DZ09 dead after imei change - General Questions and Answers

Mod translation:
Hello, I will tell you about my experience, I have 2 dz09 watches for some reason in my country they blocked my factory imei
Change the imei of the first watch but forget to put the SN1 (factory serial number) and the watch no longer turns on or detects it as a USB device.
On the second watch I did the same, but now I made sure that the serial number was the same as the factory one and the IMEI was changed successfully.
So the problem is the serial number.
Has anyone managed to turn on the DZ09 watch after forgetting the serial number?
The tool I use is "Write Imei R3.0.0.1"

The clock driver that works now is this one to use as a guide for the driver
(The clock that forgets to put the serial number is not detected by the computer at all)

Never heard of this. AFAIK an IMEI typically gets blocked / blacklisted by carrier when they get informed device got stolen.

You need to locate the Original Stock ROM based on its model to Flash , normally this will recover your IMEI, just read this and this for reference

If you are using XDA App or Tapatalk, long press on the post and select :good: Thanks Its easier to give "Feedback" in this manner than make an additional post.
VolcanoBox
If you have no success you could use the a professional solution eg:- VolcanoBox etc this will also repair dead IMEI but you must write the same IMEI back to the device that matches the sticker

Carrier Unlocking

I dropped and cracked the screen on my Photon Q. :crying: It works but it keeps acting like the screen is touched where the crack is.
I ordered a replacement on ebay and received it. I rooted it with Kingroot. It is running Android 4.1.2.
I called Red Pocket Mobile to have them activate the device on my account, but they said they could not until Sprint unlocks it. :crying:Sprint customer service tells me they cannot unlock, unless I have the following: :crying:
account number attached to the device confused: )
account holder's name (

)
account holder's password, or the last 4 digits of their SSN (
)
IMEI or MEID (found both under settings )
phone number attached to device
There is a phone number in the device settings. When I enter that into Sprint's customer service phone robot, she does not recognize the number. So, I am assuming the person has moved their number to some other company. (
)
Suggestions / solutions?
Could I somehow move the software and settings from the cracked one to the new one? Some kind of bit-by-bit clone or something?
Other Solutions?
I guess you could put the old motherboard inside the "new" phone. It's simple - all you have to use is a torx 5 (or maybe it was torx 4) screwdriver.
Thank you for the suggestion

I have very bad luck. Murphy must just hate me LOL. But, I will take it to a shop and have that done. Should be inexpensive if it is so easy...

Security Code on Phone Packaging - Is there one? Solved

Just wanted to check in with other Poco X3 NFC owners. When I went to register the device with Xiaomi, I signed into my Mi Account, then to the registration page where there were 2 tabs: "Verify your phone purchase", which requires the imei code. The second tab is "Xiaomi Product Authentication", which requires a 20-digit security code. The code location is shown in this picture:

I searched my packaging for this scratch off label, but there isn't one, nor is there a security code anywhere on the packaging. One end of the box has the SN and 2 imei codes, as does the sticker on the back of the phone. But neither shows a security code.
I contact Xiaomi support and they responded that if the label isn't there, the product may not be genuine and then told me to contact the vendor, which was Bangg**d. I have and am waiting for their response.
My question to fellow Poco owners is, did you have this authentication label on your phone, or somewhere on the packaging?
I would appreciate your response, as at this point I don't know if the phone is genuine or not. Phone works fine.
After finally getting a straight answer from Xiaomi this question is answered. The 20-digit security code is for Power banks, the imei is for phones. So no, there is no security code required for the phone.

Thanks. How do we know when the warranty started then? I want to check if the phone was used before.

Question My US S22 Ultra SM-S908U1 has 2 IEMI numbers and a EID ?

Just noticed my US S22 Ultra SM-S908U1 has 2 IEMI numbers and 1 EID my fold 3 only has 1 IEMI and one EID.
Does that mean If I add a dual sim tray the phone will support dual sim cards instead of one sim and one esim ?
Nope. the 2 IMEIs is one for the physical sim and the other is for the esim. You can see they are labeled as IMEI and IMEI (eSIM).

When I dial *#06# it shows as IMEI1 and IMEI2 along with the EID number ?
I thought the EID = Embedded Identity Document or (eSIM) ?

Go to SETTINGS --> ABOUT PHONE and you will find the answer.. the eSIM still needs an IMEI

Got it - Seems the the eSIM is tied to IMEI #2 Thanks
Wonder if that has anything to do with why the US Fold 3 which has a EID number but no second IMEI don't have US eSIM support even after several Samsung support people told me the phones hardware does support it that it just needs a firmware update which will be coming ?

Where are blocked numbers stored?

Hello,
I have a OnePlus Nord10 5G cell phone, running Android 11.
I have received many spam phone calls on my phone, which I have blocked.
Where on my phone are these blocked numbers stored internally?
Thank you.

Blocked numbers are stored by the system application "phone."
It is not at all certain that you will have access to the data of this application.
Thank you for the response ze7zez.
I wanted to transfer the blocked numbers to another phone, but that may explain why I have not been able to find the data.

Today I checked. The app captures blocked numbers through the native app, but there is no backup/restore option. There are no options at all.
The investigation and search for a solution is still ongoing.
edit.
It's OK. When you click on the (+), a menu appears with the ability to export the MyBlocked-YYYY-MM-DD.json file.
After importing the file on another device, the application can be safely deleted. The list of blocked numbers remains available to the phone's native app.
