Which ROMs out there have the ability to silence the camera shutter? So far I noticed vanir and slim kat. Anyone know of others? Thanks

Look in the Xposed thread, there should be a module to disable camera sounds.

I'll look into that right now. Thank you!
I'm pretty sure that also with a full stock N5, if you put the phone in Silent mode, the camera shutter doesn't make the "blink"

I'm aware of the full stock ROMs but I'm looking more towards custom ROMs. Thanks though.

I don't know if you are serious or not. But look at build number in the pic in your first post and it will clearly state that its Eclair. Froyo is 2.2 lol.
This is nothing more then a stock rom with the update 1 that att released to fix a few things.

So While trying out a new ROM i thought it was missing something. A flashlight app. The best one i can think of would be the torch from CM7 & after doing some looking around i noticed some other people were thinking the same thing so to make things easier i thought id extract it and post it.

or my Atrix. Is there an app equivalent on the market? I really like the adjustable strobe feature.
FCs on Gingersense leak. I'd assume it will probably do so on all Sense ROMs. Disappointing, high brightness torch > htc flashlight app x10.

It only works on some sense roms. If you are having trouble getting it to work or are getting force closes I recomend getting the Nexus Torch app off the market, I'm pretty sure u need root access for it though. Anyways thanks to all of u for trying it.
THanks for this by the way, although I wasn't able to install this particular apk, I found another. Appreciate ya
ive only gotten it to work on stock kernels, so sorry to the sense and blur users who wanted to use it.

Without root I don't think it's possible but you can use apps like power toggles, or if you root you can do this using gravity box without needing any costume roms

This app requires root for functions like reboot and wireless adb but not for torch.

I don't like how I have to manually change from flash to no-flash.
Is there a recommended camera with auto-flash option?
So, I can just take a picture day or night without having to manually make any settings changes?
The old Google camera a few years ago used to do this but the new one on my P7Pro doesn't have the option.
There is a auto flash option in my camera

Wow, that is my mistake, I just tried it in the dark and Flash does not flash. I always thought that would automatically turn on flash when in low-light situations.
