Root Confusion

I posted this in another thread but no help.
I rooted my phone using the one click utility with no problem.
Later, I installed script manager to run a script for the V6 Supercharger mod. Everything installed fine until the very end, at the end of the installation, I received a message that Script manager has stopped working. I then closed it.
Now I'm trying to run a different script, as su, but I receive a "permission denied" message. I entered su into terminal and get the same message, "permission denied".
This led me to believe that I lost root. I tried running the one click utility again but received an error. The error is: "protocol fault ". I'm also unable to update the SuperSU binary; I only get "Installation Failed".
What is going on here? Did I just lose root?

[Q] ZTE Midnight root? (repost, please anyone)

So I have the ZTE Midnight (Z768G) and I am getting the classic "low on space" message and I know what rooting is as I rooted my Nook Tablet 4GB but I can't seem to find a root that will work for my phone so that I can set my default storage to the SD card and I was wondering if someone could help me. Or if there's alternatives to rooting it that would also be nice. I installed an app that can erase cache but it's not doing much for me right now. I can't even update my apps. Any help would be nice!!

any updates?
I have been doing some research (xda and google) about a method on how to root this phone (ZTE Midnight Z768G) The only thing that appears to have worked is an app called "VROOT". It is a chinnese application that you install on windows and connect the phone via usb to root it.
On my phone it says that it is rooted, but any aplicaction that tries to get root privileges gets automatically denied with no prompt asking to allow or deny.
Everything gets denied. A toast message appears and says "[app] has refused to super authority request" thus any app gets denied.
The 'vroot' app installs a chinnese 'superuser' app that is supposed to grant/deny root access but it doesn't work.
So basically something is wrong...
I am able to gain root access via ADB shell and mount the system as read-write. When I type 'su' I even get the prompt "#". However, on the phone, the 'superuser' app does nothing.
If you have any info let me know.
Try installing the app called "SuperSU" from Google Play.

Xposed failed to get root Access. (Android SmartTV)

Hi I have Recently bought a SmartTV (Sinotec SmartTV)that runs on Android 4.2.2 (KitKat) I have been trying to use a TV streaming app that I downloaded onto the TV. I get an Error because my device is rooted. I Followed instructions on threads here and downloaded Xoosed installer and also downloaded Modules for KitKat as well as RootCloak. The app is still not working. I tried to bypass the root and I get an error saying “Xposed failed to get root access” I am out of ideas and I don’t know what to do anymore. I am new in this. Is there anyone who can assist? The App I am trying to use in my SmartTV is called “DSTVNOW” please assist.
Thanks

Disable Airwatch MDM

Hi, I've bought a galaxy a8(2018) SM-A530F and recently I've done a factory reset to my phone but when It started, Airwatch is blocking access to my phone. All I can do now is boot my phone using safe mode to use some basic features. I have tried to uninstall airwatch package using adb but it's telling me 'Cannot disable a protected package: com.airwatch.androidagent' , any clues ?
Note: Airwatch app has set itself to a Device administrator and I deactivate it.
Thanks
Hey, Ex MDM manager here, the only way to remove it is for the device admin to remove it from their end.
Btw I rooted my phone with some fix patches done blackmesa0 and It's working fine.
Thanks though
