Question Port moto gametime for aosp or custom. - Motorola Moto G100 / Edge S

Hi guys. Want to ask is it possible to port moto gametime to be able use on aosp or other than stock rom? Or is there any suggestions any gaming mode app that can offer feature like accidental touch lock in moto gametime? Welp I love using moto gametime but it can't install directly without being ported or any suggestions?

It would be useless, as there are Custom ROMs that deliver superior functions, such as Angle Drivers that will deliver a little more performance

[Q] Better camera app for the stock JB rom while keeping the original. KitKat APK?

Hi. Is there any official or unofficial camera app or apk that can coexist with the stock Razr HD 4.1 camera app and that at the same time improve on its shortcomings (ie it's better)?
The Razr HD's camera app is sloooooooooow, and also takes ugly pictures in many conditions. I think it might a problem with the software and not the sensor, given how the Moto X and the Nexus 5 had picture quality problems before some updates fixed them. I would be happy with a KitKat camera apk that doesn't overwrite the stock one, or a 3rd party camera app.
The reason I don't want the original camera to be overwritten is that I'm about to travel, and I don't want to be messing with the phone at this point and risking having no working camera app whatsoever because of the thinkering. I don't know if the AOSP KitKat or Moto X apks that are in this forum would replace the Razr HD's camera (I think it is moto software, not AOSP), or create problems for other software. But I'm not sure, I have very little experience messing with android.
Thanks!

Beware, that file has A LOT of positives in virustotal: https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/...3b3bb952143dd9a1e6efa5f597350936a35/analysis/
It really seems an ugly malware, if inconsecuential for the non china mobile users: http://www.securityweek.com/resilient-smszombie-infects-500000-android-users-china (IF it isn't an updated strand)

Cyanogenmod on Moto G

Hi!
As a Moto G owner I was wondering if there were any benefits of installing Cyanogenmod on the Moto G, seeing as Moto G runs a vanilla version of Android anyway, any thoughts?
Thanks
i have the same doubt

The CM11 is even lighter on resources than the stock Android. It also brings plenty of useful features without you needing to install them separately like Torch, ability to turn on & off features straight from notification bar which is extremely convenient. You can also add more entries of your choice in said bar, e.g. network data preference (2G or 3G). Not just this, but the CM11 comes with a beautiful File Manager out-of-the-box which even puts my paid Solid Explorer to shame; although the UI is very identical. You'll definitely feel the difference once you start using it yourself. Even tiny things like changing hostname alone make it a worthwhile practice.
EDIT:
I also agree with what @Durteedee said, GravityBox should bring many of CM11 features to stock Android if you don't want to deal with flashing and stuff.

Samsung Pro Audio port

Hi everyone, I'm learning more about Android, I'm a musician too, and want to use (in future) Amplitube in my Moto G 2014.
Thinking on professional music apps, Samsung created Samsung Pro Audio, which delivers very low audio latency.
My questions is: Can it be ported to another non-Samsung device? If not, is there a possibility to do it in future, if a developer who know much about android try?
Sorry if it's a too noob question, but I didn't find an answer anywhere in my searches
Much like almost anything Samsung, I doubt the source code for the Pro Audio support is available. Furthermore, given the low-end hardware in the Moto G, I doubt you'd get anywhere near the same experience even if a developer found a way.

Best ROM for my Moto G 2015 8GB/1GB Ram - XT1541

Hello, i am looking for best rom for my XT1541 with 1gb ram. I dont need super stuff, just smooth and performance. Can you recommend something for me?
Either use stock without any gapps and moto apps (just remove them and it will be fine) and use Yalp Store as a Play Store replacement or Slim7 latest unofficial build (https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=673791459329064522). Make sure you download a messages app in case you use Slim7 since it doesn't come with one. I wouldn't advise using Oreo ROMs at the moment since they haven't matured enough yet. The only one that is looking promising imo is the AOSP one by Alberto97, again tho, not that great battery wise and camera is only working in Footej which doesn't offer the same quality as other options. If AOSP (original one) existed for osprey I think it would be ideal.

Question this phone will have many custom rom/ development?

Hi, I like the phone but also I want to put some tweaks like 90hz display, custom roms, pixel 6 camera features(motion mode), kernels...
will we see a lot of development as in the xiaomi poco f1 or not?
thank you
If you have a Xaomi, i recommend keeping it a little longer. Roms for this devive are in a weird situation because the only 2 stable ones are calyx and graphene which arevboth great, but they are both very barebones and kind of difficult if you aren't experienced with degoogling

thank you, but with the same cpu as pixel 6 and 6 pro, it will be easy to port roms from pixel 6?

Yes, adding Bluejay is possible. Whether developers choose to do it is another question.
Velocity will be ready for public release soon. I'm just buttoning up a few more things.
I noticed with the phones I've own, custom ROM seem to get me frequent as the phone gets older and the stock rom releases begin to vaporize. If the phone has enuff hardware power n memory AND there's no more factory support (as in many older midrange Motos). The Moto G5+ and G5S+ had active 'post' communities as did the G6...I got a G7 cuz of 4gb memory figured it'd be a big post EOL project/rom phone BUT I missed the fact that moto was following google with the whole dynamic update w/ dual A/B slots which killed our beloved TWRP custom recovery and nandrive image backup.
BUT is u weren't into rooting/tweaking then that explains why Android Police named it the #1 phone for running LOS! Esp. after Moto released thr Android 10 kernel source code!! This is the main reason I didn't sell/trade it off...and ofc my wife put one of those sky-blue 2pc cases from Poetic and claimed it! lol
