CM11 has.
