whenever an app gets root access a message pops up saying "(app name) has been granted superuser permissions"
how do i disable this message? i could on my old rom in the superuser app, but i cant find the option to on this rom. im currently on running version 1.10.21 MIUI on my droid incredible.
Superuser App > settings > uncheck notification. If not working for you try to mention what version is it and a screenshot of settings screen.
Note: Disabling this notification is considered very bad security practice because if some malware tries to get super access you won't detect that.
Just received my OPO and unlocked, flashed recovery, and rooted it using the lastest SuperSU via TWRP. I noticed that upon launching an app that requires root access, I am prompted to grant root permissions, however, I am unable to click "grant" or even "deny". I simply have to let the window timeout and fail to give root permissions. I don't believe it's a screen sensitivity issue as I am able to click that area when the prompt is not there.
Any ideas as how to resolve this issue?
Thanks!
Resolved - for whatever reason, Tapjacking protection needs to be unchecked in order to interact with the prompt.

i have oneplus one rooted phone, shows green for "root checker" app too.but whenever i open "game hacker" app shows app is granted by super su and shows a popup window saying "Sorry, your device doesn't get root privileges,so you can't modify games.please try again when you get root privileges.i suggest you try to use Baidu onekey root tool easily get root privileges." what to do now???
Hello,
Welcome to XDA.
To better assist you, your thread will be moved to your device Q&A forum. The experts there may be able to help. Good luck.
Which rom are you using?
In cm based roms there is an option to enable root access in developer settings.
if Super Su is showing that the root access is granted to your app, then your app might be buggy, not the supersu or android system.

Got root access to CM 12.1. Sharing the method here thought would be helpful to some users.
1. Go to developer options
2. Enable root access by selecting any one options out of Apps only, ADB only and Apps and ADB.
3. Then turn on terminal option
4. Go and find Terminal in app tray, then type SU and enter
5. Done....! you got the root access.
P.S: a '#' symbol is shown to say that your mobile is successfully rooted. You can also check using rootchecker app from playstore.
Press thank button if this info was useful.
Enable developer options by tapping the build number rapidly in the about phone section in settings. Then enable root access from dev options.
Hi everyone thanks for the reply in advance i searched the forum for someone with similar question and found none. Maybe its because no one is as dumb as I. Anyway from the title you might have understood my question.
I wanted to install App Ops in my Mi11x running MIUI 12.5 (Android 11) using shizuku. But shizuku says the permission on my adb is limited due to my manufacturer and thus cant enable application management to give permission to app ops. I gave shizuku permission to app ops through the system permission manager but that doesnt seem to work. Disabled miui optimization too and still doesnt work. The shizuku app sends me to this link : https://shizuku.rikka.app/guide/setup/
In the guide under miui in there it redirects me to 2 pages in chinese i tried translating with google translate but it just says what i did, that is in the github link. the other i didnt really understand much. Can anyone help me and just give me a guide or something on what i should do?
any help is appreciated. Thanks
Have a good day
Enable developer options, wireless debugging AND USB debugging, pair shizuku, start shizuku, go to App Ops app settings and allow usage of shizuku (from Apps> App Ops> permissions> additional permissions> allow shizuku access) and done. It's because MIUI breaks the dialogue for shizuku app permission
