I don't like how I have to manually change from flash to no-flash.
Is there a recommended camera with auto-flash option?
So, I can just take a picture day or night without having to manually make any settings changes?
The old Google camera a few years ago used to do this but the new one on my P7Pro doesn't have the option.

That's night-mode, not flash.
For me at least, it does not enable flash in dark rooms.

Wow, that is my mistake, I just tried it in the dark and Flash does not flash. I always thought that would automatically turn on flash when in low-light situations.

It's not working when in call or? Do you wipe all particion (except sd card) before flashing or do you try flashing other ROM to see if it's working?

I haven't test yet.
All the time, I turn screen bright to auto, it dark wherever i am, also it can't turn off the screen when i in call

I'm pretty sure that also with a full stock N5, if you put the phone in Silent mode, the camera shutter doesn't make the "blink"

Doesn't work in hdr mode though as the sound is within /system/priv-app/camera2.apk/res/raw
